Kaelen doesn't have a cause, or faction. And it's gonna stay that way. His philosophy is simple - You're a Sith or Imperial? Great. He dislikes you on principle. You're the little guy in the 'verse? He'll drag himself over jagged glass and coals to help you. You're a Jedi? He's suspicious, but doesn't view you as much of anything immediately. You'll need to prove you're actually sticking to the virtues and values you say you are. He's gotten burned before.
That aside, Kaelen has left a profitable family 'shipping' business to learn more of his grandfather,
Julius Sedaire
and his legacy, and to decide for himself just who and what he is. So if you have ideas for threads, lets plot. But no, this dude is almost certainly not going to be joining your faction, partly for story, and partly because I don't know who he is or how he would fit in that end, and i'm enjoying that! So just be aware there.
