Description: The Reach of Prosperity is a mobile space station that serves as a central logistics hub and the de facto capital of the Eternal Union remnant, surrounded by warships and cargo liners. Inside, the station is an overcrowded and bustling space habitat with more than 100,000 inhabitants, crew, and droids. With all the core services and amenities for sustainable living.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Visual interior guide: A large interior with mock natural lighting. Some areas have crowded streets and alleyways, while others are wide open and have been engineered to look more terrestrial. There are also darker, less-traveled areas of the station that can range from claustrophobic spaces to industrial locales.
The Concourse: All traffic in and out of the station moves through the Concourse, a massive strip of space that curves along the outer edge of the station, connecting docking ports and bays. While much of the space is used for the movement of people and cargo, there are various services and accommodations one could expect in any spaceport, including places to eat, rest, and lay low.
Ward 5: The largest ward and home to crew housing and essential services, including a major medical complex, laboratories, and academic facilities. Ward 5 also includes the entrance to hidden facilities and tunnels located between the wards.
Command and Control: All oversight and security for the station are managed at the centralized Command and Control center, located in a massive square tower atop the Reach of Prosperity, with four large observation decks protruding above it. Perhaps the most noteworthy feature is the central computer room, which houses a truly massive BRT Supercomputer that controls the whole station and its droids.
Ward 9: A central ward connecting all the others, Ward 9 is the hub for dining, requisition, and recreation on the station. There is even a large auditorium and forum for speeches and other mandated social gatherings. With the current strain on station operations, many of the ‘establishments’ in Ward 9 have begun to take on a more personal touch, as individual managers are given more autonomy to manage their facilities--including dining halls, emporiums, lounges, and cantinas.
The Arboretum: Among the several agricultural centers and botanical gardens located on the Reach, the Arboretum is its most impressive. Truly massive and engineered to appear natural, it is equipped with simulated ‘natural’ light and a water reservoir. Each species of tree, shrub, and field plant is carefully selected for both resilience and ecological niche. Managed populations of insects and small vertebrates are kept within the Arboretum, and there are several gardens within that maintain specific cultivars of edible and medicinally important plants.
The Center: The ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ halves of the station are connected by a fully automated logistics complex called the Center. Off-limits to anyone without permission, the spiderweb of scaffolding and conveyor systems is abandoned, save for droid workers and stowaways. Much of it is an open vertical space nearly 4km deep, making it an easy place for ‘accidents’ to happen, or to find a quiet and unguarded refuge.

One of twenty Core-class Frontier Star Habitats launched by the Eternal Union, the Reach of Prosperity became one of a kind when it was stranded with the rest of its fleet during the Planeshift. Now, the station serves as the remnant’s de facto capital, housing crew and specialists. In only a matter of months, the Reach has been transformed from its original role into an operational lifeline for the Eternal Union’s survival in the Outer Rim.
The station's original population was meant to be temporary, but now that may not be the case, as civilians and crew alike readjust to the possibility of a more permanent situation. This has led to a fundamental shift in protocol, as facility managers and residential staff have been given more autonomy and leeway in their day-to-day. Emporiums and other services have become more personalized. Some even have limited access to outside resources, and have been able to put in 'special requisitions' for unique goods. Others have completely adjusted their presentations to call back to specific worlds or styles to combat homesickness and boost morale.
For the rest of the station, adjustments have been slow and ongoing, and it is likely that the Reach's identity and purpose will remain fluid and ever-changing to meet the demands of the Eternal Union remnant.
