I've never been a fan of the Assassins Creed series, and even less so for their characters being reference images for roleplay characters. This stems from my early adventures in Medieval Fantasy roleplay where every second guy and their mother roleplayed as an assassin and all of them used Altaïr as their character. As you can imagine, a world full of identical assassins was infuriating, and that frustration continues to echo in my mind.
