SETTING INFORMATION
  • Military Base Name: Snowhusker Facility
  • Classification: Military Production Facility / Army Base
  • Location: Helska IV
  • Affiliation: Ra'a'mah Ra'a'mah
  • Population: Sparse
    • Production Staff: ~150
    • Security Personnel: ~30
    • Administrative & Technical Staff: ~20
  • Demographics: Primarily Human, with a few other common species. The staff is a mix of skilled laborers, technicians, and security contractors loyal to Ra'a'mah and House Raxis.
  • Accessibility: The facility is exceptionally difficult to find accidentally. Situated on the frozen, largely uninhabited world of Helska IV, there is no local population to provide directions. The harsh, freezing climate acts as a natural deterrent. To locate the facility, one must have its precise coordinates or be actively and specifically searching for it.
  • Description: From the outside, the Snowhusker Facility appears as a utilitarian, unremarkable structure built from a blend of ice, brick, and stone. Its exterior is deliberately designed to blend into the frozen landscape, betraying nothing of its true purpose. Inside, however, it is a fully automated and highly active production line, constantly churning out Phase II Dark Troopers in a cacophony of industrial noise and machinery.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Main Entrance: A standard factory reception area equipped with basic scanning technology, including fingerprint and retina scanners, to ensure only authorized personnel can enter. This area is intentionally vulnerable to an EMP strike, so to compensate, two security guards are perpetually stationed here to prevent any unauthorized access to the internal factory.
  • The First Floor: The heart of raw material processing. This floor is dominated by massive columns of heat and vats of molten metal. A labyrinth of pipes runs along the walls and ceiling, pumping molten material to shaping machines and cooling racks where metallic droid parts are formed and solidified. Damage to this critical floor would halt the entire production process.
  • The Central Stairwell: The main vertical artery of the facility, containing the primary stairwell and an elevator. This system allows access to all floors except the topmost level. It is a chokepoint; any damage or blockage here would prevent movement between floors, effectively crippling the facility's operation.
  • The Second Floor: The assembly floor. Prefabricated parts from the first floor are moved here and welded together. Final shaping is performed manually across a row of workbenches. The droids are assembled but lack electronics. A large hole in the corner drops back down to the heating columns of the first floor, allowing misshapen or broken droid frames to be melted down and recycled.
  • The Third Floor: The electronics and programming hub. All droids are fitted with their internal systems and programmed by advanced machinery. Every droid is then manually tested by a sentient being to ensure it functions and takes orders correctly. This floor houses the facility's emergency stop button for the entire production line. Notably, this is where the main stairwell and elevator terminate. In the far corner lies a separate, heavily guarded elevator leading to the upper levels.
  • The Fourth Floor: This executive and administrative level is only accessible via the guarded elevator. It contains all the offices, including the main server rooms and the central service room. The service room acts as the master control room for all machinery across every production floor, providing total monitoring capability. Another elevator on this floor provides access to the basement storage area.
  • Ra'a'mah's Office: The private office of the factory owner, Ra'a'mah. It features readouts and reports for all processes, offering complete control over the factory and its production. It has direct communication links to the foreman's office, the basement, and the hangar corridor. Though rarely used, it is kept pristine for Ra'a'mah's potential return.
  • The Basement: A large storage area that also serves as the logistical hub. It provides access to the imports hangar and a civilian hangar via two long tunnels, which are located roughly a mile away to keep external traffic separate from the main facility.
SECURITY
  • Security Rating: Medium
  • Perimeter Defenses:
    • Natural Environment: The planet's extreme cold serves as the primary external deterrent.
    • Isolation: The facility's location on an uninhabited world makes it inherently difficult to find.
  • Internal Defenses:
    • Security Personnel: A dedicated force of hired guards patrols the facility, with a constant presence in critical areas like the Main Entrance and the Third Floor.
    • Biometric Scans: Basic fingerprint and eye-scanning technology controls access at the main entrance.
    • Chokepoints: The layout of the Central Stairwell and the separate elevator to the Fourth Floor act as controlled bottlenecks.
    • Emergency Systems: The facility has an emergency stop button on the Third Floor to halt production in the event of an incident.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Acquired during the days of the Dominion and rebuilt by Ra'a'mah Numare, the facility has one primary function: to produce Phase II Dark Troopers continuously. To maintain her neutrality and anonymity, Ra'a'mah has no official tie to the building; she had it constructed under the foreman's name. She was, however, the sole designer and financier of the facility.

Designed to be entirely unremarkable from the outside, the Snowhusker Facility harbors a clandestine operation within. Its purpose is to build an elite army for Ra'a'mah. The facility is staffed by approximately two hundred loyal personnel at all times, including production staff, security, and higher-ups from House Raxis. Many of these individuals live on-site, working in shifts to ensure that production continues around the clock with minimal interruption, with any stoppage being reported immediately.
