STRENGTHS:

• Cunning: Having hundreds of years of experience under his belt, Ranik has come to learn how to exploit the trust and tactics of his enemies or opponents. Capable of achieving his goals without always requiring a confrontation; and subsequent losses.
• Heightened Senses: As an energy vampire Ranik possesses senses beyond that of ordinary lifeforms, rivaling but hardly besting those of a Force Sensitive as that would require exploration in to potential Force sensitivity.
• Strength of Body: In hand with the granted senses, Ranik also possesses strength and speed beyond that of a normal being as well as the ability to heal himself rapidly through feeding.

WEAKNESSES:

• Heavy Damage: While he is capable of healing himself, Ranik is unable to sustain too great of damage in one instance of time without succumbing to his wounds should he fail to heal himself in time.
• Hubris: With an ego the size of Ranik's there is no question that he suffers from pride, often thinking himself superior to most other beings he encounters; including his own crew. This ego also reflects itself in the form of feeling invincible.
• Paranoid: While it does not always show, and is often accounted for through action, Ranik lacks the ability to trust anyone but himself.

APPEARANCE:

Standing at five feet and eleven inches, Ranik is subtly tall with an athletic build to match. While his muscles aren't nearly as toned as those of his build that focus on physical muscle tone alone, he is not without definition to his muscles. He chooses to wear his hair short but a messy form of well kept, which differs from his facial hair which is often mildly unkempt though far too short to be obviously noticeable. Something that does stand out and indicates him as an energy vampire is his elongated teeth and retractable serrated claws; which if seen would give him away.

Unwilling to let the times get the best of him, Ranik is a very capable dresser. Often wearing clothes befitting a soldier on leave or a politician spending time at their private villa. This includes fine clothes made from silk, velvet or leather with the added touch of boots, trench coats and a number of keepsake necklaces taken from victims over the years.

BIOGRAPHY:
Ranik was born Ambrose Wexler Delmont on the planet of Dromuund Kas to a pair of dark siders hiding on the planet from the eras prevalent Jedi. In the early years of his life he was stolen away from his family by mercenaries that took advantage of an entanglement between those parents and those who hunted them, ultimately leaving the boy an orphan. This hardly effected the boy but in the years following few can place exactly what became of the boy and those who had taken him into their possession. What little can be assumed is that they were all killed and the only survivor was a young and grown Ambrose Delmont; though by this time he had come to call himself Wexler, using his middle name to hide his own disappearance.

For hundreds of years, slowly coming into awareness of what he believed a change in his own being, Wexler explored what it meant to be what others came to call him. An energy vampire. Remarkable senses, incredible strength and speed, all topped by the ability to feed and heal himself to abate most any wound. Though the greatest gift had come by accident, something he had already experienced inadvertently: He was potentially immortal should he continue to live the life he continued to lead. Which went without saying that he sought out those possibly similar to himself. Some he killed, others he sought their secrets, ultimately perfecting his knowledge of what he was.

Decades continued to pass, the events of Clone Wars, a plague that nearly destroyed the galaxy and a war between the new Sith and the persisting Jedi. By this time he had come to take a new name, no longer caring to hide the surname he had been born to. Now calling himself Ranik Delmont, the energy vampire acquired the basis of a crew and a modernized Kossak-class frigate and set out with the intent to continue living his life as he always had.

With the added fancy of collecting a profit.

SHIP AND EQUIPMENT:
The Ripper's Blade and a variety of blades and blasters; though he does not use the blasters. Among his many weapons is a 'cold-steel' vibroblade claimed as a prize from a defeated Echani from decades ago.
