On the ANV Tython...

"Captain, the Jedi are preparing their starfighters for launch," Commander Darek told Izah, whose golden gaze had been focused on the stars beyond the viewport with their usual unbreakable focus. She had only received command of this fresh of the docks Concord-class Star Defender, but she was already feeling the weight of this new responsibility heavily on her shoulders. With participation at the Battle over Mustafar, she had hopefully shown her superiors that she was a capable captain, but today's assignment was very different from what her training had focused on.

The ANV Tython was being used as a launching platform for two Jedi — Master Noble, a war hero of the Alliance, and Knight Nexo, a Jedi who has already proven himself to be a capable fighter. Between their combined experience and expertise, they were the perfect candidates for this risky mission to track down and intercept a Maw freighter behind enemy lines, neutralize it and ensure its Dark Side tainted cargo was purged.

"Very good, please open a channel to them," Izah finally said as she turned to the commander.

Within the ship's hangar, Valery and Nexo were going through final checks on their respective ships when the call came through, "Master Noble, Knight Nexo; this is Captain Izah'zore, thank you for your assistance today," the woman began as her holo-projection appeared to them both. The purple twi'lek stood straight with her hands clasped behind her back and spoke in a very professional tone.

"When you are both ready, we'll launch you as close as possible to the Batorine system, from where the Maw freighter you'll be targeting was redirected back to deeper Maw territory. According to our latest intel, it's protected by a squadron of enemy fighters, which you'll have to dispatch while you attempt to disable the ship. Once it's no longer able to jump to hyperspace, you will have clearance to board the vessel and secure or purge the artifacts."

"If there are questions or if you need assistance, we will be here for you both." She then paused a moment, but there was no smile or emotional response of any kind, "As the Jedi would say, may the Force be with you both."

Nexo had been doing several walk-arounds to inspect, one last time, his Jedi Vector starfighter. In his hand was clutched a datapad with numerous checklist items. As Nexo was finishing up the checklist the holo projection of the ship's captain flickered into existence before him. Nexo straightened up and listened silently until she gave him a parting word "And with you Captain." Nexo gave a tilt of his horn wreathed head. The Jedi Knight turned to the Vector and began to climb up into the cockpit. Once Nexo was inside he began to strap himself "Master Noble." he said while not looking at her and pulling the straps tightly to ensure that he was secured "It is an honor to fly by your side." he looked up and then over to her "The Brotherhood's fighter squadrons are made up of old TIE fighters and X-Wing models, but also a good number Darkshears. The Darkshears will be nothing to worry about and I doubt they'll be around. But I don't need to tell you about the capability of X-Wings. Even hundreds of years old, four laser cannons and proton torpedoes will still do the trick. They're heavily armed, decently armored, hyperdrive capable, and shielded." Nexo gave her a reassuring smile "But we can handle them."

The transparisteel canopy slid forward from a recessed position within the fuselage of the Vector and sealed the Jedi Knight within. Nexo affixed a golden metal headset to his right ear, a thin band of metal ran across his forehead. While looking towards Valery he spoke into the microphone "Radio check."

After listening to the Captain's words, Valery dipped her head and replied, "Thank you, Captain. We'll be back soon," she smirked with her usual confidence and turned off the holo-call before she looked up at her modified X-wing one last time. All the safety inspections were covered, weapons were ready and preliminary checks were all green.

She was ready to fly.

Valery then climbed up the ladder on the side of her X-wing and paused only to look over at Nexo, who was getting ready for departure as well, "The pleasure is mine, Knight Nexo, and judging by the intel, maybe it's a good thing I brought an X-wing myself, albeit with some... modifications," she winked and flashed a bit of a grin his way. It wasn't that often that she got to bring out her starfighter for actual combat use, but she always loved the thrill, and her people were known for their excellent dogfighting capabilities, a result of their special eyesight.

"We'll be outnumbered, but I'm sure we can keep them off each other's backs," Valery said without any doubts. While this was their first time meeting and working together, she trusted him simply because he was a Jedi. They were here to get a job done, and getting each other back home safe was part of that mission.

The canopy of the X-wing then opened up, and after climbing inside, it closed again so all systems could come online. She ran through her final checks and when she heard his voice over the radio, she called back to him, "Radio copy. Requesting clearance to depart,"

"Permission granted," Izah replied, and along with her words, the hangar bay doors opened. Slowly, Valery's X-wing began to levitate and with a slow, calculated speed, she departed from the Hangar.

"Ready for the jump to hyperspace...." she paused and looked through the cockpit window at Nexo, "Knight Nexo, let's show them what we're made of, hm?"

Nexo looked forward as Valery responded over the radio back to him. As the X-Wing lifted off a few seconds later so would the Vector, the old starfighter hummed with life. From within the cockpit the Zabrak Jedi closed his eyes and breathed with intense focus, his presence flowing over the relic through the Force itself. Where there were no sensors his vigilance replaced them, where damage control readouts were to be displayed a sparsely populated dashboard stood in their stead for the focused mind would require no assistance. Truly becoming one with the vessel was like learning to use a lightsaber all over again - and a leading reason for the obsolesce of the Vector in more recent history.

When Nexo opened his eyes he felt as if he had never closed them. What he was experiencing was a seamless transition from physical sight and Farsight, a foundational ability for the Jedi though in this instance much deeper. Sure of himself that he had sufficiently attuned himself to the Vector and its systems Nexo responded to the Jedi Master "Standing by." then he turned his to look towards her as they floated side by side and gave her a tight nod "As you say Master Noble." in his tone he was more exact. More detached. He was suppressing his emotions and attempting to exist in a state of as much serenity and focus as he could muster. Anything less and the immense focus and precision required to adequately pilot the Vector could lead to his death either from accidental pilot error or from being shot-down. After all, the Vector was a minimalist design and lacked the sturdy shielding of the X-Wing.

The Zabrak looked forward and leaned back in his seat "Activating hyperdrive." without a motion of his body, and utilizing only the Force, Nexo engaged the ship's hyperdrive.

The moment the two fighters prepared to jump to Hyperspace, Valery allowed herself to fall deeper into the Force as well. She was an experienced combat pilot and one, like many other Jedi, who could tap into the Force not only to heighten reflexes but also to predict and read the flow of combat. It wasn't her focus, however, so she wasn't one of the best among the Jedi aces, but together with another very capable Jedi pilot, she felt confident the enemy fighter escorts weren't going to be a problem.

"Activating hyperdrive."

She heard his words and synced up to make the jump at the exact same time and because they were so close to their target already, the actual time spent in Hyperspace only lasted a minute or so. When they dropped back into Realspace, the enemy freighter was right ahead, escorted by various Maw Fighters who quickly responded to the Jedi presence. It was likely odd for them to see only two enemy fighters moving in to attack, but they had no idea Jedi were piloting them.

"Locking S-foils in attack position," Valery said before she flipped the switch for it and noticed the power systems shifting within her fighter. "Let's handle the first wave, then I'll use my heavier weapons to disable the freighter before it can escape. I'll need your cover while I do so," Valery suggested. His fighter was really built to go into these dogfights, but the X-wing was a little more multi-role, and she had equipped some nasty weapons for this mission.

BlackSquadron_Battle_of_Yavin.png

With great speed, the enemy Tie-fighters were the first to respond — 6 of them in total, formed up in pairs of two. Their green bolts immediately lit up space around the two Jedi, but Valery was quick to outmaneuver the incoming assault and blew the first fighter apart with a quick frontal burst.

"Passing them now, watch your back," Valery said calmly, as the dogfight truly began, and the Tie Fighters looked to take advantage of their numbers.

"Copy." Nexo responded to Valery's battle plan. He would leverage the nimble maneuverability of the Vector to provide cover for the heavier X-Wing, a simple enough plan and one that was as about as reliable as could be made prior to engaging the enemy and getting more of a feel for the pilots they were contending with.

The Jedi Knight had his lasercannons set to 'disable' as he had yet to place his lightsaber hilt into the dedicated activation silo, a special key of sorts to activating the Vector's lethal weapons mode. It was Nexo's belief that restraint should be shown prior to resorting to fatal blows. At the least this was what his training within the NJO had shown him. Sometimes ideal were deadly to the holder. If Nexo was going to protect Master Noble and himself he would need to tread the line between the two options carefully.

As Valery dispatched the first of the six TIE fighters, Nexo, returned fire off of the Jedi Master's right side. Two blue bolts collided with the cockpit of another TIE. As Nexo pulled shallowly upward and made a narrow pass over the hostile starfighter he could sense that the systems of the stricken TIE were offline. He had successfully disabled it, and hopefully spared the pilot within.

Nexo maneuvered the Vector high above the TIE squadron as they separated into pairs "Two on your tail." he reported calmly as a team of TIE fighters did indeed wheel around and began to line up on the Jedi Master's flank. Green blaster bolts flashed around her X-Wing and even some may have impacted her X-Wing's shielding. Meanwhile her wingman dove down towards her direction and with two volleys was able to land a hit on one of the two TIE fighters. This caused its engines to sputter and the craft to lose control, tumbling with great speed into the void of space.

3 TIE fighters remained.

After taking down the first Tie-fighter, Valery quickly changed targets to go after its wingmen, as it would be less likely for him to receive quick aid from the other fighters, who were paired up and maneuvring around. But while she moved up behind it, two Tie-fighters had circled around and were looking to take her down.

"Two on your tail."

"Copy that," Valery said before she pulled the trigger and blew apart the other Tie-fighter as well. Around the same time, one of the enemy fighters on her tail was disabled by Nexo, but the other was still opening fire and pounding her rear shields. Valery gritted her teeth and moved into a sharp turn to make it harder for him to aim. She hoped that Nexo, who was inside a much more nimble fighter, could take advantage of it and disable the other too.

"I'm going to make an attack run to disable the freighter, can you keep them off me?" she asked before she pulled up and spun around to make a quick U-turn. She was now heading straight for the front of the freighter and fired one of her Jedi Shadow Bombs, which appeared like any normal proton torpedo. So while the freighter and those within the fighters were likely expecting a hit against the front side, she channeled the Force and in an instant, the bomb went up and over the ship, before sharply turning to slam into the engines.

A massive explosion followed, and Valery felt quite confident it had at least knocked out the hyperdrive for a while. There was, however, still the problem of the Tie-fighter being on her tail.

Nexo Nexo

Nexo looked up and over his shoulder as he zipped past Valery and the TIE that was trailing her "Pulling around." he replied. Turning the Vector around and accelerating back to engagement speed he quickly caught up to the X-Wing and its TIE assailant. As the silhouette of Valery's X-Wing was darkened in contrast to the explosive impact of her torpedo attack on the Brotherhood freighter, Nexo was able to acquire the TIE fighter's trajectory and predict it. With a single salvo of the Vector's lasercannons the TIE was stuck on both of the tresses that fasten the solar panels to the sphere. Two blue ripples flooded over the surface of the starfighter as all of its systems went offline "You're clear Master Noble."

Just then his Farsight alerted him to danger off his right side. Nexo quickly looked over to see the remaining TIE fighter furiously discharging its cannons at him. Nexo attempted to take evasive maneuvers though he was too late to avoid all of the incoming projectiles. With a loud wrenching noise a blacked, molten, hole pierced the left topside of his wing "I'm hit!" he declared as the Jedi Vector sped away from the TIE figher, who pursued with its signature speed.

Nexo intuitively knew the damage was minimal in terms of vital systems though his atmospheric stabilization would be hindered, which included the artificial gravity of hangars "Calm yourself Nexo." he whispered to himself "Just one left." the Jedi Knight could sense the TIE fighter was keeping pace and perhaps the pilot within was blood thirsty. There would have been no other reason for the TIE to abandon the freighter to the X-Wing still attacking it if not for revenge for his colleagues. Nexo considered his options and came to the conclusion that the TIE chasing him lacked the turning rate of the Vector, even though their forward speed and acceleration were very similar. If Nexo could get into a turning fight with the TIE he may be able to end up on its flank and in the advantageous position, strike it down.

With determination and a focused mind Nexo pushed one arm forward while he pulled one back towards him which caused the Vector to preform a shallow arcing turn. In response the TIE began to turn with him. In an attempt to stay in the best possible firing position the TIE had angled its arc slightly more shallow than Nexo's which allowed for the Vector, in one full rotation, to creep up behind the TIE. With the tables flipped the TIE fighter rolled several time and dove away from the Vector. All to late, as the Vector pitched downward in pursuit and intercepted the TIE fighter with two volleys of the lasercannons. The first having missed their mark but the second disabling the TIE entirely.

Nexo flew past the downed TIE and closed his eyes slightly as he let out a breath "Enemy squadron neutralized Master Noble. I'll regroup with you."

"I'm hit!"

It was the nightmare of any wing man to hear those words, but Valery kept herself calm and focused on the objective. Nexo's ship was still capable of flying, and he already found himself in a dogfight with the Tie-fighter responsible for his ship's damage. She trusted him to handle it, and he knew that she'd be there to help him if he really needed it. So again, Valery turned her targeting systems to the freighter and circled around for another attack run.

Her second Shadow Bomb was readied and with a simple flick of a switch, she fired it and took control over its propulsion and steering with the Force. This time, she aimed for the sub-light engines and blew them apart in another violent explosion that left the entire vessel stranded in space. Around the same time, Nexo had been able to outmaneuver the other Tie-fighter, and a series of well-placed shots left it disabled as well.

"Enemy squadron neutralized Master Noble. I'll regroup with you."

"Well done, I've got the freighter dead in the water," Valery responded while she allowed him to group up so they could head for the hangar together. "I suggest you land first, so you don't hit my ship on accident — that damaged wing can make landing a little chaotic," Valery said with a nod of her head.

Within the Hangar of the enemy freighter, droids and armed personnel were already waiting for them, so it was going to get chaotic either way. But she couldn't risk both of their ships getting damaged, so he was up first to make his landing.

"Understood." Nexo replied in a stoic tone. Beneath the serenity and focus he exuded there were ripples of doubt. Whatever was on in the inside of the hangar, which there was sure to be some form of security, could damage the unshielded Vector even more than it had been already. But the decision making was sound enough.

Nexo brought his starfighter in front of the X-Wing and slowly made his way through the atmospheric shield of the freighter's hangar. When the nose of the Vector peeked through the shield the ship was met by a flurry of blaster bolts originating from small-arms. Scorch marks and sparks billowed off of his ship's exterior. Once the damaged wing had cleared the shielding it sagged much lower than the opposite wing "Soldiers in the hangar, I'm trying to land it." he relayed to the Jedi Master.

With a sound of scraping metal against metal the Vector finally landed after dragging the wing across the hangar's floor. Now that it was secure on its landing gear Nexo hunkered down in his seat as blaster bolts impacted the transparisteel, his lightsaber hilt gripped in his right hand. Nexo's mind slipped from the intense focus he had been previously maintaining to fly the Vector. A small comfort and much needed respite before further combat. He could sense the number, more or less, of Mawites in the hangar. He knew if he was to have any chance of engaging them and surviving the ordeal he'd need the help of Valery "Landed! There are a lot of them. Nothing too crazy yet like rockets."

"Landed! There are a lot of them. Nothing too crazy yet like rockets."

"Understood, I'm coming in," Valery replied before she quickly pushed her stick forward and began her own approach. She doubted that they'd use rockets or heavier weapons — there was too much stuff inside a hangar that could explode or cause catastrophic damage to anybody inside. But as expected, the moment she entered the hangar there was a ton of blaster fire coming in, and it seemed as if her fellow Jedi was pinned down a little.

In response, Valery directed all power to shields, and made her landing without really taking any damage. The canopy sprung open and with an explosive jump, Valery positioned herself between the Mawites and Nexo's ship. The two violet blades of her double-bladed weapon ignited and began to twirl and rotate into fast patterns to deflect incoming fire.

"You should be cleared!" Valery called out, "Let's push forward!"

Hopefully with Nexo right behind her, Valery stepped forward and focused her deflections more. Initially, she had just been a shield to keep her fellow Jedi protected. But now, she was aiming the bolts to disable their weapons or take them down entirely. So one by one, Mawites began to fall, and Valery wasn't even on top of them yet.

Nexo Nexo

Nexo watched with an impressed grin as the Jedi Master soared into the air and began to make quick work of the incoming blaster bolts. The speed and skill in which Valery was deflected the bolts was something that Nexo was positive he would never be able to accomplish. That just wasn't where his talents were "Right behind you!" he called back in return as the Vector's canopy slid back and he rolled out from it with lightsaber in hand.

With the iconic sound of ignition a blue blade joined Valery on her periphery. Nexo looked back over his shoulder with his left hand outstretched. Drawing on the Force he turned his attention back towards their adversaries. And with his look his hand, along with a plastoid crate, followed. The white, astromech, sized container was flung towards the Mawite pirates. As a couple of them were knocked down when the container careened past them Nexo spoke loud enough to be heard over the sounds of battle "What's your plan, Master Noble? I don't have many boxes to throw at them!"

A plan?

Valery smirked and advanced several steps while she continued to deflect enemy blaster fire, "There is only one option, Knight Nexo," Valery said as she felt some relief now that she wasn't the only target, "We have to go through them," she continued, her pace quickening while her deflections grew more precise. Luckily, they weren't boarding a warship with thousands of soldiers stationed on board and ready to defend it.

This was a cargo ship, which meant its defenses were far more limited. If they broke through here, the rest would be a lot easier.

With an outstretched left hand, Valery connected with a group and telekinetically pulled their weapons from their hands, which left them stunned long enough for the Force to wrap around them and send them flying into the walls. Most of them weren't getting back up, but a few were trying to slowly climb back up to her feet.

"Let's move!" She called out, and now that she was close enough, the focus on defensive patterns shifted into an overwhelming flurry of attacks, sending several guards down to the deck. It was much harder for them to shoot without risking friendly fire as well, so the whole scene became a lot more chaotic very quickly. With enough pressure, it would only be a matter of time before they gave up and surrendered.

Nexo Nexo

Nexo had expected so much spontaneity from a Jedi Master, though he was glad for it and her skill whenever she took to the advance once again. With her disarming a great number of enemies and giving not only herself an opening to strike but also Nexo - who was far more suited to single combat than wading through a mass of blaster bolts "I'm with you." he replied to her encouraging order.

As Valery filled her vicinity with blurs of violet light, Nexo, took a more measured approach with a solid showing of Form I combat. As a mawite pirate rose from his position on the floor of the hangar, vibro-blade in hand, Nexo took a step backwards. His blue saber blade arcing upward and slicing the melee weapon in two, his stance shifted forward after the parry and brought the lightsaber downward onto the right shoulder of the pirate. Cleaving off the limb with the signature screeching noise of a saber through flesh, Nexo, pushed aside the disarmed pirate and lifted his blade to deflect a blaster bolt which originated from another pirate's stashed holdout blaster. The errant blaster bolt soared to the top of the hangar and sizzled against the interior. Nexo advanceed on the pirate, deflecting his blaster bolts with shallow movements, then struck the holdout blaster with his saber. The weapon was ruined and now Nexo held the pirate at saber point.

By now the other pirates engaged with Valery had surrendered and the two that Nexo had been engaged with had done the same, more or less "Master Noble." he didn't take his eyes off the pirate before him, he could sense that the Jedi Master had not fallen "What should we do with the captives?" perhaps there was a study cargo container and some lengths of chain, rope, or cargo straps?

Location: ANV Tython | Hangar
Ship: Link

Together with Nexo, it wasn't a difficult task to fight through the guards — they were relatively few in number, and they weren't equipped or trained to handle Jedi. Luckily, that also meant that when the situation grew so dire that they realized they couldn't win, they surrendered. Valery had been up against units before who wouldn't surrender, and fight until death, so it was a welcomed change of pace for her.

"Let's see if we can lock them up somewhere," Valery said in response while she made sure the last of the guards were disarmed, "My idea was to keep them there, and before we leave, we activate an emergency beacon on the ship. They'll be rescued but only after we're long gone with our mission completed." As brutal as the Maw was, she wasn't going to kill guards or people when it wasn't necessary at all. They were here for the artifacts, and as long as those were purged, that's all that mattered.

Her eyes then shifted to a cargo container in the hangar, "There, we'll put them in that and make sure the locks remain shut. They won't be stuck there for too long, so it should be fine." If Nexo agreed, she would get the captives to stand up and make their way into the container.

"We might run into some trouble along the way too, but if we move fast enough, I doubt we'll be in trouble leaving them behind on our path unconscious."

Nexo Nexo

Nexo had no reservations about Valery's plan and followed along and tried to help shepherding the captives into the cargo container. Once it was closed, Nexo, ignited his saber and made a series of cuts along the upper end of the sides of the crate. This was to allow airflow and prevent over heating, as well as to vent the smoke that came with melting metal. Nexo wasn't the tallest individual but hopefully the slots were high enough for most of the pirates. Nexo put his lightsaber back onto his belt and turned to look at Valery "Hopefully most of our potential problems are safely stored within that container." he motioned to the cargo container that the two Jedi had just filled with pirates from the hangar.

The Jedi Knight walked towards the closed airlock of the hangar and put his hand on the door. Shutting his eyes to focus his mind he examined it the best he could through the Force "I don't sense anything on the other side, but it is locked." the Zabrak took a step back and with a flick of his hands he knocked the sleeves from around his hands backwards a bit. Nexo pushed forward with both of his hands slowly then lifted the left into the air while turning his righthand. The door made a buzzing noise as mechanisms turned against their electronic commands. Nexo's face became strained, his left hand holding above his hand while his right continued to slowly rotate until a series of dull thuds could be heard. Probably the holding bolts receding into their recesses. The airlock flashed a greenlight above the threshold and the door slide open on both sides.

Nexo lowered his hands and took several shaky breathes "A bit tighter than I expected. In a few more years I don't think that little trick will work anymore." security technology continually evolved and there was no doubt that companies were aware of Force users bypassing their systems in unique ways "After you." he motioned forward towards the light corridor, still catching his breath.

With the captives secured, Valery turned away from the container and followed Nexo to the airlock door they had to get through. Much like him, she sensed no presence on the opposite side of the door, so there was no real need to be on high alert anymore. There were likely a few more guards near the storage rooms, but they wouldn't be a problem.

Nexo then stepped back, and Valery just quietly watched while he turned to the Force to manipulate the locking mechanisms. She could hear them shift and after a moment or two, the door slid open on both sides.

"Still a nice trick. My methods would have been a little more... destructive," she flashed a smirk and passed through the open doors to take point again. But as soon as she reached the next hallway, Valery stopped and closed her eyes to commune with the Force. She had no interest in taking control of the ship, so reaching the bridge wasn't necessary.

She was looking for something darker.

"Have you dealt with Dark Side artifacts before, Knight Nexo?" Valery then asked once she began moving again. "They can be incredibly invasive, so please make sure to shield your mind. I'll do my best to purge them as quickly as I can, but it will take some effort - I'd like you to cover me while I do it."

Nexo stood aside as the Jedi Master walked past him into the hallway. When she stopped, he stopped, and only spoke whenever she asked him about relics tainted by the Dark Side "No, I haven't had the displeasure." he admitted "The majority of my Padawan training took place in starships, space stations, or starports. Though I will do the best I can to resist them. Whatever protection you need I'll give you." dutiful as ever Nexo followed close behind the Human.

As the duo made their way through the corridors of the freighter, Nexo, sensed danger "Hyagh!" shouted a previously unseen pirate who dashed out with a fist clenched around the blurring blade of a vibro-knuckler. The Jedi Knight pushed Valery forward with his right hand as his left grabbed at the wrist of the pirate. Both of them went down to the ground with the pirate on top of Nexo. Both of Nexo's hands were now occupied with the pirate. His left was still pushing back the weapon wielding right hand of the pirate while his own right hand was clasped around the throat of his attacker "Ngh." he muttered behind clenched teeth "A little help!"

"If you feel the artifacts we encounter are too overpowering, let me know immediately," Valery said with a nod. She had a feeling that those on this ship weren't too dangerous, or the people working here would have been affected, but she had to play it safe. She had seen what can happen when Jedi lose their control to the influences of dark side tainted objects, and she wasn't looking for a repeat.

"They should be right up ah-" she stopped as the sound of a Maw pirate jumping from hiding drew her attention, but Nexo was quick to act and pushed her forward, out of reach for the pirate. Instead, the two got into a clash that brought them down to the ground, the pirate on top and still with a knife in his hand that he tried to shove into the Zabrak.

"A little help!"

He didn't have to ask twice — very abruptly, it felt as if the pirate had lost all his strength. He no longer pushed down his knife and his entire body seemed frozen, which clearly surprised him a lot. His eyes shifted from side to side to figure out what was going on, but it became rather obvious when Valery made an upwards wrapping motion with her fingers to lift the pirate up and off of her fellow Jedi.

"You okay?" she asked before she stepped closed and threw a powerful punch to the man's jaw to knock him unconscious, before lowering him to the floor. "Thanks for the help, there are probably more of them so we'll have to be on our guard."

Nexo gritted his teeth as he struggled against the bold pirate. His plea for aid was not unanswered though, as he expected, and the pirate was hoisted off of him - then promptly knocked out! "Yes. Thank you." he said as he got to his feet and smoothed out his garb "Yes I'd expect that they're sulking about." Nexo motioned forward down the corridor "In any case, as you were saying, we need to get rid of these relics. Hopefully we'll get there without too much more distraction."

The Jedi Knight followed the Jedi Master on their trek through the freighter until the pair came across a restricted access door. Instead of using the Force to pry open the door like he had done in the hangar, Nexo simply ignited his lightsaber and cut a molten rectangle into the surface then kicked the sheet free "A door in a door. Sounds like a Jedi proverb!" he teased in a light hearted manner as he stowed his lightsaber hilt back on his belt then motioned the Jedi Master inside. She'd probably have to duck a bit and step over a molten seam "I'm not sure what we'll be seeing in there but I'll be right behind you. I'd think with all the racket we've made so far any pirates still wanting to fight have probably gathered up to come find us - or at least that's what I'd do in their boots."
