Approved Armor Rachne R-D30.1 Daemon Assault Armor

Dominique Vexx has directed her company, Rachne Industries, to create armor for a new initiative, CTRLd. The R-D30.1 Daemon armor is intended to provide protection for general assault or infranty officers in the field against the most common weaponry or hazards in the galaxy -- blasters, blunt force trauma, explosive forces, and slugthrowers. While not capable of negating the lethal power of these threats, the armor can significantly increase the likelihood of officers receiving medical treatment and surviving in the worst case scenario, or remaining on their feet and advancing into the enemy lines far longer than a standard infantryman.

The armor's greatest weaknesses are lightsabers and vibroblades, both are active melee weaponry that can slice through a wide range of materials or provide a directed and sustained blow rapidly eating away at the armor. The explosive and concussive force and slugthrower protections are substantial, but weaker along the limbs, which may result in increase frequency of injury in those areas. Both of these are necessary tradeoffs for weight, material, and combat performance.

Both CTRLd and this line of armor were created to address observed shortcomings in CorpSec training and equipment. With the increase in threats within reach of Denon itself, Director Vexx has taken upon it to address her planet's defenses personally in coordination with a few other interested parties.

• Modular: Utility Belt :: Store small items such as stim packs, medpacs, grenades, and more.
• Modular: Backpack :: Store larger items such as bulk ammunition, additional weaponry, survival gear, and more.
• Heads Up Display :: Allows remote viewing, recording, and zooming in on the visual scene in front of the wearer. It also provides atmospheric and environmental conditions, direction, information regarding the suit's status (including reserve air remaining), and warnings of health abnormalities of the wearer (such as high heart rate).
• Polarizing Visor :: Protects the wearer's eyes from sudden exposure to bright lights, including flashbangs, when not in night vision mode.
• Night Vision Visor :: Enables the wearer to switch to low-light/no-light mode to stalk quarry even in complete darkness.
• Encrypted Transmitter/Receiver :: Secure remote communication with fellow Imperium officers and nearby Command.
• Local Communication :: A vocabulator and annunciator allow the wearer to communicate with nearby lifeforms openly and freely.

• Blaster Fire :: General electrical discharges are distributed across the surface of the suit and dissipated, reducing or eliminating harm to the wearer especially in the wearer's core depending on the nature and power of the attack.
• Concussive Forces, Explosives, & Slugthrowers :: The armor provides protection against sudden impacts or forces, including the more localized impacts of slugs. This protection is largely confined to the wearer's center mass and helmet for survival purposes. Resistance is considerably weaker along the limbs.

• Lightsabers & Vibroblades :: Active melee weaponry can deal the greatest damage to wearers. Officers are advised to pacify assailants before they close the distance.
• Concussive Forces, Explosives, & Slugthrowers :: Powerful or strong forces can easily pierce the armor of the limbs, which may require immediate medical attention in order to survive.
