PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Quadruplet ion engines
  • Strong shields
  • Advanced Targeting System

STRENGTHS
  • Firepower: The Qie fighters are designed to be particularly useful for the Jedi, who can use their senses to be far more accurate. To benefit from this, the energy system and weapon-tuning onboard were designed to re-route a substantial amount of power to the weapons in attack position, thus giving the pilots a great deal of firepower to work with.
  • S-foils: The two S-foil settings allow the pilots a lot of flexibility. In the closed position, they can be fast and maneuvrable to escape or intercept targets. While in attack position, they possess the firepower to be effective in combat.

WEAKNESSES

  • S-foils: With the S-foils locked in the closed position, all power is drained away from the weapons. If the ships are caught in combat or in an ambush where they are not in attack position, they will have no way to return fire.
  • Weapon-tuning: While the heavy tuning of the weapons results in great firepower, they can quickly overheat if they are managed poorly. Long sustained bursts are therefore not recommended. In extreme cases, the intense heat will affect the metal the weapons are made of as well.

Description
The Quadruplet ion engines fighter or Qie fighter for short is the attempt of the Brotherhood of the Maw on making a durable and powerful fighter and it paid off by a lot. With its 4 ion engines, the fighter is able to surpass the X-wing in speed and is able to take a beating with its deflector shields and fight other fighters and even small capital ships with its weapon.

Welcome to the factory, I'll be your judge today.
  • Image Source, you need to link the page where you find the picture, and from the original artist if that is possible. So please use this link.
  • You forgot to add the Maneuverability rating, please fix this.
  • And as I see your ratings are very overpowered (even without the Maneuverability).
  • The weaknesses, please add 1 or 2 PvP relevant weakness to your submission. The strength and weaknesses need to be nearly balanced.
  • And you need to add the Description to your template, you cannot miss this. So please fix this too.
    DESCRIPTION
(Describe some of the history behind the submission. Please provide a detailed account or link of each special feature that is listed in this submission. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. This is where you talk about your idea, flesh it out over at least a good-sized paragraph, and address some of the ways it might be used or abused. All miscellaneous descriptive elements go here, such as Cargo Capacity, Passengers, Consumables, Crew, etc. For especially powerful or ambitious submissions, a very thorough description is recommended.)
If you have any question, or do you need any help, please let me know in this thread.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a Droid starfighter for the Brotherhood of the Maw
  • Canon Link: Here
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: TIE/d "Defender" Multi-Role Starfighter
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Starfighter
  • Length: 9.2 meters
  • Armament: Extreme
    • 4 Heavy Repeating Laser Cannons
    • 2 Variable Ordinance Pods
      • 4 Proton torpedos
      • 4 Intruder missiles
  • Defenses: High
  • Squadron Count: Avarage | 12
  • Maneuverability: 110 DPF
  • Speed Rating: Fast (1,350 km/h)
  • Hyperdrive Class: None
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Advanced droid brain
  • Strong shields
  • Advanced Targeting System
  • Powerful engines

STRENGTHS
  • Heavy pounder
The Qie Droid fighter is able to fight most ships using its payload of missiles and proton torpedos and is most effective when in squadrons.

  • Shields
Unlike other Droid starfighters the heavy shielding of the Qie droid fighter provides it with an extra layer of protection against enemies

  • I'm faster frick boi
The Qie droid's Engines are the most powerful engines in the entire galaxy, the only ship that could compare to the ship in speed is the First's galactic empire's Tie Defender.

WEAKNESSES

  • Their droid brains lack any sort of tactical acumen or other higher thinking capacity. Their primary tactic in battle is to simply rush the enemy and attempt to overwhelm them with their speed, agility and high rate of powerful weapons.
  • Lack of an inbuilt hyperdrive system necessitates traveling on a hyperdrive-equipped carrier ship. This reduces their overall tactical and strategic viability as starfighters.

  • First, please remove it from the qoute tag.
  • Maneuverability: 110 DPF - you need to give a proper rating here (see below)
  • Speed Rating: Fast (1,350 km/h) - There is no Fast rating (see below)
  • This is the template, and the coloured ratings are the valid names/values:
    • Armament: (You may provide your armament in list format and must provide your vessel an Armament Rating. (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. Armament Ratings are scaled in relation to the class of ship, meaning a Starfighter will not equate to a Destroyer.Armament Ratings provide only basic weaponry (ex. turbolasers, ion cannons, concussion missiles. laser cannons, etc) unless the ship also has a description of weapons. Please link to all Factory subs used. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology)
    • Defenses: (You may provide your shield and armor systems in list format and must provide your vessel a Defense Rating. (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. Where None is a man in a space suit hanging on to an engine, Average is typical defense, and Extreme is heaviest defense with heavy armor plating and multiple layers of powerful shields. Defensive Ratings are scaled in relation to the type of ship, meaning a Starfighter will not equate to a Destroyer. You should list particular systems under advanced systems. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Approved Technology)
    • Squadron Count: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission would have in a squadron. The average squadron for any starfighter is 12, at lengths averaging 12.5 meters. The bigger the fighter, the smaller your Squadron Count should be. The smaller the fighter, the bigger your Squadron count can be. [None: 1 | Very Low: 4 | Low: 8 | Average: 12 | High: 16 | Very High: 20 | Extreme: 24 ] Squadron Sizes may be listed as just the rating.)
    • Maneuverability Rating: (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. How agile is your ship? Can it take tight turns? This is relative to the size of the vessel (e.g. a Corvette with Low Maneuverability will be more agile than a Star Destroyer with a Low rating.
    • Speed Rating: (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. How fast is your ship in normal space? How fast can it take off, how fast can it speed through a planet's atmosphere? This is relative to the size of the vessel (e.g. a Corvette with Low Speed will be quicker than a Star Destroyer with a Low Speed.)
  • A little help about the ratings:
    • Production: Unique (-4 points), Semi-unique (-3 points), Limited (-2 points), Minor (-1 point), Mass-production (0 point)
    • Armament: None (-3 points), Very Low (-2 points), Low (-1 point), Average (0 point), High (+1 point), Very High (+2 poiints), Extreme (+3 points)
    • Defences: None (-3 points), Very Low (-2 points), Low (-1 point), Average (0 point), High (+1 point), Very High (+2 poiints), Extreme (+3 points)
    • Squadron Count: None (-3 points), Very Low (-2 points), Low (-1 point), Average (0 point), High (+1 point), Very High (+2 poiints), Extreme (+3 points)
    • Maneuverability Rating: None (-3 points), Very Low (-2 points), Low (-1 point), Average (0 point), High (+1 point), Very High (+2 poiints), Extreme (+3 points)
    • Speed Rating: None (-3 points), Very Low (-2 points), Low (-1 point), Average (0 point), High (+1 point), Very High (+2 poiints), Extreme (+3 points)
  • We look at these numbers while we judging the subs, and you need to keep them in balance. It can never go above 0, it can stay below, but never above. And the hyperdrive is not counted in the ratings. So please rework your ratings with this.
  • And you still not added the Description part to your submission.
If you have any question, feel free to ask here, in the topic.
