OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 31
  • Force Sensitivity: Knight
  • Species: Mirialan
  • Appearance: Purin had black hair with a sharp bowl-like styling. Her eyes were dark brown and stood in contrast to her bright green skin which was marked by a few cultural Mirialan tattoos on the chin. She often wore long robes with minimal armoured protection - even on the field of battle. Instead, she mainly relied on her nimble and perhaps even lithe body to evade dangerous attacks. Standing at a height of 0,00167 kilometres, she rarely stuck out of a crowd and just like her height many of her other features can be considered average. Upon her death, she had a large and gruesome sabre-mark by her abdominal area.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Jedi Knight Purin Mill Se-Loach
  • Loyalties: Silver Jedi Concord
  • Wealth: When alive, her total personal wealth was slightly below average as she often donated what she could in order to help fund medical research on Manaan.
  • Notable Possessions: A lightsabre with a green blade (lost upon death).
  • Skills: This Jedi Knight specialised in Form VI, Niman and was highly proficient in telekinesis and force light.
  • Personality: Purin was soft spoken, calm and often seemed to carry a serene aura. She did not have a great sense of humour but often found clumsiness to be amusing, regardless of whether it was herself or someone else who was clumsy. She enjoyed philanthropical endeavours and invested much of her time in skills in promoting public health on Ruusan
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: The Force, primarily but also comfortable with a lightsabre.
  • Combat Function: While her focus was, primarily, set on supporting her allies through the use of the Force, Purin could also fill a frontline function serving with troops and was adequate at duels. In an optimal scenario, she would avoid catching the attention of her foes and use telekinetic attacks against them but would not shy away from charging into the fray to save an ally by shielding them with her lightsabre.
Strengths:
  • Strong Force affinity: This Mirialan has a strong connection to the force. Using it to produce powerful effects is easy for her.
  • Nimble: Quick and nimble - Purin is good at avoiding attacks and getting into small spaces where others might not fit.
Weaknesses:
  • Not a combat specialist: With much of her time devoted to philanthropy, the Knight has spent less time practicing her skill in combat than those who have focused on it. This is reflected in her abilities on the field of battle.
  • Too laid back: Some grow overly anxious during battle, but not Purin. She remains calm and can even be too calm at times, making her less likely to react quickly enough to threats and even less likely to see a threat before it becomes too late.
  • Dead: Being dead is pretty bad.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Commenor - it was where she grew up. Born to two loving parents, Purin remembered her childhood fondly. With one parent working as a teacher and the other a shoemaker, she learned of how important it was to work with diligence and care. The Se-Loach family often travelled out to the countryside during weekends and days off. There, they often found peace, wandering the forests and camping by the lakes. It is no wonder that the young Mirialan learned how best to forage the woods for berries or where and when to go to have a successful fishing trip from an early age.

Being a fair and decent individual, the girl got along well with other children and was quick to bond with them. In no small part, this was due to her compassionate nature - something which would be a recurring theme throughout her life.

It was devastating at first - both to young Purin and to her parents. The girl was force sensitive and they knew that the best place for her to grow up would be with the Silver Jedi Order. With heavy hearts and many tears, the family parted ways - but there was no anger or resentment in the separation. It was something which all of them had agreed was for the best, both for Purin and those whom she could undoubtedly help in the future.

Over the years, she proved to be a good student who had an easy time grasping complicated concepts related to the force. It was at that time she decided to dedicate most of her time to the mysteries of the force. With a calm and almost serene nature to her character, Purin was well suited for this specialisation as she was remarkably well in tune with the light side of the force.

As many of her peers, the Mirialan's main interest was outside of combat. She loved helping people in need and while she was not rich, she often donated relatively large parts of her wealth for what she deemed to be good causes. Not only did she help through impersonal donations but she often paused her studies or refrained from taking on other assignments in order to travel to help communities in need herself.

With time, she became a capable healer and learned how to make things work through creative uses of the force. Eventually, she seemed to have found her place among the local populations of Ruusan which became the planet she often returned to and referred to as home. Well respected and appreciated among large swaths of the population where she had worked, Purin still remained humble and kept working for her cause. She never gave up on the idea of offering to others, what was her own.

Naturally, the Knight responded to the call when the Silver Jedi Order needed her. It was the reason behind her going to Onderon in the first place. It was there that she died in battle, valiantly defending against the onslaught of the Sith. While her opponent was not all too impressed by her performance and her seemingly lacklustre abilities with the lightsabre, her legacy lived on. Feeling a call for him to use it, Mathieu Brion picked up her lightsabre - something which probably saved him from an early grave more than once.

Many would mourn Purin's death. But all was not in vain. Many of the projects she had started or taken part of lived on and she had inspired many to act more empathetically to one another. While the idea of a statue was entertained among some Ruusan communities, the idea was ultimately dismissed - Purin Mill Se-Loach would never have wanted it. The continued work to better the lives of those in need would have been enough for her, and so, that was how they decided to honour her memory.
