Behavioural Assessment:

Subject 39, since given the name of Khel, is quite markedly different from the Jedi Knight who he is a modified clone of. While he possesses the same sense of loyalty and devotion as the original man did, it has been twisted to the service of Sith ideology, which has turned Khel into a twisted parody of Jace Khel. Where Jace was compassionate, Subject 39 is cruel; where Jace was an impassioned young man, his clone is a cold, calculating creature.

Sugject 39 holds no care for the lives of other beings, putting him, at times, at odds with his creator, Tsisaar Taral. Where Tsisaar would seek to preserve an enemy and turn them to his services, Subject 39 seeks only to destroy his enemies. Indeed, he seeks the oblivion of all things; those lesser than him, those currently greater, his master, and even himself. The use of Sith Alchemy in preparing the body to house a strong presence in the Force has twisted his mind so completely that, while he still holds Jace Khel's devotion towards the concept of peace, it is a peace that can only be achieved by the eradication of all things capable of causing disturbance.

In battle, Subject 39 generally focuses on directing others, staying out of the fighting himself, and if he is forced to engage in combat, he usually does so through the Force. However, when all other methods fail, he will—at long last—draw his lightsaber, engaging in a furious display of Form V lightsaber combat. During battle, he is also known to fall into a Force Rage, intentionally just as often as not; contrary to the normal perception, this does not diminish his mental capacities for the increase in combat ability, and he generally maintains powerful control over himself while raging, likely due to his alchemically-enhanced nature.

Biographical Report:

While he possesses all the knowledge and memories that Tsisaar Taral was able to rend from Jace Khel's mind after capturing the Jedi, and can thus provide a feasible imitation of the man, Subject 39's own life has been quite short. Crafted as a tool by Tsisaar Taral, he was aged to full adulthood quite quickly, before Tsisaar was able to use alchemical means to halt the accelerated rate of growth. During his short time of growth prior to being released from the cloning tank, Tsisaar utilized the Force to implant quite a bit of knowledge into his memory, such as Jace Khel's life and an assessment of his personality, how to perform various Force abilities, knowledge of Form V lightsaber combat that was pulled from other sources, and various other useful skills and experiences for the clone.

After that, his time was spent in training with Tsisaar, giving him enough experience to actually effectively use the abilities that had been imparted to him, though much of his combat skill especially is noted to be somewhat robotic. After Tsisaar's seeming death, Subject 39, going by the name of Khel, came out of the shadows to take control of Tsisaar's ship, with modified Sith-Imperial records stating that 'Jace Khel' had passed his training and re-education at one of the academies before being assigned to captain the ship.
