The Winter Winds always blew North.

There were something on Vandor, some things in the Galaxy, that were ever-present constants. The ebb and flow of the Force. The ebb and flow between peace, and conflict. There were those who chose to respond to that ebb and flow by trying to control it, to throttle it, reign it in, and deem it theirs to command. Such were the ways of those collectively termed as 'Dark Siders'; but those who followed a different path, of trusting in the Force to right wrong and straying from violence, instead looking to make peace and conciliation wherever possible, they were those who followed the Light.

The Knights Obsidian was unique among the Force Using sects of the galaxy in that they did not prescribe to one ideology or belief when it came to the usage and practice of the Force. While other religions adhered to their dogma to the point of inciting needless, and in many cases hypocritical conflict, the Knights Obsidian united those of different faiths, promising tolerance so long as you used your powers towards the common defense and service of the Confederacy. Yet in this microcosm of Force Users, they had almost organically been divided by the traditional lines of Light, Dark, and in between. Some decried this as opposite towards the goal of the Knights Obsidian, while others -- including Beric Layne -- instead saw polarization as a source for Mastery and enlightenment. Let not those who wished to only practice the Light be forced to use the Dark, and vice versa. And should some side of the Force seek them out, then it would; and any attempts to thwart such fate would ultimately be wasted effort.

In the aftermath of the Eye, the numbers of those who served in the Knights Obsidian had been reduced to a fraction of a percent of their former strength, so great had the cataclysm been. And in that aftermath, one Obsidian Lord -- Beric Layne, both Lord of Frosthall and the Knights Obsidian -- had decided to issue a call to those remaining who adhered to the Light to gather on Frosthall, to review their numbers and to reaffirm their committment towards the peace and defense of the Confederacy.

And perhaps some drinking, good hard-brewed Vandorian ale for all except his apprentice -- for Millu was still on probation after the Vettr Nacht incident.

Raz walks off the hovertrain in his tranquility armor and a recently purchased cheap but functional set of thermal clothes and a thick coat, looking around at the beautifully wrought stone and the snow covered roofs with a slight smile. The beauty of the place might once have been lost on him when he was younger, but now he understood. Taking his time, he wanders the streets for a bit before finally pausing to ask a passing stranger directions to a tavern or inn. The stranger gives him a very quick once over, as if assessing his character, before answering in a polite but slightly distanced tone.

“Ah, the place you want is the Drunk Luftgriff, best drinking hall in town.” The citizen follows with a set of directions. Raz smiles.

“Thank you sir. May the Force guide you.” He gives the traditional farewell and blessing of the Jedi and inclines his head before heading off in the direction indicated by the passerby.

It takes him a few minutes to make it to his destination, not because it was an especially long walk, but because he chose to take his time and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city, When he finally does reach the multi level building, he heads in and sits in a corner, ordering ale and a bit of local fare to eat while he waits. He may be a jedi, but that did not mean he would turn his nose up at such tempting creature comforts. Besides, the material world was as much woven with the force as the immaterial. Enjoying his meal, the golden eyed sith hybrid watches the crowd in the tavern as a casual observer, clearly open to conversation. He had time before the meeting after all, and he had always found one could learn quite a bit talking to locals in a crowded tavern.

The lupine was never one to impose himself on a gathering, but the days when he could remain in the shadows were over. Many of the previous Lord Commanders led from from the council chamber, or were the visible champion on the field. Gerwald had no recollection of a personal relationship with any during their time in office save for the miraluka which had been his predecessor. Voph had since disappeared on his own mission, one which took him places no one could follow. Only few knew him like Gerwald had, and even then the Master Obsidian did not think he knew him well.

Gerwald desired to be different. Not only did he lead by example, but he wanted to be visible to all that followed him. That started by attending social functions, or even meetings which did not have to include him. He could observe mostly, and perhaps learn more about what made his brethren in the Lotus Chapter tick. He did not understand the light side of the force. From the moment he had become a Knight all of those who had instructed him were dark sider practitioners. The wolf himself had learned balance from his last master, a mastery of his passions which allowed him to access things neither light or dark could master alone.

His footsteps echoed through the open courtyard of the castle. Beric had always been known to be an over eager host. The last event held on these grounds had seen his own squire cause quite the ruckus. The wolf chuckled aloud as he recalled the reports which had come across his desk. It seemed the Force Master had met his match in personality. The young squire was a handful at times, just what Beric needed to keep him humble.

“Beric Layne,” Gerwald’s baritone echoed through the hall. “You boast about your ales and your meads in this world. Show yourself and bring your best!”

There was much about the blustery north which reminded the wolf of his home on Stewjon. Most places the lupine would not enter with such a scene or bellow to his voice. This place brought the uncultured barbarian out of him. There was no need for manners when Gerwald was not there to be the Lord Commander, but simply himself. Even though the title would always follow him wherever he went, the wolf would do his best to simply be Gerwald Lechner.

His hair whipped about him as the wind blew past him from behind as the doors behind him came to a close. The scent of the very booze he called for was on the air to those with a discerning nose like a lupine had. He would simply follow the scent until he found the man he was looking for.

“Beric! Your finest! I will personally see your coffers reimbursed for it!”

Gerwald looked around, presuming he was early.

“There are more coming, yes,” the wolf asked, unaware another had already been present in the city.

Sitting at the bar with his forehead slightly covered from the less than comforting temperature, Kipp loosens his lips to the Blue Bantha he was desperate to try. While receding the dark brown fur hood he nods to the bartender and sips the light blue liquid. He was a fan of spirits..And living in a galaxy where creations and recipes were endless..who could not? He slid over the cred due and looked around the bar and at it's patrons. While waiting to see about a meet he heard of, Kipp's eyes briefly locked onto Raz Asai'il Raz Asai'il . He nodded quickly and with observation as to who Raz was. He had seen a Sith before..Hybrids as well..and to see him here was a delight. Kipp knew they weren't all bad..despite tales told. Not familiar with anyone there..He left the invitation open to talk..but was content observing in silence as a few others had done around the bar. Kipp focused on his journey..thinking about what really led him here and his future which is currently open to so many paths.

ARRIVAL

Clack. Clack. Clack.

Mere months ago, such a voyage would have been outside the realm of possibility for the Jedi. Exposing his body to the extreme cold of the mountainous Frosthall would have been ill-advised. Yet now, through the wonders of technology and the Force, Josiah was effectively whole. He was still a far cry from his prime, but he was well enough that his entire person did not cry out whenever movement was required. The journey ahead was still long, but for now, the Jedi had resolved to stand on his own two feet. The Cataclysm had robbed him of much. Of his strength. Of his ability to fight. The circumstances were maddening - yet in the madness, there was humility.

Josiah had come to terms with the fact that his abilities had an expiration date. That, though he would always raise his saber in the name of what was right, there might come a time when his arm was simply unable to move. Fortunately enough, that time was no longer upon him.

In the wake of the Cataclysm, the Jedi had resigned his post as an Obsidian Lord. Being physically unable to serve meant that occupying the seat was doing a disservice to the Knighthood. It was far better that someone capable rise to the occasion - and that one was named Beric Layne. Young. Regal. The Lord of Vandor had the potential to bring about much good for the southern systems. This day, Josiah would visit the Halls of the Vandorian monarch. And in doing so, see with his own eyes the merit of the next generation.

Aided by a staff, Josiah slowly strode within the warmth of the palace. He paused, only to lower his hood. His graying features were revealed to the firelight, and he advanced - eager to meet the surviving Lightbearers of the South.

There were Jedi, or Light Side Force Users, gathering in a pub. Dreidi did think that most of them likely wouldn't approve of the young teenager appearing at what was clearly an adult meeting but she had been invited. Perhaps by error, perhaps it was meant for her Master but she couldn't be sure. Instead she just didn't mention it to Asaraa, who was clearly busy elsewhere and didn't need to be bothered by something like a gathering of drunken Jedi. No, no, that was more something that Dreidi could attend on her own.

Letting her long hair fall down naturally with a Padawan braid tucked behind her ear. She was wearing her favourite band's t-shirt, plaid shirt tied around her waist, ready to be put on if it gets cold, and her favourite ripped jeans. She was wearing headphones, listening to her music as she wandered from her room, trying to listen to the beats and get a feel for the rhythm, her instructor told her that listening to music and trying to understand what was happening as you listened was a good way to learn while you can't play or sing. Her guitar skills were improving, she was struggling with the finger movements and hitting the chords right.

Dreidi listened to the beats, not paying too much attention to others around her as she moved around, her head gently bobbing in time with the music as it blared. She hadn't been to the location before but she figured it must be pretty chill to have CIS Light Siders, more chill than the Jedi from outside the faction she had been talking with lately. Humming gently to herself, she looked around the place, it was chilly, perhaps she should have brought a jacket not just a shirt... Sighing, she couldn't go back home and grab something, home was a bit far away and getting back likely meant she would miss all of the fun, she just had to swallow her shivers and look for somewhere warm.

In the meantime, she danced a little as she tried to keep warm.

Kipp turned slightly peering over his left shoulder to the arrival of the woman Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic . With her concentrated glare he smiles and waved. Kipp relaxed his shoulders..feeling the comfort of the pub around him as it began to warm up slightly. He would nod with a smile as he knew neither her or anyone in the pub as of yet. But as the chatter began to grow slightly he knew perhaps it was time to mingle. Something told him he would be in the presence of fellow light users for some time. Scanning the room again while clearing his glass of the blue bantha he sees Josiah Josiah . Based off of observation this was a man with a tale to tell for sure. Kipp was a mixture of humility and confidence. Now was the time..in his opinion to show respect..especially to those who clearly came before him. He walks over towards Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic with a smile as his furry pelt of a hood rested on his shoulders. "Greetings! Kipp Lansen." He spoke with clarity and with an undertone that was soothing and clear enough to slip under the sounds that would emit from her headphones. "Any idea what we are gathered here for? I'm normally not one for surprises!" He chuckles slightly.

It had been some time since Eenia had stepped away on her own. She had been left behind a time or two sure, but she had not stood up and left Naboo on her own, at least not until now. She was fairly new to the Lotus, but word about this gathering had reached even her, and curiosity had done the convincing needed to talk her into making the journey. Others like her, who basked in the Light (or at least seemed to embrace and/or shine with it) would be here. Throughout the entirety of her experience with the Force, there hadn't been a time when she was surrounded by those who were like her. Jedi who embraced the Light in a neutral way sure, but this was different. At least to Nia.

Besides, if she was going to work with the Knights, it was probably best to meet the other members of the Lotus chapter.

She had not left without at least telling Dimitri Voltura where she was going. She may have still been a touch salty with him, but she was not dumb enough to simply take off and disappear without word. The blonde had also made it known that he could join her if he wanted, but did not force the matter nor did she pout or fuss one way or the other. Nia had merely left the invitation open considering his usually busy schedule, and then had made her own way.

This was not the first time she had come to this place either, though the last time she recalled a much larger scale celebration going on. And she had felt much, much more out of place in the galaxy. Now however, she strode her way into the grand castle, curiosity and awe leading her by the tip end of her nose as her gaze swept about. The heavy coat she had been wearing was pulled from her shoulders and draped across her arms, and while her feet carried her towards the sound of voices, her gaze continued to wander.

Never in all of Eenia's days would she have ever expected to see so many grand places. Life had been so simple before she and her sister had been taken from their home. So many things had changed, so many paths had opened and closed, and now here she was. Stood within a grand castle, amidst those who were surely more powerful than her and capable of (eventually...possibly) teaching her so many things.

"Life is so strange..." she murmured to herself, then settled out of the way to wait for others to arrive.

A pale hand lifted itself up to the entrance to the tavern and with some effort pushed the doors open. Axile was unaware as to whether or not he would be the first, last or somewhere in-between the two to enter. Nevertheless he had made it from his humble abode in Theed to this little slice of Vandor to meet with the other members of the Obsidian Order, and for the first time too. He was new both to this place; to the members of the Order; and to the upper echelons of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Up until recently he had been a fair and humble Naboobian who had set his goal in life to avoid the catastrophes that had affected him in the past by helping those who were in need.

Specifically he enjoyed the mantra of the Confederacy. He was here to promote freedom. But to be free sometimes you needed to fight, and so naturally the Obsidian Order was an organization in the Confederacy that could achieve this. So, after arriving by hovertrain, and making his way to the tavern by foot did the man by the name of Axile Volzap arrive to meet the Obsidian Order to the first time. Making his way to where the others had gathered Axile paused nearby, and begin his introduction.

"I am Axile Volzap of Theed. Nice to meet you all."

A party! Well, not exactly a party, but a gathering of lightsiders. Beric, always the ever-so-proud host that he was, had arranged for a Knights Obsidian meeting to happen at Frosthall. And Millu, being the ever-so-well-behaved apprentice that she was, just couldn't wait to meet new and old friends and have a jolly good time.

Of course, drinks were still off the table for now, as her probation time still hadn't ended, and she suspected it wouldn't end too soon. But she could still talk to people and have some fun. Also, maybe her master would find the time to teach her one or two of his tricks, Millu needed every last bit of training she could get.

The girl left her room early in the evening, clad in a flowy gray dress and some warm pants, with a light gray cape thrown over her shoulders, to keep her warm. The dress' cut was one of her favorites, and made her look put together while also being flowy enough to allow for plenty movement if she wanted to spar or something like that. That, along with keeping her warm- was what the pants were for.

Millu followed what she could sense of her master's signature to the Entrance Hall, where upon sighting him, she quickly made her way to Beric's side.
"Evening, Master! Has anyone arrived yet? Do you have any idea of who'll be here? What exactly will we be doing tonight? I mean, I know she's not light side, but is there any chance your girlfriend'll come? What level of official did you make this invitation? Is anyone important coming?"

She almost had to catch a breath after all that questioning.

For most parts of Vandor's long, nearly year-round Winter, Frosthall received very little visitors. There had been a few, over the course of time. Of course, Vettr Nacht had been quite the affair of foreign guests to the small capital, as had Valborg Notte before it, but events like that had generally been the exception, not the rule.

But now it seemed that more Light-adherent users had answered Beric's summons, quite a few more than he had expected. And of course, with all the excitement, his apprentice Millu was so abuzz that one could honestly mistake her to be under the influence of some illicit narcotic. As he sensed her walk into the entrance hall of the castle from behind him, he realized that he didn't even need the Force to sense her presence; her flurry of questions and rapid cadence were unmistakable. "No, no, we'll see, no, not quite official at all, and again, we'll see," Beric answered in a slightly exasperated but patient tone. At least she wasn't the moody self she'd been for a while now, after Beric had imposed some punishments after the Vettr Nacht incident. "Now quiet. A Lord must know how to properly greet their guests."

His timing was all too appropriate, as not a moment's later not a simple Obsidian Knight strode through clanging entrance doors, but the Lord Commander himself, Gerwald Lechner, who seemed to be quite enthusiastic at the moment. "Lord Commander," Beric dutifully greeted with a bow. "Galersonn Brewing's finest will be served. I trust that it will live up to the legends you have heard," he said, a small wry smile forming at the corner of his lips at the mention of the renown Vandorian brewing company. "And I do believe there are more coming. The Force is strong here today, unusually so. . . I hope that bodes well for--"

A sudden, metronomic clacking interrupted Beric, and he turned to see a Master that he had only served with once, on a brief escapade in the disputed regions defending refugee ships against the oppression and predatory machinations of the Sith: Josiah, of House Denko. Appropriately, Beric nodded his head to the Master as well, in deference of the man's station and experience. "It is a pleasure to host you, Master Denko." There were others too, though they were names and faces that Beric did not recognize; he did, however, give them proper deference of host, greeting them each in turn. And yet although he could sense the gathering here, the same abundant presence persisted elsewhere in the small city. Where there others who had not made it to the Castle yet? Frosthall's village offered few attractions, bar the multiple taverns that lined its snow-covered streets -- there was very little opportunity for one to get distracted. Yet Beric cast his momentary doubt aside to focus on the present.

He raised his voice to address the small crowd of Knights Obsidian that had already arrived. "I welcome you all to Frosthall, and am gladdened that the Winter Storms could have parted if even momentarily to allow for this gathering. The Force is strong here today, that is for sure." He turned, beckoning towards the inviting scents of a small feast laid out in the Grand Hall. "Food may be more appropriate than a speech, after what I'm sure was not the most convenient of journeys."

Raz, rather than joining the conversation in the tavern directly, chooses to simply listen. As the newcomer to the group, relatively speaking, he was curious to see what bonds were already formed. Such things had always fascinated him, the way so many distinct existences with their own histories seamlessly intertwined. But, after a while of quietly observing, he found it time to head to the actual meeting place. Bidding a silent farewell to the group at the tavern with a smile and a nod of his head, Raz exits the tavern and braces his coat against the cold as he heads to the inner wall and eventually reaches the entrance hall. Sensing the presence of powerful force users ahead, he approaches the pair of Beric Layne Beric Layne and Millu Lee Millu Lee to introduce himself.
“Hello. I am Raz Asai’il, a somewhat new addition to this order. I would like to thank you for your invitation to this gathering. This city is full of the beauty of the Force, my friends. It has been a blessing to travel here.” He gives a slight forward bow. Strangely enough, for a well known pacifist he is quite muscular. “I believe there is another group at the tavern that will be joining shortly.”

This guy in a long leather jacket buttoned up in the front came barging into the frost hall. He had a few healing cuts on his mostly dirty face, and he was clearly not someone anyone here knew. In fact, most of the galaxy did not know who the greatest Jedi of all time was. There was some grand conspiracy to keep his name out of the history books, probably professional jealousy. The Jedi just couldn’t handle how great he was, it was clear by what had happened on Hapes. I mean they pretty much chased him off the planet for trying to make some creds.

He walked past all those gathering acting like they were not even there. He made his way straight to the booze and past the tender. The Tender just gave him a odd look and looked to Beric Layne Beric Layne like what should he even do about this miscreant. Hansel just grabbed a glass and started pouring himself a drink when that Baric talked about food. Hell, Hansel could eat it had been a few days.

Hansel Downed his drink of some sort of whiskey it did not touch his tongue long enough for taste. Yet the burn down the back of the throat was good enough to warm him for a few minutes. “It’s frakking Cold out their dude. So very inconvenient, I do hope the Knights obsidian over health insurance in case got frost bite or something?” Someone had to told him Beric’s name and also Gerwalds but Hansel had promptly forgot that information. “The Jedi had horrible benefits, none to be exact.”

He jumped back little as he saw Raz Asai'il Raz Asai'il . “Jeezzzz us…. There is a pure blood here, yikes beat you scare the ladies.” He shook his head and turned away from Raz. Taking notes of all the others in attendance.

“Hello all I am Lord Aulin but you all can call me Hansel.” He gave them a smile and a wink to the ladies Eenia Vahn Eenia Vahn and Millu Lee Millu Lee . He noted the minor in the room Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic . “This is no place for a kid but since you’re here, you want a drink?” he drabbed a second glass and set it on the bar and waited for her answer. “I was told to come here from the home office on Naboo, said there was a party going on or something. So are we eating?“

WARMTH

The Jedi held his peace.

His leisurely pace came to a brief conclusion when the Lord of Vandor made his greeting. Josiah returned the gesture, regarding the man with a kind smile. "Thank you for the warm welcome." His words were brief, yet genuine. And from thence, he resumed his pace.

Along the way he saw many faces. Many were young. Unblemished by the terrors of the Cataclysm - or even the Galaxy as a whole. Little Lights he mused to himself. The thought caused the smile to linger all the more.

In passing, he saw the young Kipp Lansen approaching the "dancing" Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic . The latter of which seemed to be attempting to shake off the chill. Josiah approached them, saying nothing at first. He opened his hand and leveled it between them. Golden Sparks began to dance. They moved as a swirling hive, shimmering in a perfect circle, before hovering just above his palm. It was a simple trick. The introductory chapter to learning the fabled Force Light. Its benefit? Tangible warmth. With but a whim, he lofted it slightly above their heads. It would provide some modicum of relief from the chill, at least until they seated themselves.

"Don't want you catching a cold." he said. A wink was given and he carried on, ultimately finding a table of his own. He descended into his seat, grimacing ever so slightly as his body protested. Ah, for as much progress as he had made, there was still so much work to be done. His gaze them swept across the newcomers, until his attention was grabbed by the introduction of Axile Volzap Axile Volzap . He smiled, waved at the man, and motioned towards one of the table's open seats.

"I am Josiah. Care to join me?"

As the invitation formed and fell from his lips, curiosity loomed in his mind. Beric Layne Beric Layne had called them together, but was it simply to mingle? Or did he have grand designs in mind? Only time would tell.

Axile grimaced as the golden sparks ran across Josiah Josiah 's palm. "I would be more than happy too," the younger of the two replied calmly. In an effort to not show his discomfort around the elder man's trick he came up with one of the most used but readied excuses that all mankind had available to them when they wanted to quickly leave. With a small smile Axile added: "I will be back in just a moment."

Turning around the Nabooian headed towards the men's toilets. With each stride he took away from Josiah he felt more and more relieved as he disappeared into the lavatories.

It was her first time in Frosthall, on Vandor, specifically. Luca Ioneşti had spent his time here as a youth, but didn’t often talk about home, opting for brooding silence and a terse reply whenever pressed.

Perhaps during this excursion, she could gain some insight as to why that was and have a greater understanding of the man.

Since their early arrival, a foreign chill had managed to seep deep into her bones, past the layers of clothing and the environ suit - one that not even the warmest of fires could chase away. It gave her the immediate impression of the planet being primal and frigid, rough in every sense of the word, much unlike her ever temperate home world of Naboo which boasted majesty and life.

Her eyes glanced over to Luca, who seemed perturbed, but otherwise unaffected. Many of the others gathered had a similar reaction as herself to the less than ideal temperatures of the world, but Luca didn’t even flinch - like he himself was sculpted from ice. Maybe he was, it would certainly explain a few things.

“How are you not even a bit cold?” she whispered, keeping her attention fixed on the man who had invited them all here as he spoke, shifting slightly in her seat. “Did you know Beric well when you lived here?” she asked, regretful of the fact that she didn’t know many of the Knights like she felt she should, due to the many demands that often divided her time. “Any idea what this is all about?” With the gathering of so many lightsiders, and a few renowned Masters, Teyla could not help but think that something important was going to happen.

The Gathering
Frosthall, Vandor
----------
Some days after '
The Vault of Memory'
----------

The opportunity to go home was one he took without hesitation, if duty allowed. There was duty, of course, in coming: to the Order, and in other ways, to Teyla Sal-Soren Teyla Sal-Soren , his student who sat next to him, finding the cold difficult to bear. On that, the tables turned, in a way, and though given time he had more or less acclimatised to Naboo, the summers were still a tad too much; had this been a year ago, he would be quick to reply, sharp, needling. Instead, his blue-grey gaze followed the speakers as they spoke, but his mind ruminated on her questions, his arms crossed. His somewhat persistent mood in recent times had little to do with the weather.

"This place is my home," he quietly gave, in slow, careful words, tipping slightly towards her, head turning a small measure, "and... no, we never crossed paths, then."

Of course, he had been afforded the opportunity to get to know the Lord of Frosthall a little better, at the end of a... stick, around a week earlier. What a week it had been. Getting off Naboo was also welcome, given recent events, in his mind. As for what this was about?

"Look at how many are with us - we used to number more."

That was putting it delicately. There was little need to explain, when it had affected them all. It meant change - it could be nothing else that brought them all together, at this point in time. He shifted, sitting upright, saying nothing further, but after looking around at others, and seeing how many cold there were, he sucked in a sharp breath, bringing a partial fist to his mouth, and speaking again a few moments later:

"I would offer you my coat," he admitted, turning to her again, "but I... should have told you about this before now. I'm... sorry, for that... but the best time to learn Tapas is when you're cold and uncomfortable."

He then rose from his seat and turned back to the rest of the gathered, hands in his pockets, raised his voice beyond the whisper to a gruff milieu, to address them, taking in their faces.

"I'm Master Luca Ionești. If anyone is interested... I can let you in on how to stay warm, without flame."

Rather than being insulted by the slight against his looks by Hansel Aulin , Raz just laughs.

"Ah, I suppose you may be right my friend." His easygoing manner belies the lean muscle and his fearsome appearance.

Watching the room for a little, the sith pureblood simply takes stock of the room.

"So few...and yet, enough." With that cryptic sentence, Raz simply sits and pulls a small paper book from his coat, flipping it open and reading until disturbed.

Millu managed to calm herself down as much as she could as Beric responded her questions, seemingly quite exasperated. She tried to play the good hostess as her master clearly expected her to when the Lord Commander entered the room. Millu knew Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner was new to the position and genuinely expected him to be at least a little less intimidating that their previous Lord Commander. She and Beric had been in a lesson led by him a few months back, and he seemed a good man.

Hands behind her back, Millu bowed to the lupine along with her master. She observed in silence as Beric greeted the other guests as they approached them. All were polite and seemed genuinely happy to be there, and then there was Hansel Aulin . A very loud man and oh so incredibly annoying. His passive aggressive atitude about Vandor and his unnecessary flirting made her wonder why the kriff he was even there. And then he had the guts to make a joke about one of the guests' species. The girl guessed he was calling the guy ugly or something like that. But that was still very mean of him. And if there was something Millu couldn't stomach, that something was bullying- even if it was just a joke by a loud and annoying guest.

Thankfully, Raz Asai'il Raz Asai'il didn't seem to be disturbed by Hansel's comment and even laughed about it! Still, Millu would feel bad if she didn't acknowledge what just happened. So she turned once again to Beric and Gerwald, and bowing to both, said "Master, Lord Commander. I'm just going over there real quick, ok? I'll be back in time to eat, promise."

And quickly started crossing the room searching for Raz. She made sure to bump into the annoying Hansel on her way, dropping a "That wasn't very nice" along with a reproaching side eye. Millu found the man she was searching for in the corner of the room, reading. She sat in a couch next to him. "Hi! I'm sorry for that guy, don't mind him, he's just rude. I don't even know why he's here. My name is Millu, but I guess you already know that. What are you reading?"

Raz gives a kind smile to Millu Lee Millu Lee .

"It is alright, in all honestly he is probably right." the sith chuckles to himself. "Besides, when you get to be my age, you learn to take things in stride. The world is far too large for things like ego and appearance to matter in the grand scheme of things. This book is something a friend gave to me, its a collection of poetry from days long past. In truth, it is not all to my taste, but seeking knowledge only where it is comfortable to do so is a path to stagnation."

Despite his mention of his age, he doesn't seem to show much. He's a man carved of lean muscle under scarred skin, wearing his tranquility armor and the winter cloak he had purchased did little to hide a physique that seemed at odds with his philosophical personality. Also of particular note is the ring on his right hand, which bears unmistakable iconography of the sith doctrine. Strange for someone so aligned with the light to be wearing an artifact aligned to the dark side...
