OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Thelma Goth - Psy-Pire/Energy Vampire Hybrid
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Dahrtag
  • Average Lifespan: Unknown; could live for two thousand years, or could live indefinitely.
  • Estimated Population: Unique; Other hybrids of this type may exist in the galaxy, but this sub is meant to codify a particular character's unique genetic mixture.
  • Description: The child of a Psy-Pire mother and an Energy Vampire father, Thelma Goth is a hybrid of her parents' species.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type 1
  • Average Height of Adults: 1.47 meters | 4'10"
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Pale
  • Hair color: Red
  • Distinctions: Thelma can pass for human, but has a number of physical distinctions which mark her heritage. Her skin is very pale, with an almost translucent quality. She has retractable fangs with a metallic purple sheen, as well as retractable claws. The irises of her eyes are violet; when in darkness, there appears a purple glint at the center of her pupils which can be viewed from about a meter away.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: All
Strengths:
  • Blood Immunity: Thelma has near total immunity to poison, even Sith-related poisons. At best, a high dose of an extremely toxic substance might make her sluggish, but will not kill her.
  • Food: Unlike many other species of vampire, Thelma can consume food, though this only provides very minor nourishment, barely enough to keep her bodily functions and organs working. Doing this comes with many negative side effects, such as chronic migraines, depression, and a decreased ability to focus Force powers. In the long term, it can cause premature aging of the body.
  • Specialized Eating: Thelma feeds on people's memories. She becomes telepathically connected to her prey upon biting them with her fangs, allowing her to access their memory and select which one she will consume. She can "see" the memories she eats as if she had experienced them herself.
    • More potent memories with very strong emotions connected to them provide greater nourishment and can sustain her for up to a week before needing to feed again. However, she can consume only two to three strong memories at a time.
    • Minor memories with little emotion or significance attached are more easily accessed, but provide nourishment to last only a few days.
    • The memories of animals provide only enough nourishment to sustain her for a few hours.
  • Regeneration: Thelma can regenerate and recover from any wounds she suffers in a very short amount of time... but only if she is asleep. She cannot regrow lost limbs, however.
  • Capable of Creating Sires: Should Thelma desire to turn someone else into a vampire, she can do so by allowing them to ingest a significant amount of her blood (or receive a blood transfusion from her). However, the resulting vampire will simply be a Psy-Pire, not a hybrid, and will thus lack any Energy Vampire traits.
    • Ingesting a small amount of blood will result in the individual temporarily gaining a few of her traits, albeit in a milder form. These include increased strength, speed, and faster healing while asleep. It can also produce a feeling of euphoria, and may become addictive if one is consuming her blood frequently. These effects only last for a few hours before the body ultimately flushes them out.
Weaknesses:
  • Garlic: Thelma is highly allergic to garlic. Consuming it can cause seizures; physical contact with her skin or introduction to the bloodstream causes intense pain comparable to Devaronian blood poison. Even hanging the stuff up in a room provokes an unwelcome burning and watering of the eyes.
  • Slower Healing While Awake: Thelma heals from wounds very slowly when awake, taking many days for even a minor cut to close fully. This can be deadly if she is severely injured with no way to ensure her safety during slumber.
  • Resist!: Those with naturally very strong wills or trained mentalists can resist her telepathic feeding. Successfully resisting means she gets little to no nourishment at all.
  • Let's Go Crazy: Feeding on memories to gain experience might seem like a good thing, but too much knowledge can be a curse rather than a boon. Thelma's mother was eventually driven mad by the memories she consumed. If Thelma is not careful about what she eats, she could also end up going insane.
  • Going Electric: Thelma's body is more vulnerable to electricity than a human. Lightning and ion blaster bolts cause her severe pain, blisters, and burns. Grenades with ionic properties are capable of actually setting her ablaze.
  • Quantity Over Quality: While Thelma can consume food in an emergency or out of choice, she typically only receives a quarter of the nutrients from an average size meal, and must eat far more often... as many as twelve times in one day, if she chooses to eat only food. Doing this will also leave her only a step away from malnourishment.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Memories
  • Communication: Galactic Basic
  • Technology Level: Galactic Standard
  • Religion/Beliefs: Thelma was raised to venerate the Progenitor, Lady Nine Lives, as the first Psy-Pire and originator of her mother's race. She was also trained as a Jedi and follows their philosophy, though she tends to be more traditional, submissive and pacifistic than many of her contemporaries. She has since left the Order.
  • General Behavior: You'll have to RP with Thelma to find out.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Frederic Goth was a male Energy Vampire born some centuries ago. Genevieve Werdeghast was a female Psy-Pire who claimed descent from the Progenitor, Nine Lives. The two met on Dahrtag, got married and had a daughter, Thelma.

Thelma has inherited traits from both her parents, though the Psy-Pire seems to be dominant. Her Energy Vampire half has cancelled out many of the more dire weaknesses of the Psy-Pire half, however.
