Prospecting the Rimma V - Dwarfs & Men

Jaster didn't have time to worry about the Jedi, they could take care of themselfs against such interesting creatures. Jaster needed them alive for study at a later date, GPS trackers and ID tags would find them after they were stunned.

"First row, use Stun Rounds, we need at least 3 alive, second and third row, live rounds, they get to close drop them," Jaster looked around for a second and then pulled out his folding double-ended Vibro-Staff. "Do not get separated, they look agitated, do not kill unless provoked or they may become even more aggressive."

This was wen the Jedi Knkght Quenladose was jumped and passed over her. One of the officer let loose a stun round and it seemed to do a minor effect. Two more shots and the beast was down for the count, other officer took notice and took aim.

Karen just kept shooting. Any of Jaster's men who attempted to use a Stun setting were quickly disappointed with the results. Stun didn't even pack the punch to slow these monsters down. They closed the distance just too quickly. This garden was a kill box. And not in the good way either. Yet despite the speed of the creatures heavy advance? Already Roberts had blown two of them in half with her gun. Spilling guts and streaming charred rawhide amongst the men and beasts.

"It's an ambush! Shoot! Shoot!" She called in a booming voice.

Darn, but these little buggers were fast. Already they had jumped behind them and inside their formations. Closing a difference of several meters between themselves and the troopers with nothing but a single bound. Scary impressive. ...Blast. This was bound to get messy.

Roberts jumped back as another creature leaped for her. Her senses guiding her hands to the most imminent threat. The animal could have vaulted over three land speeders with that single bound. Wow. Marvelously impressive species. Dangerous as hell too. No time to admire that hang time. Karen took a knee, lined up the jump with her shoulder, and then put three continuous rounds between it's eyes. Blam, blam, blam. Time seemed to slow down as her bolts crossed the furious air and arking straight into the leaping predator. The wild purple energy from her gun melted a line of fire and electricity across the creatures distorted face. Scorching away all of the meat and matter above it's thick muscled neck. Cascading with a violent crack as her gun finished. Leaving only a smoking corpse to survive into mid air. Knocking Roberts aside with a messy slump as it landed...

One. Fell. Swoop.

"Damn." She turned back to her feet and leveled her disruptor with renewed focus, "...Oh yeah... What a fun forest huh? I'm just loving the locals. What a lovely welcoming party they have planned. Ugh! Let's skip straight to desert, shall we? Come and get it lassy!"

Blam, blam, blam,

Whatever happened. Don't stop shooting.

Quenladose was moving quickly, her size and speed her biggest advantage as she was watching Karen Roberts firing into the creatures and the soldiers were working to stun it as she waited for one to jump at her and held her saber up for it to land on and she rolled with the creature. The saber through its head and jaw but it was laying on top of her as she tried to roll it off and was stuck there for a moment while she tried to roll the creature off of her before she debated with herself to calling out for someone to roll the creature off of her. "*mumble*" She was speaking and rolling over it finally as she laid there watching the other creatures that were coming around them before she was getting up and moving quickly to keep up the fight as she threw her saber to slice one of the creatures legs off before moving back and catching her saber.
