"One of these ladies and gentlemen, with grant you nigh invulnerability from our grenades for eight hours! So use them. And use them well. You will get to stand tall while our enemies choke, fester and die!"

  • Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: To protect midichlorians in the blood stream from biological agents. It carries no real nutritional value, other than stimulating the production of white blood cells to form defensive barriers around midichlorians, shielding them and fighting off microbes which may seek to feast on them.
EFFECTS
  • Badoxin is a drug whose effects are ultimately benign to most. Ingesting the capsule activates proteins in the bloodstream which cultivate white blood vessels to defend the bodies midichlorians. The purpose of this, is to aid friendly force users and military personnel from the nefarious effects of the bioweapon, and ensure their safe use against enemy targets.
STRENGTHS
  • Limiting Biological Warfare: Use of badoxin in tests, shows that in 98.3% of tests, Badoxin is an effective agent at protecting users against the effects of Project RUUSAN’s weaponry.
WEAKNESSES
  • Stifles The Force: Force users ingesting Badoxin may experience some limitations in their use of it. An inability to concentrate, latch onto, or feel the force.
  • Benign: Other than defending the midichlorians, it doesn’t do anything but increase blood flow.
DESCRIPTION
Project RUUSAN’s breakthrough with the Ravenous and later Ravenous grenade sparked a great deal of intrigue from Prefsbelt Command’s higher ups, but also concern. The Ravenous lived up to their name. They were in fact, ravenous, hungry and soldiers exposed to the Ravenous MK1 grenade came down with illness and the attacks of the microbe. Ergo, it became critical to develop some form of defence, as to use the grenades to their fullest. Enter Badoxin.

Badoxin is in fact made up of several blood medications, thinners and steroids, all packed into one tablet. Badoxin stimulates within the user the production of white blood cells, and an increase in blood flow. These white blood cells target midichlorians and coat themselves over them, protecting them. For non-force users, this is a boon, and makes them practically invulnerable to the effects of the Ravenous grenades. But it has more adverse effects on force users.

Force users who use Badoxin may experience a slip, in their grip on the force. They can still use it. But it can inhibit it and cause some issues against opponents. However, the use of the Ravenous grenades will more than make up for this shortfall.

More or less reliable protection from your own bioweapons? Sure, why not.
  • There are some unfinished sentences in the submission, see "... users and military personnel from the" and the Stifles the Force strength.
  • While the art used was clearly made for you, I'd suggest crediting it regardless - give those lovely artists some much-deserved love!
