NONE.

STRENGTHS:
+ Stronger Than Ten Thousand Men: The Kyb-X shield generator is as powerful as four high end shield generators, meaning any vessel under its protection is able to sustain more fire than most.

WEAKNESSES:
- Explosive Nodes: Kyber is anything, if not volatile. When the shield projectors and boosters, upon the outside of the vessel are hit, the explosion is anything, if not amazing.
-Never Say Never!: The KYB-X's main design feature is that it is able to use kyber crystals to channel more energy than other shield variants. However, this takes a toll. Sustained use stresses the shields, and the shield transmitters. So while it may present an impervious challenge at first, over the course of battle, its shields will decay.
- Ship-Laden: The Kyb-X is only able to be mounted on vessels, due to the power needed to sustain it.

DESCRIPTION
Project Kyb-X has been a project in the works for the First Order for some time. While the weaponizing of kyber crystals in the form of turbolaser batteries and even earlier in lightsabers, has been a mainstay for an age, its application in shield generation has remained elusive. While the First Order has in the past managed to fit vessels with these shield packages, a standardised generation system is yet to be used properly. Until now.

Forged from the strongest crystals, and fitted onto vessels of the largest priority, and combat density, the Kyb-X shield generator is a type of generation system which greatly outshines its competitors. It is designed to absorb most ordinance, such as missiles, turbolaser fire, and hypervelocity rounds like a champ thanks to the crystals. While most shields struggle to recycle and keep up with sustained firing, kyber crystals within the shield projection modules allow for quicker resilience, and by extension, a better sense of endurance.

However, where the shield system does have short comings is in two distinct areas. The first, is the shield nodes. If the shield nodes are pierced, they will rupture, in an aesthetically pleasing detonation. One which, on one hand looks nice. But on the other hand can tear holes through armour and be a nuisance in that sense.

Time is also the enemy of the Kyb-X. While the shields may be strong, and seem nigh invulnerable to a green tactician, time is a factor. For the shields to run at full capacity, it is natural that it stresses the components, kyber crystals aren't nice conductors. Because of this, as combat wears on, the shields may decay, or even have holes appear in their defences. This means that for the Kyb-X to be deployed in battle, a succinct, and successful doctrine must be employed.

EDIT SUMMARY: Add the Chiss Ascendancy as an affiliation for this.

Given that this is for starships, and probably won't ever face an instance of someone trying to cut through the shield with a ligthsaber, please lower this to either Very High or High. Otherwise you've got a shield that is largely impregnable until its weakness kicks in, assuming it does.

It has been done.
