Problem Solving With Violence [Black Sun]

Operation Scorpion Hunter
Location: Klatooine / Forward Operations Base
Local Time: 05:03

The dawn of a new day had begun to appear on the horizon of this arid world. Klatooine was a new addition to the Suns growing control. 19 major planets had been acquired though a deal created by Domino. Unfortunately she was no longer here to aid them; venturing off for personal reasons. And so she was oblivious to the numerous problems that befell these worlds. Chief among those were the rogue mercenaries, terrorists now, plaguing Klatooine. It was a good opportunity to show these worlds that Black Sun was still very capable of offering security. Barab had blemished their image, though it was complicated. It still stood they needed a show of force.

Their base was simply tents and prefab structures. Nothing permanent but suffice for the job. In the largest prefab was the operations center. It was here Rayl had assembled his commanders and mission specialists. "I want to thank everyone for assembling in a timely manner. What we're to undertake today is not going to be easy".

A grainy black and white holopic appeared on a centered holoprojector to everyone's positions. Rayl raised his right arm and forwarded it towards the image. "This is Nicoomba. He is the leader of these mercs, and the man we aim to kill. Our intel shows he's hold up near the Fountain of Ancients. And to make matters worse he's imprisoned the Council of Elders". Rayl made the holo disappear. Everyone should have had enough time to familiarize themselves with it. A new image appeared of an overhead projection of the local operations area. Three rings depicting the areas they'd be in. The largest was the total area, stretching from the fountain to the city. A smaller one was only in the city itself; and the last was the likely area the prisoners were being held. "His men patrol these areas. Most either around the fountain and what we think to be the prison indicated in blue and red respectively. There's a lot of the locals still there despite the amount already killed. That fountain is sacred to this world so that explains his position. Its his bargaining chip and we can't let it get damaged or destroyed. These factors negate our use of heavy artillery, so we'll have to move in with only infantry initially".

His arms crossed and brow furrowed. Everything was still likely to run poorly. It was to large an area to run just spec ops, but to delicate to bring the hammer. They'd just have to fly this on the seat of their pants once they got knee deep in it. That's how it always bogged down to though. You can plan and plan but nothing ever goes according to what you think. Good thing Black Sun was excellent in flex operations. "Now we need to break into two teams. One for the fountain, one for the prison. But firstly, anyone have any questions"?

"Well I would just like to say if you get me a vantage point, I can provide sniper support, per my usual methods of helping our fights. Else I suppose I will go in with everyone else. " She grinned her fangs, which most thought were venomous would be clearly seen. " I mean, the mercs will surely fall apart without him in the picture. " She shrugged, and waited for an answer. She made notes as she was pretty sure using her thermal detonators were out of the picture for this mission. It was going to be fun regardless. "I mean heck get me in the air on a ship of some sort, I can take the shot. Then you guys can hit them hard and fast before they even know what is hitting them.
