- The photoreceptor model improves upon the basic premise, allowing the droid via its computing system to alter the type of vision to any given combat or utility circumstance. For example, the photoreceptors contain night vision and thermal optics as well as a built-in motion sensor.
- Building on the intent to improve basic photoreceptors, the model also contains a HUD display tailored to the droid brain's calibrations, allowing the droid to view data in real-time while conducting operations.
