I dont think these VERY major changes are good for your planet. Some of them are well. Sure you could remove the darkside nexus..........with a lot of lightside priests.....but even then........thats a major change to the planet. A very major change. Dont do this, you will regret it later.

Heres the thing, without knowing yes or no fewer people have impetus to vote since they dont truly have any input. Surr Matsu knows what it means but no one else does which leaves all the power in Matsu's hands ultimately. Thus the potential for Matsu to see who voted for which option and change the outcome based solely on not liking people OOC is a concern some may have. And i cant blame them. I agree it should get the Alderaan treatment. As should this poll.

I should feel insulted by this but well I have expressed a dislike for this way of polling or giving people options Sanya to you several times. This isn't your grandparent asking you to pick a hand and there is a different type of candy in each one so you don't really lose. It is a very poor way to do things and I am not neutral, I have never admitted to being unbiased or anything. I just don't care and say rp in a way that makes you happy my opinion shouldn't matter. None of our opinions should matter unless your actions endanger someone in real life. I simply meant to point out that when you give one person all the power over a supposedly community based decision it is hard to trust that everything will go as planned, which would lead to a low number of votes. It was not meant to attack you or your character as a person.

Speaking objectively, IC I think the best option for Sekalus is for Sanya to abdicate from her throne, and leave the Sekallians in peace. I know you're not open to that, so the next best step is to reform your administration and improve the well-being of the natives to make amends for your crimes.
On the nexus question, there shouldn't be any efforts to remove it, and I don't think it should even be possible for something on a planetary scale. Over the centuries, you've had billions of people feeding into the nexus, so I don't think it will be easily undone by a few Force Users over an afternoon. The population is made up of a large portion of Sith fanatics and other Dark Side practitioners who I imagine would actively oppose your efforts. Then a whole ecosystem and civilization has grown up around the existence of the nexus. You risk destroying all that by its removal. Sanya should show some more respect for what's already there if she's trying to rebrand herself as Jedi (you're a Dark Jedi at best, tbh).
You don't actually seem to like anything about the planet you made, so instead of wasting time on dozens or hundreds of posts dismantling everything that made Sekalus unique or interesting - further ostracizing yourself in the process - just start fresh with a new planet, and perhaps a new character.

I cannot even begin to fathom the decisions taken to reach this point.
If I grasp this nebulous situation correctly, you can’t decide on what you want to do, so you figured you’d post a public poll but with nonsensical choices to which you have sent to answers to someone else.
As you have doubtless grasped by now, Sekalus is a point of considerable discussion amongst the community. So, rather than just flipping a coin 5 times or running a poll in your faction, you decided to post this in public, full well knowing that people would call out the inanity of it. Then, you have the amusing righteous indignation to get upset when people do.
I…really am at a loss here. Either you want public involvement, or you don’t. Wouldn’t it have been wiser to post an unrelated poll and used those answers as your yardstick?
As for the options, I don’t think I can vote for either one or two because my answer is zero in all cases.

I agree with [member="Suravi Teigra"], after reading everything that went on, I couldn't resolve IC to keep my character on the throne. But if you insist, I don't think this is the best way to go about it.

Comments like nuke them and blow it up etc are not really helpful. From this I've decided that next time I'll simply not bother trying to be more interactive.
