Private Platinum Transmutation

Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter Selenic Selenic Nyree Justice Nyree Justice

Hego Hill was like pretty much every Muun. Business-savvy, cold-blooded to the core and, most importantly, very well-connected and aware of the dynamics of political aristocracy.

In the banking industry, you only open a new bank if a new system is discovered or a faction invites you to do so. Banking cartels are a thing, and they're run by an aristocratic caste of people, Muun being chief among them. Knowing this, Hego had hit the jackpot in finding a brand new faction to do business with: the Agents Of Chaos' Coin Division.

He was alerted to their existence by a call from a certain Scherazade deWinter, informed of his existence by a former superior of his by virtue of her literally asking him "Can you find us a money man?". He was about to meet her on a space contraption called Scintillia.

Not only that, he was also expected to meet his fellow "platinums", that is to say, the leaders of the Coins. He was a well-connected banker, a genius, and a multi, multi, multi millionaire. This was enough to command him a senior leadership position in the AoC bureaucracy.

The shuttle he was in arrived at the Sctintillia space dock. Leaving, he expected to find the other two platinum coins and the head honcho of the Agents of Chaos, Scherazade.

Can you find us a money man.

Sometimes, people liked to make fun of the fact that she lacked that sort of classes that many politicians and higher ups had. Funnily enough, the Sithling was an actual princess, with an entire backing of a legacy behind her, though it was a secret so well kept that it appeared on no record anywhere. By virtue of birth she outranked most people she came across, though most of them would never had even guessed it.

And yet, sometimes, more often than people would care to admit, her crude methods worked. For instance, this due – Hego Hill. Banker. Money. She asked to be introduced, and it worked. She was just about to be. And while she was here to act more or less as the middlewoman, she knew that Kym and Nyree would be waiting.

As such, she'd arrived at the dockyard on her own, well ahead of time. Someone else might have dressed in a business suit. Scherezade was wearing her armor, and her body was decked with various blades. She wasn't afraid of using them in case of need. People often thought that the blades were to make up for a lack of skill on the field of battle. People were wrong. Scherezade's training had ensured that she had the potential to be much deadlier without them than with. The shiny was just a distraction.

As the shuttle arrived and docked, a huge smile came on the Sithling's face. She stood by the ramp, waving excitedly.

"Hello, mister money man!" she grinned, "Welcome to the Scintilla! We're about to head to Eve. Hungry?" and with that last question, the girl offered him a bag.

There were cheese cubes in the bag.

Moving down several corridors of Eve's port, Kamyrin looked over some data files and reports well taking her afternoon sprint. She needed to put more focus into actually running Raven Industries along with the Coin instead of keeping her head in the lab. At the very least taking a step back would do her some good, last couple months had been going back and forth between the lab, gym and bed. She had all ready missed several operations, mostly focusing her attention else where, well yes action was important, keeping the ground in which so many of the Agents operated on stable was necessary. But with her new ship designs near completion, even if she was not making the planning on pulling a little outta the lab, she would be forced out. Her assistants would get annoyed if she stressed every little detail. With this phase it was in theirs, hers and AoC's best interest she move away from the lab for some time. Hearing a click in her ear she stopped for a second, someone was attempting to get a hold of her through her comm piece, replacing the female vocalist she had been listening too.

Standing still she could feel the sweat coming off her, given she could also feel heat from some near by vents, combined with the jogging she had built up a good amount in her track suit. Clicking a button on her wrist to answer she heard the respond of her assistant as she took a deep breath in, bad situation if she was needing a breath before talking to her. Suddenly reminded her to look at the time, realizing she had been lost in thought a little to much during her jog. Her reason being down here for her gym activities had been for a quick turn around to a meeting. But it seems it was transpiring right at this moment.

"Ma'am your me..."

"Yes I know, I'll be their in a second, I'm only a short walk away."

She could hear a sigh on the other end before the click in her comm piece and it was once again replaced by music. She had not and would not mention she was not changed but that could be handled quickly, as she rushed over to her towel and a bag. Drying herself off and appying something that smelled a little better, fruity even, she opened the bag to find that she had made a second mistake. Instead of throwing a extra pair of clothing in this morning, she had thrown in one of her other track suits. Today was not her day, changing into her other suit which as least did not carry the sent of her body from working out.

Finishing changing, she grabbed her data pad which she needed and at the very least had not forgotten and began to sprint down the corridors with her lightsaber being the only weapon she carried well on Eve. One of her bodyguards that had been at a distance only a few rooms from the meeting location met up with her sporting full armor. Well Eve was home, it was never less best to be some what careful specially well meeting someone she had never met before. Also given all that the AoC had done in damage recently she would not be surprised if someone wanted a little payback. Which her skills were plenty good enough to handle most combat situations, she was a poor shot so a body guard with a blaster never hurt to have her back covered. With a simple node they both broke into a sprint stopping only a few meters from the hatch leading to the bay. Looking herself over a little, she decided even if it was gym clothing, she had also used it at clubs before, just seemed less ideal with business in mind but never less she opened the door.

Walking up behind Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter who she simply nodded too, she did a curt bow before their guest before looking back up with a smile.

"Apologize on the delay, lost track of time, My name is Kamyrin Gyvolis CEO of Raven Industries and Coin Platinum."

Looking around to see a missing child that served as a fellow Coin leader, clicking her tongue before denoting she was not present she turned back to her new guest waiting for a response or for the last person to appear. Hope she had a good reason for being later than her.

Hego looked directly at the bowing guest, who he accurately inferred was his fellow Platinum Coin (not a "Coin Platinum" as a Kamyrin called her title), and proceeded to nod and smile.

"Hego Hill. Managing Director of Hill and Company and, just like you, a Platinum Coin, at least that's what miss De Winter said," he said.

It's good to correct mistakes in people. It is not okay to wave it in their god damn faces. Hego knew this quite well, and as with everything that came out of his mouth, it was said with absolute precision, poise and forethought.

"We're still waiting on one person for the meeting to continue then."

As Kamryn showed up behind her, Scherezade grinned. She'd promised herself months ago that she would get to spend more time with her, but mission after mission and things that had to get taken care of had come in the way, and thus she'd been much more neglectful than she'd been meaning to. But maybe, after this meeting, she and Kam could go hang somewhere.

"Ms. Justice pinged me minutes ago," she said sweetly as she motioned for everyone to get into the limo she'd arranged for them, "She'll be meeting us at the top of the Tower, so there's no reason to stay here. This is the dockyard, it's kinda ugly, and doesn't show a dime of how wonderful Eve and the Scintilla are."

Again she motioned with her hands. "C'mon, let's get in! Lots of stuff to see! Food to eat! Flowers to smell!"

As the limo was shown to him, Hego dismissed his Iotran guardsmen with the swing of a hand.

"I'll be alright, men. Meet me at the meeting point agreed upon on the shuttle."

The Iotrans both bowed their heads in unison and exited the area as instructed..

Hego made sure to step in the limo first. He absolutely wanted to have the seat he always took in a limo, namely the one sitting with his back to the driver on the left side. It made sure he could see everyone without fail properly, since people are often lazy and take the first seat. This insight had never failed him, though it might this time.

As the others followed him in, Hego placed a large holographic projector in the middle of the limo's foot resting area, specifically where it could be best seen.

"Mind the holo projector please," he said rather loudly, making sure to be heard as the others entered.

Kam simply smiled and nodded in response to knowing the location of the other head, well at least she had not forgotten it like Kam. But at the very least she made up for being close enough by to make it even if a little late. Raising a eyebrow to her comrade over her enthusiasm over food, she simply shook her head and smiled, food was a simple way to always get on deWinter's good side.

Moving towards the limbo she let their guest get in first before entering and moving into the unoccupied corner seat beside the other unopened door. With the seats being made out of a exotic leather Burgundy theather, she wondered if it was the natural tone or dyed. But that aside the material made it easy to slide, scooting her rump into the corner before digging into her pocket and grabbing a single ear piece. She also payed some attention to the holographic projector well putting her ear piece in wondering what he had to show.

But quickly turned to look outside as she pulled up her data pad and choose a song to play in her ear piece, simply picking up from were she had left off during her run. Her single bodyguards seemed to move away from the vehicle heading to another room to jump on a separate transport running escort having seen her mark safely aboard.

Looking back she watched both Hego and deWinter to see which would bring up a conversation and wondering if not betting what it would be about as she waited.

Glancing as the security dudes were sent away, Scherezade grinned. Good. That meant that the first thing she'd set out to do, which was to make him feel safe, was a success. His insistence on entering the limo first before she'd had the chance to motion for him to get in, all it got out of Scherezade was a shrug. She didn't truly care one way or another when it came to this, since if she was having her way, she'd be riding back to the city on her unicorn speeder.

Kam went in second, and then finally Scherezade, sending a request to the driver as he did so to get them through the tunnel as quickly as they could. The tunnels were nothing to write home about; long, dark, and she was starting to think that someone had released a bad colony to see how they'd fare in there, but somehow never had the time to actually investigate it.

Within minutes, the limo existed, and Eve was displayed in all its glory. Blue skies that would feel real to anyone even though they were part of a carefully and cleverly programmed AI. Lakes with real water and flourishing marine life full of fish and other animals decorated the scenery as well, along with trees that at night lit up with the fairy lights of the insects that lived within them. Everything about Eve was constructed and developed rather than organically grown over millions of years. And it was absolutely lovely.

Scherezade sent Kam a few smiles, though most of the way was silent. Funnily enough, the silence was of the comfortable kind.

And then, the city came into view. Everything about it was shiny, new, and the tip top of what galactic technology had to offer. The limo, knowing what to do, took them through the rich neighborhoods, the clean streets, steering well away from areas such as the Slums that had organically developed in the gigantic sphere.

Shortly, they were at the Tower, from which they took the elevator up to the restaurant at the top.

"Welcome to Eve," Scherezade said again with a grand voice, motioning with her arms. The restaurant had windows that went around in 360 degrees, showing much of the city's splendor off. And in the center, was a round table, set for four.

Now came the question of what would actually happen and what would be said. Unlike Kamyrin Gyvolis Kamyrin Gyvolis , she wasn't a Coin. She didn't do these sort of things. She stabbed people. And so, Scherezade deferred to those who in this situation, were her betters.

"Your Majesty, you Majesty," came the annoying, metallic and grating voice of the protocol droid, D3-EP "Your Majesty, you must wake up!"

The lights came on, flooding Nyree's closed eyes with a sharp pain of light. The sound of the protocol droid's annoying voice as cut off by half a dozen voices groaning.

"F#$k off, turn the light back off Deeper," Nyree grumbled, rolling over and propping her elbow on one of the nearby muscled men. The gal who had been hold Nyree close let out a whimper of protest at her movement and the sudden lack of warmth. "It's too early for that."

"Your Majesty, it is 11:46, you must wake up," her droid protested. "You are already late as it is for the deal, if you are going to be a leader--"

"I know, I know," she pushed herself up and crawled over three of her bed mates, trying to miss their most sensitive spots. She succeeded--mostly. Nyree groaned. Her head was pounding. "Gotta make myself worthy. Oh well, let's get this sh!t over with, I guess. Bring the speeder around--the fast one."

It didn't take long for the brunette to go to her closet--which was, to be fair, bigger than most apartments in the Core Worlds--and grabbed several of the Gucciest, dankest, sexiest clothes off their racks. Which were individually, each worth more than an apartment in the core worlds.

"Should I arrange a pilot droid for you, Your Majesty?" asked the protocol droid, popping his head in.

"Jesus Skywalker, Deeper," Nyree said covering her mostly bare chest, except for the blur boxes required to make this post PG-13, "I'm not dressed!"

"Terribly sorr--"

"Get ya damn head outta my closet," she shouted throwing a push up bra over his photoceptors, "And no, no driver."

The droid left, and Nyree finished dressing in peace. She stepped out onto her speeder and barreled through the streets of Eve, going much faster than the legal speed limit, the radio in her bracelet blasting loudly. She loved to go fast, she loved to break the rules, and if she could do both at once--well, why not? The Merchant Princess cut through the streets, weaving with speed that would have made her absent father proud if he had even known she existed. The Force flowed through, her guiding the speeder's every movement, her every twitch. She even closed her eyes for a moment, the air whipped against her skin and through her air in a freeing, refreshing flow.

Nyree didn't even bother to halt as she came closer to the Meeting place. Her foot clicked, shifting the repuslors over. Nyree jerked the joystick upward, the speeder climbed up the side of the wall, its sheer face was nothing to the space physics. As she reached the top, the speeder stalled out. Without a thought, Nyree swung herself off the speeder, it sputtered before careening down towards the bottom again. Her body crashed through the window, landing on the carpeted floor. She rose up to her feet.

"F&%k bitches get money," Nyree shouted with the bass music that blasted from her as her compatriots came into the room. She dusted off her ripped, lace jeans and tube top under her gold body chain. "Sup, hoes?"

Hego looked to Nyree with a level of perceivable disgust at her behavior. Now, the Muun was trained to show only intent to one person while not to others, which means Scherazade and Kamyrin could not see it. This was designed to not make Hego look like an ass while asking Nyree to stop acting like an uncouth prick.

Afterwards, Hego looked with kindness to the two others in the limo.

"Are we ready to hear my proposal?" he said, switching on the holoprojector as to be ready to display stuff.

The grin on Scherezade's face was hard to miss as Nyree entered. Show off she was, but it was the funny kind. Still, Scherezade removed a small device from her pocket and aimed it at Nyree, pressing the button. If the device did what it was meant to do, it would shut the music off so that they could concentrate on the meeting.

She didn't need to see Hego's reaction to her – because it simply didn't matter. Nyree was in her place because she brought results, and bringing the results in was what gave her all the freedom to just be herself. It was a simple thing, truly. Any ass could waltz in and claim greatness. But most people were nothing but talk.

Motioning for Nyree and Hego to take their seats in the restaurant they were in, she also sent Hego a nod. "Sure," she answered him, "Though most people wait for an answer before setting their stuff up. Do you need a droid to assist you? Wanna munch on a cheese cube?"
