*Laser-Beam Weaponry: The Patron-Class has two large laser-beam cannons, as seen on an LAAT, outfitted for capital ship combat. These beams can rip through enemy ship armor if concentrated.
*Triangular shape: The triangular shape common in Imperial ships allows all guns on the side to fire toward the tip of the ship, allowing concentrated fire.
*Ion Weapons: The Patron-Class Star Destroyer only has ion cannons apart from the beam weapons. These ion cannons disable enemy shields, allowing the beam weapons to shred through enemy armor directly.
WEAKNESSES
-Weak Rear: The back has no weaponry, and is exposed to any type of ship that can flank it.
-Weak points: The two beam weapons are weak between the ship, and the turret. Additionally, the Bridge is weak between the ship and the Bridge itself.
-Not much room: There is a very limited hangar/cargo bay compared to other capital ships.
-Capital-Destroyer: The Patron class is not designed for anti-starfighter combat, and has no anti-fighter turrets.
DESCRIPTION
The Patron-Class Star Destroyer uses a unique laser-beam weapon similar to an LAAT, but more fit for capital-ship to ship combat. It also uses mostly ion-cannons, to eliminate enemy shields, allowing the laser-beams to tear through enemy armor. To use such energy-demanding weapons, the Patron sacrifices shields and anti-starfighter weapons
