Location: Teth Capital Building, 156th Floor, Observitory
Mission: Through a UTC Party for completion of the Jaster Trade Spine
This was it, after 10 years of secrecy and manipulations and economic crisis for the company, he had finally created his final masterpiece. The Trade Spine connected the Republic Remnant, Commenor System Alliance, Free Worlds Coalition, and the Galactic Alliance to the Unknown Region. It had cost trillions in economic cost, hundreds of lives navigating the smallest of leads, and more favors to the Criminal Underworld then he was willing to hand out. Now though, he was able to connect his Trade Empire and bypass the First Order entirely as many of his raw goods were now held up in FO Warehouses. Trade Lanes was the life blood of his company, even as a Void Blood Sailor at heart he respected the knowledge of the Hyperlanes. It allowed his goods to travel across the galaxy quicker then taking side route, and with the support of the governments he allies himself with, it was time to repay all their investments and agreements to his cause.
He reserved the top 5 floors of the Government Building that profited the most from his trade lane. Teth was the anchor and for most the head of the Trade Spine. The Space Station that was still under construction in orbit was to be the biggest Space Trade Hub he had ever created under the banner of the UTC. This trade route was mostly an unknown for the Conglomerate as a whole, they never owned control of a Trade Route and did not have the Ships to protect the whole route. Thus they decided it would be distributed to the Holonet and Data given freely, the money however was control of the Trade Stations in orbit around the planet and Systems. Mining and Farming the Unknown Region to send the Raw Goods to the Core Worlds and Governments. It was all mostly a gamble, but Jaster saw the payout.
The Top Floor where he was standing was the Observatory, and it was the main ball room of the 5 floors. The large space was cleared of the Scientific Tables and Computers to make room for smaller ones for people to talk. This Floor would be where most of the higher ups and officers of the governments and companies involved with one another. In the Center of the room was a Holo-Projector, and it showed the galaxy as a whole and all the known High Speed Hyperlanes in the Galaxy. However, one was added in Yellow, and it moved from right to left through the Core Worlds uniting the Wild Space and Unknown Region by a yellow band. That line was the reason for it all and the reason he offered this party to anyone who was an ally of the United Trading Conglomerate or of the Republic. On the opposite side of the room to the door, was a massive quad set of Transparasteel Windows that overlooked the Capital City of Teth.
The other 4 floors were dedicated to the Soldiers, Assistance, and Employees of the invited representatives. Most were UTC Personal who helps build the company since its inception on Conglomerate Prime. Corporate Troopers, Merchant Captains, Sailors, and even Dock Workers were invited to mingle with citizens from other planets. Being a transport company, their transit was all expenses paid and only the hardest of the workers were given gifts and paid leave. Jaster was proud of his company, it had come a long way from when it was just transporting goods across the Unknown Region. Ships in disrepair and many lost to the void, him being unable to protect them for the most part. Now, he navigated and completed a whole Trade Hyperlane after 10 years of hard work.
He stood at the massive window looking to the skies, yet his eyes behind his Containment Helmet pierced the atmosphere and looked past it all to really see the bright stars and black void of space that was calling to him. Even in his aging form, he was still a spacer at heart and longed to get back to his one true lover.
He blinked out of it and turned to the Gala behind him, it was amazing to see the amount of people that showed up and many of his allies had shown up as well. He was glad to see friendly faces after so much killing he recently had seen, Mandalorain or not, death was still a scary mistress.
