The Chalactan adepts, mystics dedicated to inner harmony and enlightenment, took her in without question, sensing a powerful presence in the Force that lingered around the child like morning mist.
Though her origin remained unknown, no records, no markings, no name but the one the adepts gave her, Pari grew up surrounded by silence, study, and the sacred. The Chalactans taught her the values of mindfulness, compassion, and detachment from ego. From the time she could walk, Pari showed an uncanny sensitivity to the suffering of others. When animals fell ill, she wept until they recovered. When an elder twisted her ankle on the temple steps, Pari's touch dulled the pain before any salve could be found.
