    Jungles
  • Rainforests
  • Oceans
  • Mountains

[*]Major Locations:
  • The Six City-States
    New Gekha
New Gekha is the youngest city among the six city-states, a massive producer of agricultural goods and textiles that was born from the ashes of the city known as Old Gekha whose ruins were buried beneath the very foundation of the city as it was being built. Old Gekha was annihilated when King Kaine Zambrano came to power as it served as the seat of his political rivals, and would've served as a perpetual thorn in the newly crowned King's side if he hadn't led a preemptive strike to destroy House Luctacus.

[*]Khedal
  • Even in ancient times the Island of Cule and its port-city of Khedal has been one of the most independent and boastful settlements of the Epicanthix. They are master seamen and dedicated shipwrights who have mastered the wild Panathan sea that surrounds them on all sides, and have in turn become expert tradesmen and unrivaled maritime corsairs. The city was partly sacked when it allied with Bunduki during the Luctacus Rebellion, but has since recovered.

[*]Cropis
  • One of the earliest Epicanthix settlements in history, Cropis is a gloomy fortress-city hidden deep within the fetid wetlands of the Blackmoor Marsh. Despite its dark and oppressive setting the city bolsters one of the strongest militias, men and women who have been hardened by the harsh existence they endure daily into warriors without peer.

[*]Qocia
  • Some say that Qocia is where the Panathan Gods descended to deliver their divine gospel to the early Epicanthix of the region, and for as long as anyone has ever known the city has been the religious capital of all Epicanthix. A grand sprawl of temples and ziggurats, Qocia is a marvel to behold to both outlanders and native Epicanthix who look upon its majesty.

[*]Prethia
  • Once a far-flung outpost of the early Panathan Empire, Prethia has gone through many trials and tribulations throughout the centuries. It was the primary supplier of ore and other war materials to first fuel the Empire's military might, and then arm the wicked armies of Solomon the Black as he brought Panatha to ruin with his dark reign. Because of its close connection to Solomon and the suffering he inflicted upon his own people Prethia was utterly annihilated as retaliation by King Maruduk, but was later rebuilt by King Kaine early into his reign.

[*]Canthar
  • The capital city of Panatha was built by the ancient warlord Canthar as the cultural center of the united Epicanthix empire he envisioned to create. Originally known as Panath the city bolsters a considerable population in relation to the other cities on Panatha, featuring a massive harbor, trade bazaar, military quarter, and a gargantuan administrative center bordered by fourteen ziggurats whose beauty rival those in the holy city of Qocia.

[*]The Iron Mountains
  • The Iron Mountains are a massive mountain range of inhospitable peaks running along from the very edges of Qocia, along the entire northern border of the Panathan Highlands, and all the way down to the Lasian Riverlands. The mountains are rich with minerals and ores and despite the land's natural perils the Epicanthix have always attempted to harvest their subterranean treasures to fuel their wars over the long centuries.

[*]The Panathan Highlands
  • A great stretch of land bordering the foothills resting at the feet of the Iron Mountains is known to the natives who've lived there since time immemorial as the Panathan Highlands. Vast hilly grasslands serve as the backdrop to which the capital city of Canthar anchors itself to, as the highlands stretch out beyond the city for miles until they gradually disappear as the land rises higher into the mountains.

[*]Blackmoor Marsh
  • Surrounding the city-state of Cropis is a vast marshland of bogs, swamps, and wetlands collectively known as the Blackmoor Marsh. Typically it would be unthinkable to eek out a living in this inhospitable land, but the Epicanthix are nothing if not adaptable. Besides the main fortress of Cropis there are several adjacent villages and other small settlements built upon the patches of land unconsumed by the marshes.

[*]Island of Cule
  • The Island of Cule is the second largest island off the coast of the Panathan mainland, and is home to the maritime city-state of Khedal. The island itself is rocky and sparsely populated by vegetation, and is likewise surrounded by coral reefs and sandbanks that have proved treacherous to those unfamiliar with the island. There is also a large underground cavern system running beneath the island.

[*]Lasian Riverlands
  • The most fertile land on all of Panatha, the Lasian Riverlands has become the breadbasket of the wider Panathan government. Formally the power base of the Luctacus royal family before the ascension of the Zambrano family, its major hub of civilization was decimated by King Kaine Zambrano shortly after his violent coronation but was rebuilt several years later as an agricultural center to feed the rest of the realm.

[*]The Xanha Archipelagos
  • A large cluster of islands off the mainland coast southwest from the capital city. The Xanha Archipelago has served as the seat of House Rapux for generations as they amassed their wealth and became known throughout Epicanthix history as legendary sea-born conquerors that often rivaled the power of Canthar itself. However; with the ascension of Kaine Zambrano to the throne of Panatha they too have been incorporated into his kingdom like everybody else.

POPULATION

[*]Immigrated Species:

[*]Population: Moderately Populated - Approximately 3.9 Billion
[*]Demographics:
  • 95% Epicanthix
  • 5% Human / Other

[*]Primary Languages:
  • Epicant (Majority)
    Regional Dialects

[*]Galactic Basic Standard (Majority)
[*]Bunduki (Minority)

[*]Culture: The culture of Panatha is not unlike many other warrior cultures throughout history with strength, community (state), and religion being the pillars that hold up their society. Because of the harsh and brutal environment they evolved in the Epicanthix could not afford to nurse weak links, and thus any physical birth defects and imperfections were abhorred with the children possessing those traits often murdered in the crib by their own parents or by those who deliver the child to protect the purity of the society.
Likewise none are discriminated against because of their gender, all are expected to pull their own weight in society and there are no roadblocks for women to pursue the same career as men or vice versa. There have of course been attempts to impose sexist restrictions by some politicians over the course of Epicanthix history, but because such attempts go against the social norm they have never been given much attention nor have been seriously considered by mainstream society. The greatest dividing force within Epicanthix society is wealth and power, with those possessing an abundance of both rising to the top while those bereft of one or the other constituting the lower rungs of society.

Besides the wealthy the Epicanthix population of Panatha consists of three main groups: the Cedecimr, who were full citizens; the Ssozir, the serfs/slaves; and the Kvissilr, who were neither slaves nor full citizens and worked as craftsmen, traders, and worked the foundries that produced Epicanthix weaponry. The Kvissilr also came to encompass those non-Epicanthix who lived within Epicanthix society. Because Epicanthix men and women were professional soldiers all manual labor was carried out by the slave class, the Ssozir.

Epicanthix culture was centered on loyalty to the state and military service, and at age seven Epicanthix children entered a rigorous state-sponsored education, military training, and socialization program. While non-Epicanthix were not active in the military, they were educated and enjoyed more status and freedom than the slave class, yet they were still considered lesser than the Epicanthix citizenship and were ostensibly second-class. Because non-Epicanthix typically didn't follow the Epicanthix religion, they were forced to pay a tax to worship whatever religion they fancied unless they officially converted to the Epicanthix Pantheon.

Speaking of the Epicanthix Pantheon, it was comprised of seven secondary gods and goddesses led by a single all-powerful father god.

Nereus
Nereus is the All-Father of the Gods and the Chief God of War and the Sun. He is characterized as a burly Epicanthix shrouded in a cloak as red as blood wielding a halberd of pure silver. He is considered the king of all gods and creator of the Epicanthix from which he molded from clay and stone.

Udur
Nereus' son, Udur is the lesser God of War among the Epicanthix and is considered to be strength personified. He is known to be rugged, powerful, and fiercely independent and follows his own rules. However; just as fiercely as he is independent he is just as fiercely dedicated to his fellow deities. He wields two hammers inscribed with runes of power.

Nussyn
Nussyn is the Goddess of Love and Beauty and is the twin-sister to Immus, God of Fertility. Yet do not let her duties deceive you, for Nussyn is also a warrior goddess possessing great wisdom, cunning, and magic. She is often considered the being that ferries Epicanthix who were slain on the fields of battle to the sacred halls of the gods. She is depicted wielding a spear and shield.

Immus
Immus is the God of Fertility and the twin-brother to Nussyn, Goddess of Love and Beauty. Many Epicanthix pray to Immus for the prosperity of their lineage, wishing for long life and many children to carry on their legacy. He is depicted wielding a sword and shield, the latter inscribed with the image of the extinct Panathan Boar.

Gelios
Gelios, also known as the Lawgiver, is the God of Sacrifice. He willingly relinquished most of his body to create the earth than the Epicanthix tread upon, with his blood becoming the mighty oceans and his bones becoming the Iron Mountains. What was left of his was his head which decreed the laws of space and time that all creatures, both god and mortal, abide by.

Lannai
Lannai is the Goddess of Weather and Trickery and is considered the most capricious of the Panathan deities. She, like the weather she commands, is prone to sudden shifts in mood and temperament. At a whim she can turn the most calming waves into great tidal waves that swallow entire ships, or a gentle drizzle into a torrential downpour that washes away entire villages. She is depicted wielding a staff of elements inscribed with the primordial symbols for fire, earth, water, and air.

Odrasil
Odrasil is the God of Intelligence and Protection. He defends the ethereal home of the gods and is credited with gifting sentience to the ancient Epicanthix. He is depicted with a giant shield and short battle-axe.

Nukheia
Nukheia is the Goddess of the Hunt, Vengeance, and Justice. Every court in the Pacanth Reach has a statue and shrine dedicated to her unfathomable wisdom and ability to pierce through any falsehood and discern the truth. She wields the scales of balance and the spear of truth.

Deified Kings
Canthar the Great was the first recorded king to be deified upon his death and exalted in the same manner as the gods. Many others have followed him, kings and queens who have made their mark on Epicanthix history. The current King of the Epicanthix, Kaine Zambrano, was deified upon his death at the hands of Kiskla Grayson. But he is the only Epicanthix King to return from the Netherworld of the Force to continue leading his people, earning him living divine status amongst the people he rules.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Totalitarian Theocratic Dictatorship
  • Affiliation:
    The First Order (Vassal Lord)
  • The Zambrano Family (Royal Ruling House)

[*]Wealth: The wealth of Panatha has fluctuated in recent decades due to its isolation and dark side affiliation. During the height of the One Sith Empire the trade to Panatha flourished and its people prospered, but when that Empire collapsed it found itself in a trade crisis which was relieved by trade deals with Commenor, Alderaan, and the patronage of the First Order.
[*]Stability: The stability of Panatha has finally begun to plateau after two near civil wars wracked its people, with Zambrano control becoming absolute after all rivals to the throne had been destroyed.
[*]Freedom & Oppression: The people of Panatha are ruled by a dictator, and thus life is monitored and thoroughly controlled. However; the Epicanthix people are a people who put strength above anything else, even civil liberties, and have welcomed their dictator, their God-King, with open arms and unadulterated reverence. So long as their leader can continue to exude strength and dominance, the people will continue to serve him willingly.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: The Epicanthix are a warrior people, their entire society and culture revolves around it. Their military is powerful, large, and equipped with advanced weaponry. Furthermore the planet boasts a considerable space and oceanic naval force, and is further protected by a pre-fabricated fortress courtesy of their First Order benefactors. To add to this are the God-King's private legions of soldiers, Sith, and other nefarious beasts and individuals.
  • Technology: Before the First Order's ascension the planet of Panatha was relatively lax on technological advancements besides the conventional means of space-faring transportation, communication, and basic weaponry. Once under their sphere of influence, every aspect of Panathan life was pushed into the modern age as a quasi-industrial revolution took place planet-wide. Everything was modernized and the Epicanthix began to slowly detach themselves from the nature they once co-existed with.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Since before recorded history it has always been known that the Epicanthix of Panatha were warriors, stalwart and unrelenting. They existed on a savage world populated with all manners of creatures that had evolved to kill and devour, even the plant-life of Panatha was carnivorous and often preyed on animals and those primitive Epicanthix unlucky enough to wander into their traps or vines.

But it had not always been that way.

In eons past during the height of the Rakatan Infinite Empire the ball of dirt and water that would become Panatha was uninhabited by sentient beings, its untamed wilds filled with creatures both voracious and benign. The planet was home to a far-flung outpost of the Infinite Empire where the powerful Rakatans would conduct experiments far from the glory of their Empire as to not risk contamination or disaster should calamity befall them. Great droves of Human slaves from the Core Worlds were transported to the planet to work as labor or serve as guinea pigs in the insidious Rakatan's vile experiments, many of them dying or becoming warped beyond all reason as the Rakatans toyed with their lesser subjects to their heart's content.

One of the more prudent experiments was to artificially alter the minds of slaves so that they could be more obedient to their Rakatan handlers, mainly to permanently put down any future slave revolts before they even began. However; their meddling led to a very different outcome than the one they were hoping for, and instead of becoming more subservient and enthralled to the Rakatans the experiments inexplicably gained a complete immunity to mental manipulation through the Force. Suddenly unable to control their slaves through the Dark Side of the Force, the Rakatan attempted to purge the entire slave population but found themselves embroiled as the slaves banded together to fight back against their oppressors. Roughly around that same time the Infinite Empire began to fall, and the planet that would be Panatha soon found itself alone in the vast emptiness of space once the slaves won their freedom.

The Rakatan's technology, viewed as heretical by the fledgling religion that sprung up among the now freed slaves; the Proto-Epicanthix, was destroyed and buried deep beneath the planet's surface. The Proto-Epicanthix may have been freed from the Rakatans, but now they faced a whole new menagerie of challenges in the wilds of their new world. The flora and fauna of Panatha had been twisted and warped by the Force-based technology of the Rakatans, growing larger, stronger, and more ferocious after years of Dark Side exposure that saturated everything living on the planet.

The Proto-Epicanthix ventured out to conquer the planet for themselves, the once centralized slave resistance fragmenting into smaller and smaller groups as they spread across the globe and began to settle down on fertile and defensible land. This dissolution gave rise to the various tribes and clans that would become extremely prominent in later Epicanthix culture, and the constant exposure to the harsh wilds forced the Proto-Epicanthix to evolve constantly with each generation to become stronger, more resilient, and be endowed with greater longevity to thrive and procreate to boost their tribal numbers. Because of their emphasis on survival, women were valued just as greatly as men were, and the distinction between genders in tribal duties became more and more blurred over time.

In this age of heroes of boundless strength, cunning, and guile arose a man by the humble name of Canthar. Hailing from the verdant grasslands and foothills of the Panathan Highlands, his birth was accompanied by a prophecy of doom that fostered great fear and resentment in his father; the chief of the dominant tribe in the region. On the eve of his birth the skies were bathed in brilliant lights as a cluster of comets passed through Panatha's atmosphere before crashing down into the nearby sea with a great eruption of boiling steam and billowing waves. The priests observing the birth concluded that the boy would grow up to become a usurper, a slayer of kings that would bring all tribes to ruin.

His mother, fearing for the boy's life, fled with the aid of her handmaidens and other loyalists into the vast wildlands surrounding the village. To save his life she gave the young Canthar to her most trusted and most capable handmaiden, entrusting her to raise him in secret far from the murderous eyes of her fearful husband. In the mountains the young Canthar would grow and mature into a powerful warrior, knowledgeable in the arts and sciences of his people, and a prolific poet.

At the age of twenty he ventured down from his mountain home and back into the grasslands of his people. He learned that his father had long since died and had given the title of chief to his second son, Canthar's younger brother, a weak and vacillating youth that completely at the whims of his ambitious mate. Canthar strode boldly into the chief's tent during a summit of the chief and his councilors, and challenged the chief to combat as per the ancient rites of their forefathers. The chief knew that he was no warrior, and he substituted himself with many of the tribe's best and most cunning warriors to take down this brazen usurper.

Canthar proved to be unparalleled in combat, and deftly defeated each and every one of the weak chief's best warriors. But instead of killing them, he extended his mercy to them out of respect for their battle prowess. Seeing that this challenger was far superior than their current chief, the surviving warriors pledged their allegiance to Canthar. The greatest of these men was the warrior Decius who would prove to be second only to Canthar and would become his greatest friend and most trusted confidant in the following decades. With the backing of the tribe's warriors, Canthar ruthlessly slew the weak chief and his scheming mate, ensuring that they could neither plot nor scheme behind his back as he assumed the role of tribal chief.

Immediately he sought on making reforms, drifting away from his people's stationary ways and drilling them into a mobile army of highly trained and powerful warriors. Canthar did this because long ago he perceived a great vision atop the Iron Mountains where the gods delivered onto him a glimpse of his destiny in which all Epicanthix, regardless of tribe or location, bowed before his supreme might as Emperor of all Panatha. If he was to accomplish such a task then he would have to drag his people from the mire of isolation that they had willingly allowed themselves to be consumed by for centuries.

Once that was completed, the next great hurdle was to bring all of the separate tribes of the Panathan Highlands under his banner. To do so he sent out many envoys to the different clans to offer them a place amidst his growing army, and while many readily accepted his call for unification there were many others who openly rejected, some even going as far as murdering his messengers and sending back ruined body parts. This did not perturb Canthar in the slightest, he expected many of the clans to turn away his diplomatic call and now he had the perfect excuse to bring them under his banner by force.

The armies of Canthar spread out across the Highlands, conquering and incorporating every village they came across that did not immediately concede to them. Unruly chiefs were executed while those who proved amiable to elevated as Canthar's lieutenants and continued to command their own people within Canthar's army. Within a year the whole of the Highlands was under Canthar's absolute control, his consolidation over the various tribes complete. All previously existing villages had been swept away, including Canthar's own, but the massive army still needed a place to rest and resupply from. After much scouting a fertile strip of land adjacent to a natural harbor was selected to be the capital of the new state that Canthar was building. Initially the settlement would be called Panath by Canthar himself, but upon his eventual death many decades later his people would rename it Canthar in his honor.

In time the Epicanthix under Canthar would spread out across the continent, assimilating or conquering smaller tribes and establishing outposts to better control their most distant territories. The greatest of these outposts would become city-states in their own right after the dissolution of Canthar's empire, Cropis, Prethia, Khedal, Qocia, and Gekha.

At the end of the fifty year campaign to unite the Epicanthix into a singular people, Canthar's empire stretched from the Blackmoor Marsh to the Lasian Riverlands to the highest peaks of the Iron Mountains. Regional languages eventually disappeared and were replaced by a universal tongue known as Epicant. Currency and religion were also made universal, and over the centuries people eventually forgot their ancient tribal heritage and stopped seeing themselves in that manner. The final ties to the ancient past would be fully swept away in the years leading to the outbreak of the galactic conflict known as the Great Galactic War.

Many Epicanthix took part in the war as mercenaries, hiring themselves out to the highest bidder regardless of affiliation. Many found a place within the Sith Empire and fought as soldiers and intelligence agents, their immunity to mind tricks making them invaluable assets to whomever could purchase their services. Meanwhile on Panatha the houses of Tamás -- the descendants of Decius -- and Luctacus -- the descendants of Canthar -- united in political marriage to connect the two kingdoms of Canthar and Gekha under a single dynasty, ushering in a line of Luctacus Kings and Queens that would remain unbroken for nearly four thousand years.

Under the great king Ulric VI Luctacus the Epicanthix expanded beyond their homeworld of Panatha to conquer the neighboring planets of Bunduki, Fornow, Ravaath, and Sorimow during the Clone Wars. Many of the native non-Epicanthix inhabitants were pushed out and replaced by Epicanthix colonists who constructed new cities over the bones of the natives and forcefully indoctrinated those that remained in their culture and religion while simultaneously pressing them into slavery. These ruthless war-like actions earned the ire of the Galactic Republic, making the Epicanthix an ally of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

One of the more notable Epicanthix to gain fame in this era of war was the mercenary / bounty hunter Jarex Zambrano, the son of a little known family from Prethia with a voracious hunger for adventure plagued by avarice. He fought openly for the Separatist Alliance and scored many kills on Republic soldiers and officers during the war, raking in a good quantity of wealth for his family back on Panatha. Because of his Separatist payroll the Zambranos were able to rise up through obscurity and became moderately wealthy, building a large estate up in the Iron Mountains south of Prethia. Their wealth and newfound influence bought them political favors among the nobles of Prethia, and eventually they schemed their way into ruling Prethia and swindling away the wealth and assets of their rivals.

However; the Confederacy would eventually lose the Clone Wars and the whole Pacanth Reach would be brought under the control of an Imperial Governor named Enrsim Warhais, a Human from Procopia who knew the ins and outs of multi-planetary economics and would improve the Reach's financial systems and methods of crop production that brought in bounties of wealth for the Epicanthix people. Despite their ties to the Confederacy the Epicanthix people were allowed some degree of autonomy and could continue to be ruled by a monarch so long as that monarch remained subservient to the Imperial governor.

Eventually the Galactic Empire that rose from the Clone Wars would fall, and the Epicanthix would be freed from the yoke placed around them. Even so they would adopt many Imperial customs and would become a hotspot for Imperial sympathizers and holdouts that fled the persecution of the New Republic and subsequent republican governments. During this time the line of Luctatus monarchs would finally be broken for the first time in millennia as King Desiderius Veturias of Cropis ascended the throne, and would eventually rule for nearly a hundred years before getting embroiled in a war on Panatha between the ruling Epicanthix and the Fanalis, a feline race of warriors that had always been made subservient to the Epicanthix for untold generations.

Out of this war would arise another hero of legends, Lord Magnus Zambrano. Magnus was a soldier, a general in the royal army of King Desiderius, and he was known throughout Epicanthix society as the most capable and brutal of Epicanthix generals to command the royal army. During the War between the Epicanthix and the neighboring Fanalis it was Magnus who acted as the spearhead of the royal army, always the first to charge into the breach with his crimson armor and sword to cut down Fanalis until their corpses formed massive mounds that his soldiers had to scramble over to advance.

It was for his brutality and courage that he was known planet-wide as Magnus the Red, not only for his signature crimson armor but for the rivers of blood his sword created every time he swung it. Thanks to Magnus the Fanalis were thoroughly conquered and their people enslaved by the Epicanthix, yet many Fanalis would escape off-world and form complex societies of their own before being hunted back to their native homeworld many centuries later. Because of Magnus' greatness he was appointed to the royal council of King Desiderius, and upon the King's unfortunate passing he was one of many who claimed the royal throne thanks to the late king being unable to sire an heir to continue his line.

There were only a scant few who dared to contend with Magnus' claim to the throne, so great was his legendary status that many readily accepted the rule of such a well-known war hero. Those that did fell before his crimson blade, their heads cleaved from their shoulders by the experienced soldiers who served under him. Magnus became the first Zambrano monarch to rule the Epicanthix people, and on the back of Fanalis slaves he built monumental works that have since been lost to time during the Four-Hundred Year Darkness. But for his magnificent works he was known far and wide as Magnus the Great, before he was deposed by his son, Solomon.

While Solomon and Magnus may have seemed to be carbon copies of one another, it was a tragic accident that skewed Solomon's path away from that of his father's. Crippled during the Fanalis War, Solomon was doomed to be made a mockery and cast out by his own people. Solomon wandered the wastes and jungles alone for many weeks, his body shriveling away day by day until the skin had been pulled taut around his bones. The thought of ending his own life and escaping this suffering crossed his mind many a time during his exile, but he was willed onward by some dark influenced that beckoned him to travel to the wilderness of the Iron Mountains. There he found an ancient temple long forgotten, and after delving inside he found a deep reservoir of knowledge relating to the ancient Sith.

With his body broken, but his mind sharp, he put himself to work studying the ancient texts left behind by those dark warriors and sorcerers of old. Eventually the knowledge he obtained allowed him to mend his crippled form, and he returned to Epicanthix society once all that could be learned from the ancient texts was his and his alone. But he didn't immediately return to Canthar nor his people's estate in Prethia. Instead he traveled to Qocia, and began to study the intricacies of the Epicanthix religion. Through his newfound malign abilities he began to influence the high clergy of Qocia, twisting their bodies and placing sinister wards upon their bodies that made them wholly subservient to him.

It was after he turned the clergy to his will that he finally returned to his father, and with one monstrous blast of Dark Side energy he stripped the flesh from Magnus' bones and completely annihilated his spirit. Solomon quickly crowned himself the new King of Panatha, and with the backing of the puppet clergy none could stand against him as he spread his dark gospel across the planet. Soon enough he had enslaved the entirety of the Epicanthix people, and was officially elevated as a god by the clergy not long after. He cast off his mortal name Solomon for a new name, that of Nemeroth; God of Death, and set his people to work on fashioning a massive underground citadel to serve as the new capital of his dark empire.

However; Solomon's darkness would not go unnoticed for too long, and the Galactic Federation Triumvirate quickly became aware of his debased rule over the Epicanthix. They dispatched an entire fleet along with a legion of a thousand Jedi and Imperial Knights to put an end to his wrongful rule, and after many months of siege and brutal fighting they finally breached his subterranean fortress and took the fight directly to Solomon. Many Jedi died during the battle, their corpses still littering the ruins of the black citadel to this day, but in the end they were able to sunder Solomon's spirit and bury his blasphemous citadel beneath the earth. With his death the entire Epicanthix population was free from his control, and they quickly stripped away all mention of him from the historical and theological records and elected a new king to rule them.

Despite Solomon's death, the damage done to the Zambrano family was irreversible. They were the ones most susceptible to his darkness, and had become just as debased and depraved as he was. Because of the wrongs imposed on the Epicanthix people, many Zambranos were executed while those that survived the mobs retreated to their mountain fortress and sealed the doors behind them. Because of such stigma they were unable to properly mingle with the rest of their people, and resorted to incest to prevent their family tree from dying out. But such couplings bore monstrous off-spring, deformed both physically and mentally, yet the descendants of Solomon were unable to prevent themselves from partaking in such debauchery.

Eventually the Epicanthix people would forget the atrocities committed by Solomon and his ilk thanks to the combined efforts of their purposeful historical censoring and the Gulag Plague that ravaged the galaxy and plunged it into four hundred years of darkness and isolation. During that time the Epicanthix devolved back into separate nations and tribes rather than a central government, with each city-state raising their own king or queen to rule them. Wars would be waged over land that they had collectively owned just several generations prior, and all of the Reach would be plunged into chaos for centuries.

But the isolation would soon end and the fog of the plague eventually dispelled all across the galaxy, and all of Panatha would once again be united under a Luctacus King -- King Hotep. Hotep raised his son, Nasir, to eventually succeed him upon his death. However; none of that would come to pass as the Zambrano family returned from their self-imposed exile back into Panathan politics. Led by the young, but powerful, Kaine Zambrano, the once reviled family sought to claim the throne for themselves. Kaine challenged King Hotep to single combat, and utterly annihilated the older king with his mastery of the Dark Side of the Force.

With the old king destroyed and his supporters scattered to the winds, Kaine installed himself as the new King of Panatha and set out to force all city-states to bend the knee before him. Some, like Cropis and Prethia readily submitted to his power and authority, while states like Khedal and Gekha openly opposed him. King Kaine organized his vast force of Imperials, Graug, and Sith to lay siege to Gekha while a smaller force of native Epicanthix would storm the Island of Cule from Cropis and deny Gekhis the support of Khedal's massive oceanic navy. With the advent of dropships and gunships the storming of Khedal was a trivial matter, and the city's leaders surrendered only after a week of fighting in the city. They were promptly executed and new pro-Kaine loyalists were installed in their place.

The Siege of Gekha was another matter entirely. The entire city had fortified itself while Khedal was being brought to heel, and it served as the largest congregation of the old regime's supporters who rallied behind Prince Nasir -- styled as the True King Nasir. King Kaine summoned his Graug siegecrafters to bombard Gekha's walls and interior with their living artillery, gargantuan Glycons striding across the marshy riverlands with massive cannons bolted to their scaly hides. Molten metal rained down upon Gekha as the winged Vanr weaved through the air casting their Sith magic upon the wall's defenders while others fly high above the low cloud cover and dumped great vats of boiling pitch upon their homes, setting wood and stone alight with mystical flames.

Three months had passed as the Siege slowly began to turn in the favor of King Kaine, the battered defenders supporting Nasir were dwindling as their supply routes were cut and they faced mounting losses every day. King Kaine employed a brutal tactic in depriving the defenders of any hope for respite, he would split his assault force into two equally sized portions. One would remain behind at his camp resting and preparing for battle while the other would constantly attack the walls before falling back and being replaced with fresh troops. Not even during the night did he allow them a moment's rest, often increasing the number of raids during the nighttime hours.

Eventually the morale of the defenders would crumble, and they would offer a surrender while Prince Nasir and his most trusted followers were smuggled out of the city through an old forgotten aqueduct. King Kaine initially accepted the terms of the surrender, but when the battered defenders flung open their gates he ordered his forces to storm and lay waste to the city. Thousands burned as the forces of King Kaine ravaged Gekha, destroying ancient monuments and butchering anyone they could find. By the end of the sack the entire city would be laid to waste, its buildings completely demolished right down to their foundations.

Eventually a new city would be built upon the ruins of Old Gekha, but none of its former monuments would be represented in the city devoted to the strength of King Kaine. Qocia was left untouched during the entire campaign, as it was the holiest of Epicanthix cities and none, not even Kaine, would commit the sacrilege of bringing war to Qocia.

Yet Kaine was not satisfied with just ruling Panatha, he had read deeply into the ancient texts detailing the grand wars of Ulric VI in which the whole Pacanth Reach was brought under control of the crown of Panatha. Seeking to emulate this, Kaine prepared a massive invasion force that would sweep across all worlds within the Reach and force them to bend the knee in a similar fashion to how he united Panatha. The campaign would last years, but by the end of it all the entire Pacanth Reach would be ruled by one King -- Kaine Zambrano.

To the Graug he awarded the planet Fornow, whom Kaine fought the brave Fornosi King Dorn Haberon the Uniter for dominion of the world and was utterly victorious. The Graug would devastate the once bountiful forests of Fornow, rendering the world a wasteland of mines, quarries, and bogs of fetid corruption. To the winged Vanr he gifted the mountainous world of Ravaath where they could build their glorious city-spires amidst the countless peaks. In time the skies would become dominated by the Vanr, with themselves living atop the mountains nearest to the sky while the non-Vanr were forced to live in the canyons and valleys beneath the mountains, away from the Vanr's vainglorious civilization.

For the first time since the Clone Wars the entire Pacanth Reach was united under one King, one supreme monarch. However, dissent brewed on Bunduki. Nasir and his supporters had hid themselves away on Bunduki, slowly amassing power and supporters as they plotted to eventually overthrow the usurper king and reclaim their former glory as the highest nobility of Panatha. Yet it seemed that King Kaine's reign would end young as he was slain by the Jedi Master Kiskla Grayson in his mountain castle of Vain Hollow, and while the details of his death were kept a secret it wouldn't be long before the actual news of his death would filter down through to the population.

Nasi and his insurrectionists struck, their secretly amassed fleet striking out from Bunduki to lay siege to Panatha. In rapid succession they deployed their armies to blockade the cities that remained loyal to the deceased King while the city of Khedal overthrew its pro-Kaine leaders and pledged themselves to Nasir's cause. Nasir himself personally led an attack on the capital of Canthar, intent to capturing and holding the city long enough to be formally coronated as Panatha's true King. Yet on the verge of victory the tide began to turn as new Imperial flotillas emerged over Panatha, shattering Nasir's loyalist fleet in a brutal surprise attack.

Imperials of the One Sith Empire had arrived to end the Civil War.

They were led by the reborn Kaine Zambrano who had traversed the endless realms of the Netherworld and returned fully restored and more powerful than ever before. He led the charge to relieve the siege of Canthar, and hunted down the treacherous Nasir within the Royal Palace and partook in a vicious lightsaber duel that raged throughout the throne room and up onto the palace's roof. Little did Kaine know that Nasir's most trusted loyalists had placed explosives in the palace's foundation and were in the process of detonating them as the Imperials overran their comrades. Vast eruptions enveloped the palace's lower levels, and caused a chain reaction that began to bring the whole structure down to the ground.

Enraged, Kaine flung Nasir from the roof with a massive Force push and quickly leapt down after him. The fall had shattered Nasir's body, but the fallen prince still had enough life in him to taunt and curse the Sith Lord as the monument to his vanity crumbled down behind him. Kaine silenced the Prince by ripping his head off with his bare hands. With Nasir's death the Civil War came to a swift end, his remaining supporters either surrendering or leading one last suicide charge to die on the swords of their foes. Nasir's skull would be gilded in gold and placed above Kaine Zambrano's throne in the new palace he built over the debris of his former palace in Canthar.

Because the Epicanthix deify their rulers upon their deaths, the reborn Kaine was considered by many, especially the clergy that was loyal to him, as a god given physical form -- a God-King. He did not supplant the existing Panathan Gods, but he was now considered among their ranks as a wholly divine ruler, the first in Panatha's vast history. He would continue to hold such lofty titles many years later even after the One Sith Empire falls and the First Order rises to envelop the Reach within its territory, with Kaine allying himself with the First Order to combat the degenerate Galactic Alliance and their failing democracy.
