Padawan Adventures.... They're.... Grate

What do you do when you get several padawans together with less to do? Send them all on a trip to explore. With all of the advancements that had been being made in the work for the jedi... Well Orihime sat there looking over some of the things to get her full attention on it. The ship was plain but had been given most of the gear the padawans could use like the circlet hat she could wear for environmental protection and in the jungles on this world the seeder ships had revealed she was rather expecting it.

She was wearing her robes and the sigil around her neck and the earrings as she could feel the soothing sensation of it. Slowly letting her hands secure the saber on her hip with a smile. The world was a beautiful place with a large cluster of islands where they were landing and massive toppled statues. The ship tuching down to leave them plenty of places to go out and explore. Her hands went to her hair as the back length hair she was pulling up into a ponytail. She secured it with a ribbon before moving through the ship. The

padawan had invited her friend Sorel, the young padawan was talented and her mothers students that pretty much made her someone important the young girl could meet offering a smile with more of the others there. Her robes secured and ready for anything while she finished securing the boots letting them auto fit once her feet were ready for anything. Adventure, excitement, laughter awaited them before she grabbed one of the tactical cans and bottles of milk from her mothers group. The drink flavored lightly with banana as its yellow color made it taste sort of like candy but she could eat and drink standing there on the ramp looking out at all of the islands.

Major Locations:

Tarya Archipeligos: The remains within the southern hemisphere, what looked like a massive landmass at one point until the ice caps melted and submerged the largest sections. Thousands of islands ranging from the small to the medium city sized remained. Dotted with massive statues depicting different beings that have been worn away with time until the features to tell them apart are mostly smoothed over.

Sakashi Ruins: Found within one of the main islands in the chain, the ancient temple is built from imported (for the area) stone that is a bleached white against the overgrown jungle and at the mouth of a large cave leading down into the island. THere isn't much left topside or even in the chambers below save some pottery and woodworked pieces.

Matika: An ancient Sarlacc that grew on an island in the middle of the ocean and over thousands of years became massive and ancient. By the time the civilization on Sangral vanished it was a dangerous things that ships went past. With the rising of the oceans it has become a sea monster the unwary fall pray to when exploring the ancient kingdoms in the oceans.

Yigdra City: Overgrown remains of an ancient city on the continents. The dense jungle that surrounds the city has several trails through it and some streams leading out to the ocean. Inside the city it is quiet with most of the homes or businesses still holding what stock was on the shelves or caked on dust. Some collapsed structures across the city make going around harder on foot unless you have the equipment to cut through the jungle vines.

Arkashi Square: The area near the main government build or at least suspected, there was not much to go on when the exploration party was on the world and with everything in the city they did not stay long. The monuments outside have become something of an interesting to the researchers and droids assigned as it contains at its core a polished hypergem.

[x] - Ore Discovered
Manufacturer: Sangral
Model: Crafting Material
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Can be used in a variety of materials
Production: Mass-Produced. (Anyone.)
Material:
Description: Discovered on Sangral by the small Silver Sanctum padawan pack, the Sleg is used in most of the structures built on the world. The stone itself is super dense, super heavy mineral with superconductive properties and the ability to amplify energy when used. It can be made as a containment of a reactor to exponentially increase the power output of it for powering cities or ships. The structures of the world are still able to stand long after the population died out and nature reclaimed the cities shows its durability. There is also a versatility to it that comes from the processing of it. Into a heavier isotope after being processed and a small amount is highly stable able to be used for power sources and supplies in weapons to increase the damage output. Manufacturing and processing the ore is simple enough and it is present throughout the planet allowing it to get into the water and bodies of those who visit. Inert and not dangerous until it is processed and weaponized.

Ready are you? What know you of ready?

Exploration. If there was one thing Sorel liked above all else, it was exploration. She’d spent the last two years travelling around the galaxy, visiting various sites of historical significance to the Jedi and had thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As she drank the yellow milk she’d recently been introduced to and, quite frankly, had become addicted to, she realised she was wrong.

There was something she liked much better than exploration. And that was exploring with friends. Solo had worked for a while in her life, but not now. Now she needed company and especially Orihime’s. It was great to spend time with her Master, but being with another Padawan gave her a freedom she could not expect when travelling with Master Ike. But Padawan Ike? Well that was entirely different.

She put on her standard Jedi robes, all dark brown in hue and her unique tabard – still brown but of animal hide as opposed to material. She clipped her two sabers to her belt and pulled on her bracelet. She’d been spending less time wearing it, she was worried it had made her soft to the elements, but on a trip like this one? She figured they might need every edge they could find.

So she headed off to meet up with her fellow Padawans as they looked to boldly go (or was that go boldly) into the unknown. Life didn’t get any better than this.

Valae had packed her rucksack with much enthusiasm earlier that morning, excited for a new adventure with fellow padawans of the sanctum. It had been quite a while since she’d made time to socialize with others, as she had been spending a lot of her time studying and practicing her saber skills. She was sure that this voyage would be a welcomed change to her daily routine. She sat alone on the shuttle, but her eyes glanced about the other occupants every now and then. There were faces that she’d seen around the Silver Temple, but she had never interacted with any of these padawans before. She was hoping that this trip would result in a few new friendships.

As the shuttle touched down she stepped out along-side [member="Orihime Ike"] and looked in awe at the islands that awaited them. There was also another young woman present, and Valae turned her gaze to [member="Sorel Crieff"], a pleasant smile on her face.

“Hi!” She said brightly to both of them. “I’m Valae, by the way. I don’t think we’ve met before.”

When Aris had found out that a couple of Padawans were organizing an exploration trip, he was at first reluctant to go. He had come here to seek to develop his potential in the Force and eventually return to his homeworld powerful enough along with a force that would help him reinstate monarchy back in his democratic City State of Attika. Hailing from the only dynasty that ever ruled as monarchs the City State of Attika, Aris believed he had to live up to the legacy. Yet, his reluctance faded when he realized that with such a trip he not only would enrich his general knowledge about the galaxy but possibly forge relationships with other equal-ranked force users that in the long run might be the ones helping him in his conquest of Attika.

Thus, the Hellyn now found himself on board a larger than usual shuttle with the rest of the padawans. He had spent most of his time in his personal quarter contemplating his future and meditating as Abaigeal E'ron had guided him to. He still found it a bit hard but the practice with the Jedi Knight had certainly cleared some flaws of his. When it was announced that the shuttle was landing, Aris moved towards the exit of the ship where he found a few of the other Padawans. They were all girls, two looked younger than him while one which was currently introducing herself looked his age, at least by his judgement.

"Ladies. Aris, Second of His Name, Son of Damocles." He nodded to the two he did not know yet personally and then to the only one he knew of the three - Sorel Crieff. "Padawan Crieff." He had known her due to the crisis on board of the Silver Sanctum's Coalition flagship. (I believe this occurs AFTER that thread, correct me if I am wrong)

The ramp opened up and the islands that could be seen dotting the horizon nostalgically reminded him of his homeworld of Hora. It was full of islands. Seas and sand. He did hail from an astonishingly beautiful planet and the view infront of him reminded him of it.

Ever since he'd boarded the shuttle Nikias had been more active on the ship often leaving and exploring it. Spending his time learning more about the mechanics of it. Things he could possibly take back home to his people and they could use in their ship building. He had always been an inquisitive person and this adventure was proof of it. Nikias was one that preferred to learn more about things the galaxy had to offer than to train himself in battles or the force. He'd not even sought out a master among the Silver Sanctum due to such things, instead he'd train with his uncle back on his homeworld in his down time. There were many things the galaxy at large did that the Hellyni people were far behind in, such as their treatment of others. Especially with very few planets practicing slavery. While he could not break the traditions of the entire people he could at least change the Makrosian kingdom when he ascended to the throne.

When the ship reached its destination Nikias dawned the circlet that he'd been gifted. He'd been told about its uses when it had been granted to him, and while he could be one of those people that would brave the elements without it he chose not to be. Much wiser to conserve such energy for when times they truly needed it as he had no clue what dangers their adventures would hold. Descending the ramp Nikias caught sight of the four other padawans. Three of which he knew and one he didn't, but the one that truly caught his attention was [member="Aris II"] . "Good evening." Nikias said as he stepped off the ships ramp and up to the other padawans. "It’s good to see you again, Aris, Orihime and Sorel." Nikias said though his eyes bore into Aris for a second before turning to the women he did not yet know offering a respectful incline of his head. "I am Nikias, First Prince of Makrosia. It is a pleasure to meet you."

While normally sociable and curious towards her fellow Padawans, Joza spent the majority of the flight curled up in the corner of her seat. The pink skinned woman had just gotten over a bad stomach bug and wasn’t exactly feeling the best. Her youth allowed her to bounce back quickly from it and regain her natural energy, but her stomach unfortunately was still a bit of a mess. Even the movement of the ship and the smell of the flavored milk was enough to get her insides churning, but she held it back with the sheer force of willpower, and maybe some of the actual Force.

Okay, she was actually hungover.

Last night was the first time the Zeltron had allowed herself to cut loose, casually meandering her way to a pub in Voss-ka after her usual training. It had been a while since she’d indulged in her more primal tendencies, so her tolerance was…low. Hey, it wasn’t like she’d gotten all dolled up and partied all night at some sketchy club on Narr Shaddaa, right? Actually, that sounded kind of tempting.

Thankfully she was able to cover the sallow skin under her eyes with some color-correcting concealer, though there was no hiding the fatigue in her posture. Heavy drinking was probably a poor choice to make before going on an exploration, but it seemed like a good idea at the time, right? Joza winced as the ship landed, her stomach lurching. A few sips of water from her canteen helped to settle it, and she decided to join the others before they’d gotten too far ahead.

With a soft groan, the woman pushed herself up and found her way to the mouth of the ship. For the first time, she let her eyes fall over the other Padawans. She grunted in greeting to [member="Sorel Crieff"] and [member="Nikias"], the only two she recognized immediately. Taking another swig from her canteen, Joza shifted her weight to one foot and decided to introduce herself. “ ‘M Joza. Padawan.” The response was short, pained and somewhat grumbled. Moving further down the exit ramp, she shielded her eyes from the sudden burst of sunlight. “This place is too bright.” She muttered lowly against the mouth of the canteen, adjusting the godsend of a headband that would keep her body temperature regulated. The outside likely wouldn’t appear as bright to the other Padawans, but to the hungover woman…yeah.

"Utinni!"

The Jawa of Justice leapt across the chasm, bravely braving the gap over the solar reactor. The intrepid epistellar adventurer Jono Jawa had stolen aboard an Imperial prison transport in order to rescue...

...the small Nautolan stopped, pausing as he tried to think of that part of the story.

A small action figure depicting a Jawa wearing a fedora was held in one hand, as the youngling flitted about the small corner of the ship where he'd settled down to play. He was making up the story as he went, of course. Sound effects, dialog... it was a very involved cinematic process, the comings and goings of a youngling's imagination.

Standing up on his knees, the green-skinned boy shuffled over to where toys spilled out from the inside of the small backpack containing the items he'd brought with him for the trip. His toothbrush and other things were packed in there, too, but the most important part were the essentials that would keep him entertained on the voyage.

In fact, the youngling had been so absorbed in his imagination play that he'd been oblivious to the fact that the ship had arrived at its destination, much less landed for its passengers to depart. It was only after a Zeltron had passed near where the boy played that he looked up and realized people were leaving the ship. Except, how were they leaving the ship if it was in space? Unless...

Popping up to his feet, the green-skinned child sprinted toward the hatch, leaving behind his toys strewn messily across the area of the ship's deck where he'd been playing. Sliding to a halt at the top of the ramp. Beyond the skin of the ship, an alien horizon presented a brave new world before the Nautolan's dark eyes. "We're HEEEEEEERRRRRRRRREEEEEEEE!" the child cheered, in what was certainly not an 'inside voice' as he threw both arms wildly overhead.

Then his arms dropped back down a moment later, as the child seemed less than confident. "...uh, where's here?" the boy asked, to not one in particular and possibly not even expecting an answer.

And, indeed, before most people could have processed the boy's question, much less supplied an answer, the child's attention was pulled to something that was more than familiar. "OCEAN! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah-stral!" the young Nautolan chirped in a sing-song voice. Two second attention span? Not even.

Stubby head-tails whirled through the air, as the child's head swiveled in search of the resident adult type person in charge. Settling on [member="Orihime Ike"], the boy hopped closer to the young woman and eagerly begged, "Pada... Padawan Ike, can... can, like, I go swimming?"

Wet meant happy and happy was a wet Nautolan.

The islands were there spreading out and seeing the other padawans around them now she smiled. This was a fun adventure party while she saw Zak and could hear him turning to look at the padawan terror of Voss. "I don't see why not, we are likely going to have to swim from through the islands if we can't walk. You can be our scout in case there is any native fish life." She was curious about discovering what was here on the world. Her attention going to the one padawan who asked the question and she spoke. "The world doesn't have a name just a designation Quiet gave it. PBX-225." She shrugged while looking over some of the things there seeing Joza and the zeltron was always interesting. Their pheromones might make it interesting as she kept her falleen pheromones under control moving to look at the others. "So where do you guys think we should start?"

((OOC: Posting before my turn due to possibility of being unable to respond until tomorrow night ))

Aris was observing the beautiful scenery from the open ramp of the ship after he had made the necessary introduction. His nostalgic feeling was interrupted by a very familiar voice to him, one he would not forget anytime soon at all - the voice of Nikias. The Prince of Makrosia, an Hellyn just like him, was the perpetrator of the raid on one vassal city state to Aris' home City State of Attika back on their homeworld of Hora. It had been Aris' first real combat scenario, he had still been in his military service when he and his platoon of recruits from the military service had to engage the Makrosians' fierce raid that had resulted in numerous deaths. It was the tactics of suicidal bombings that Nikias employed which had affected Aris most of all and he detested the man. Aris still remembers well their showdown where he had pierced the prince's torso with his lightsaber, unfortunately the strike being fatal, and in return Aris had been knocked out by the Makrosian being left for dead until Attikan reinforcements had come up to rescue him.

They eyes locked for a moment and the Attikan, despite his calm and composed demeanor, projected distaste in his eyes towards Nikias. Deep inside, he still craved of vengeance but this was not the time nor the place. Besides, more or less, the ideals that the Silver Sanctum stood for were already, to some degree, reflecting on the black-haired Hellyn. He remained in silence to the prince's greeting and turned his look towards the new arrival - a red-haired Zeltron padawan with the behavior of a last night drinker. She had introduced herself as Joza.

Aris knew her kind well... too well. The hedonistic lifestyle of the Attikans and generally of the Hellyn was similiar to the Zeltrons' culture although not to such an extreme level as the near-humans. Furthermore, most, if not all, Zeltrons on his homeworld of Hora were slaves, with all of the females being employed in brothels. Unlike most of the galaxy, slavery was perceived as normal to the Hellyni, despite the decline of such population eras ago due to the introduction of droids. Yet, brothel employment could not be substituted by droids along with some other professions and all slaves, nowadays, belonged to wealthier families such as Aris' family.

Speaking of slaves and his family, the appearance of a Nautolan youngling, surprisingly, brought within him a small feeling of guilt. One of his family's personal slaves, for a short time, had been a Nautolan man. They were a race that both could live on the land and in the water, the latter being the dominant habitat. Thus, their slave craved for a swim as the youngling now was demonstrating, his mother being more exposed to foreign culture had released the slave feeling guilty. She had numerous times commented on how their Nautolan slave looked as a bird without wings due to being denied swimming - the reason for that was their possible escape.
Aris, on the other hand, during his youth never much enjoyed the concept of slavery but it had been engraved so deep in their culture it was easily accepted by him. Yet, it seemed, the more he was exposed to foreign culture and way of life, the more guilty he felt. Especially with the childish behaviour that the young Nautolan expressed.

Nodding to the Zeltron he reintroduced himself as she had not been along with the rest when Aris had introduced himself:

"Aris, Second of His Name, Son of Damocles." He bluntly said to the pink-skinned Zeltron and a rare small smile was painted on his face when he looked at the Nautolan who was exploding with impatience to have fun.

Orihime Ike said:
"So where do you guys think we should start?"

Aris, being taught by his father the behaviour of a monarch and his emphasis on leadership, answered first to the question asked by Orihime:

"I'd say we follow the coastline, either north or south. If inhabited, there ought to be a settlement close to the coast." He stated, basing his logic on how his own race had evolved. Living near coasts and large basins of water with arable land. "And as you said - perhaps the Nautolan could find native fish life or even settlements on the islands."

Valae nodded in greeting to the young man that had just introduced himself as Aris. The way he had announced his name made her smile, it sounded so regal in comparison to her own. It appeared that he was already acquainted to Orihime and Sorel.

Her attention was taken in a new direction when Nikias approached the group and she smiled as he introduced himself. A prince? Valae figured that this was the first time she had ever met someone that was considered nobility. This made the humble girl from Tatooine feel even more so like a bumpkin. She noticed how his eyes seemed to linger on the other man, perhaps they had something of a history...

“Nice to meet you.” She said with a nod.

Next came the flame haired Joza, and Valae noticed immediately that the other woman appeared to be a bit under the weather. She thought that she had seen Padawan Perl around the Silver Temple before, but had never had the chance meet her.

And then there was Zak! Valae still remembered the first time she met Zak, and she smiled at the thought. The youngling had been wearing a cape and carrying a stolen cafeteria menu, deep in the midst of imaginary adventures.

“Are we going to go as a group, or are we splitting up?” She asked, looking to the other padawans for their opinions.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel was amazed. What seemed like a matter of a few weeks ago, she knew no-one and felt something of an outsider. Now she was looking at a group of individuals she knew well, or at least most of them. And of course they weren't individuals, they were a group. A pack. A Padawan Pack.

So she nodded and smiled to everyone in turn as they chatted and decided on the best way ahead. She was happy to defer to those that had an idea for now, so she used the time to chat to those she knew.

"Hi Valae. I'm Sorel and no, I don't think we've met, but I suspect we'll know each other by the end of this jaunt."

"Hi Aris, a less impressive entrance this time?" She smiled warmly, there was no malice in her words, none at all.

To Nikia she nodded and said, "This looks like it's going to be a lot of fun."

She smiled at Joza, wondered if excesses were to blame for the fact the Padawan found the sun too bright. She knew she was a Jedi that enjoyed life to the full. And finally there was the Nautolan - as of life as the rest of them added together. Whatever he had for breakfast, she wanted some. Then, realising what sort of food he probably ate, she quickly withdrew that thought.

[member="Valae Kitra"] [member="Aris II"] [member="Orihime Ike"] [member="Zak Dymo"] [member="Joza Perl"] [member="Nikias"]

Nikias was kind of shocked by how many padawans that had been gathered in one place, on such a beautiful world at that. He could see the water sparkling as the sun shined down on it, this seemed like the perfect vacation spot. Seeing the small nautolan rushing by and begging to swim Nikias couldn't help but smile watching the small boy. He had plenty of siblings back on his homeworld though none had been as active as the small nautolan. It was cute in a way. With everyone else being older than the nautolan it seemed like there wouldn't be any need to worry about the boy getting hurt which was a silver lining. Nikias probably would never forgive himself if something like that were to happen. "Maybe you need to take a nice cold swim." Nikias said tauntingly back to Joza calling her out. He had been out with her once before and knew what she was like personally so the manner in which she arrived wasn't really to shocking.

"Yes I agree Sorel. Though if we get to lazy on this planet how will we explain it to the masters?" He asked jokingly. So far the planet did look like something out of ones dream or straight from a brochure advertising a vacation hot spot. "I would think that being together would be best as splitting up could lead to us getting lost and having to spend time having to track each other down. Plus isn't the idea for all of us to get along better and learn more about each other?"

[member="Sorel Crieff"] [member="Valae Kitra"] [member="Aris II"] [member="Orihime Ike"] [member="Zak Dymo"] [member="Joza Perl"]

Joza nodded politely to the two that had introduced themselves. Now that she looked closer, she recalled seeing [member="Valae Kitra"] around the temple, or perhaps in a lecture. She hadn’t seen the dark haired young man before, and figured that he was simply new. Arching a brow at his presentation, she wondered who “Damocles” was and…whose name? Joza was too grouchy to get into fine details and pick is brain about his title. She almost wanted to reintroduce herself as Joza, the Foremost Exotic Dancer of the Inner Rim but that would be far too snarky for a meet & greet and she didn’t have the energy.

“Nice to meet everyone.” The pink Padawan cleared her throat, managing a semi-normal tone with only a bit of strain present in her voice. Just when she thought she was beginning to feel better, a loud shout split her ears. Cringing as she was nearly knocked over by the Nautolan youngling’s voice, Joza almost dropped her canteen. On top of her stomach, the excitable boy had managed to coax out her dull headache. She didn’t want to blame the boy, but mentally she totally did.

Ever tactful, [member="Sorel Crieff"] hadn’t commented on Joza’s obvious state and for that she was grateful. She scowled at [member="Nikias"] and his teasing tone, making sure to angle her body so that the youngling wouldn’t see the nasty look on her face. “You push me in that water and I’ll give you more than just red welts.” Her words held a note of sincerity before her irritated expression began to fade. Alright, time to be a Jedi. Straightening her shoulders, she took a long drink from the canteen, eyes moving over the small crowd as they each offered their piece.

“Do we have any information on this place? Wildlife? Natives?” She eyed the toppled statues with a scrutinizing gaze, trying to glean any information from it. For a moment she wished that her mentor was here, seeing as how the Bith knew far more about archaeology and whatnot than her. “If we do split up, I suggest no more than two even groups.” She secured the cap on her water flash before moving it back to the side of her robes where it would hang. She paused for a moment to count everyone that was present. “Well, as even as we could get.” She shrugged, content to follow any plan so long as it wasn’t too outlandish or dangerous.

She was hearing them and looking over all of it her thoughts went to observing how the others were acting. Joza seemed strange but the padawan had a wicked grin on her face with the idea of throwing her into the water. It looked crystal clear and they should be able to see plenty. This close to the shore nothing bad should be able to get to them that she could see moving forward. "Down the coastline on such a beautiful day should be just fine." She wasn't the oldest or possibly the most experienced on there but Orihime was moving as she slid the index from her pocket and held it in case there were any creatures they found. She was looking at Sorel for a moment and offered a bow of her head. "You feel anything? THe planet is like a cool breeze in the force, makes me want to relax and stop controlling things."

"I don't see why not, we..."

That was all the Nautolan needed to hear.

And he had no idea what Orihime said after that. No sooner were those words spoken by the older padawan than the green-skinned youngling became a blur of motion. A burst of Force Speed and the boy was halfway to the beach while she was still finishing her sentence.

One thing every youngling knew was to only hang around for yes. Any longer and adults tended to waif into 'maybe' and then maybe became 'no.' The objective was to get the yes and then get out of there before they could think over what they'd just agreed to.

Were they splitting up? Were they sticking together? Zak hadn't even stopped to get peoples names, he certainly wasn't thinking about the logistics of padawan packs. No, all he saw was an ocean and knew that was where he wanted to be. If they were lucky, he might have remembered to wear his comlink so they could call him later. Or maybe he'd wash up on shore when he inevitably ran out of energy and dozed off.

Or perhaps they could leave him and convince [member="Coci Heavenshield"] that the Krakana had eaten him.

Splashing into the surf, the boy waddled out into breakers before plunging down into the water. A forceful exhale of breath purged the air from his sinus cavities, as sea water rushed in and the boy experienced the momentary sense of drowning as his respiratory system shifted to the gills on either side of his head. A few bouts of air bubbles followed, as the boy coughed underwater and oriented himself to the aquatic environment.

At least now Joza didn't have to worry about Zak shouting.

...unless he did have his comlink with him. Nautolans could talk under water after all.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
They all had opinions and it was actually fun to have no formal leader, and no Master to make the decisions for them. They were free to explore and do what worked for them, as long as they came back in one piece.

And Sorel had been definitely loosening up over the past few months. She was less serious and more prepared to relax - her Master had almost made it mandatory. Which is why she wore a swimsuit under her robes and began to strip off. She grinned at Orihime. "You could say that!" Then she shouted, "Hey Zak, wait for me." He probably couldn't hear her and she was no aquatic creature, but her Master had taught her to hold her breath for an indefinite period of time. Then she turned back to the group. "We should all enjoy the water while we can." She looked at Joza. "All of us!" And she cracked a big smile before diving into the water after the Nautolan.

At the mention of water Valae couldn’t help but shiver. Sure, the waves looked inviting enough from the safety of the shore... but memories of her time on Arkas made her anxious. This was only her second time seeing such a lovely beach, she intended to get through this trip without nearly drowning. Valae knew that this would be accomplished by staying as far away from the water as she could. After all, the girl from the desert still had not learned how to swim. She could feel her worry-some rabbit heart beating fast within, and she moved along as the group began to shift to the beach.

“I think I’ll stick to the shore...” She said, her voice was meek and quiet now. "But have fun!"

She kept close to the dunes, letting her feet kick the same up lightly as she walked along. Valae would watch the waves from afar... yes, that was a good plan. However, at the sight of the rolling surf she still found herself feeling a bit ill. She took a seat on the sand and let her eyes move upwards to the blue sky.

Sorel Crieff said:
"Hi Aris, a less impressive entrance this time?"

The Hellyn turned around to see Sorel, a Padawan he had gone to know recently due to the events aboard the silver sanctum coalition's flagship. She had joked with the fact that at that time Aris had accidentally bumped into Jedi Knight Audren. Aris slightly chuckled to that comment, there was no mockery in her tone, just a simple jest by recalling that event.

"Much less, indeed."

He noticed that his compatriot Nikias seemed quite in place amongst the rest of the padawans, making friends and acquinstances while adapting easily to their environment much better than Aris. Perhas the prince of Makrosia was more gifted in socializing and less of a lone wolf that Aris was. Eitherways, the Attikan did not care, deep inside he still ached to have been able to pierce his gut lethally back in that eventful day on Hora.

Before he could focus on the hungover Zeltron's enquiries, the young Nautolan darted with an impressive burst of Force Speed towards the beach after having been given the green light by Orihime. Even the stone faced Aris had to grin at the little Padawan's spirit. He seemed by far the happiest of them all currently. Triple the amount of how happy Aris was, considering the Hellyn was born and bred in a very serious manner. He humors little and focuses on the important things. That was what, according to what he saw now, differed him from the rest.

Orihime Ike said:

Aris overheard Orihime's statement to Sorel and tried to tap into the Force to feel what she was trying to feel. For a slight moment, he did. Aris still found it hard to focus on the Force when out of combat and possibly his skills in the Force were below the rest of the Padawans here.

The Hellyn's eyes widened at the sudden desire to act like the Nautolan by Sorel. She had tossed her robes revealing a swimsuit. The padawan demonstrated enthusiasm to jump in the water and suggested the others to join and enjoy themselves. Aris was certainly not prepared for that and before he could speak [member="Valae Kitra"] had spoken:

Valae Kitra said:
“I think I’ll stick to the shore...”
Being the adult in this scenario and that adult the kids hated, Aris reckoned that it was not the best of ideas to do as it was suggested.

"It is an unexplored world, we do not know the dangers it may possess despite its welcoming scenery." Aris said with a higher tone. "Additionally, what Orihime felt in the Force. All this pleasure coming out of nowhere is... too good to be true." He was going to give an example of Zeltron's pheromones but the Hellyn had stopped not wanting to have a confrontation with the hungover Padawan. "It is much wiser to proceed with caution."

Hearing about the statement of how the force on the planet felt Nikias tried to feel it even tilting his head a bit and closing his eyes to focus on it. Though he felt nothing, no power flowed to him, nor did he feel a cool energy. There was nothing for him to sense. However it had always been like this, Nikias lacked the finer abilities like others to since disturbances or the flowing of the force outside the common danger sense which just about any untrained jedi had. Nikias' talents lay down a different path, and while skilled in combat he lacked skills in the abilities to boost his bodies strength or speed. Even the young nautolan outclassed him in this area of the force. Is something wrong with me? Am I not a true force user? Nikias thought to himself as he looked down at his palms a questioning look on his face. He had felt literally nothing, but he had the danger sense and the occasional ability to move objects. Maybe he still hadn't stumbled upon his talents just yet.

Being brought back to reality Nikias barely suppressed rolling his eyes upon hearing the other Hellyni's words. Nikias remembered the crawl through the forests of Hora to get away from the battlefield due to the injury the other had caused. The struggle of having to sit back and watch his sickly uncle have to fight the Attikan's back. Of having to let the lightsaber wound heal for days and halting his training. So turning to Aris, Nikias stared at him. The Attikan's words were smart, however Nikias just felt the urge to pick a fight with him for some reason. Maybe it was the poison still pumping in his veins, or it was his obvious dislike of the man. "You are overthinking things... Once again, while you Attikan's are good at thinking and tactics you seem to like skills in anything else. How about we all enjoy ourselves and when a threat arises we'll deal with it then. What creature or being would attack a group such as this? Your caution certainly didn't help you on the battlefield."

A pair of thin red brows arched as Sorel stripped off her robes to reveal a bathing suit and joined the young Nautolan. That…was certainly not high on the list of things she expected to see, but watching Sorel cut loose and enjoy the water did bring a smile to her face. The younger Padawan took her training seriously, but giving the body and mind time to rest and relax was just as important. No one knew this better than a Zeltron. "Maybe a bit later, Sorel." She flashed a toothy smile, not keen on getting her hair wet without a diffuser nearby.

Weighing her options, Joza cast her gaze towards the ocean. It had been a while since she swam, but…she didn’t have a bathing suit. While she didn’t mind stripping down into her underwear, she supposed that some of the others might not appreciate it. Or maybe they wouldn’t mind, who knows.

Oho? Things got a little interesting as the Princes began to butt heads, and Joza moved to sit beside Valae who had chosen to take to the beach rather than the water. Propping herself against a low sloping dune, Joza sighed as she covered her eyes with one arm, soaking in the refreshing sun. Well, as much as she could in these bulky robes. With her free hand, the Zeltron would move aside the lower half of her garments, exposing her bare legs up to the knee. She sighed at the warm sensation provided by the sun, chuckling as the group continued to try and decide what the best course of action was. Already she was beginning to feel a bit livelier.

“Don’t like the water?” Her voice took on a more casual, congenial tone when speaking to the other woman. “Orihime’s right; this place is almost like a resort.” She snorted when Aris became suspicious of the calming feeling. “Do you think the Force is trying to trick us?” She didn’t bother to raise her arm to look at him, content where she was. She’d sensed hostility in the Force plenty of times before, and right now there was nothing about this place that sent alarm bells ringing. Still, that didn’t mean they shouldn’t have some level of caution. Even if the Force was their guide, it could only give so much forewarning.
