- Electronic Warfare: The Gentes Bulk Freighter has been retrofitted to serve the electronic warfare specialists of Outcast Four. Slicers, techies and electronics specialists behind good equipment and you've got yourself a weapon that does not necessarily need a superlaser to defeat hostile targets.
- Can take a beating: The defensive capabilities of the original Gentes Bulk Freighter have been dialed up a bit.
- Hangar space: While not really an armed ship, Outcast Four can be utilized to carry squadrons to a zone. The squadrons often serve as escort on a scouting operation.
- Exploration: Designed for E-WAR has led Outcast Four to become also quite capable in exploratory and scouting missions due to its long ranged sensors and scanners managed by a capable and experienced crew.
- Weak armament: Other than the fewly numbered ion canons, the Outcast Four certainly lacks in armament.
- Low Maneuverability: Self-explanatory
- Distance fighter / Asymmetrical fighter: The crew of the ship are known for their capabilities in E-WAR, but are below par when it comes to naval combat. It is best to keep Outcast Four as further from a hot zone as possible to do its job effectively.
Enter The Wretched Hive.
Retrofitting, modifying, fixing. Turning a bulk freighter into a flying home for electronic freaks.
The Outcast Four is fitted with advanced equipment for leading electronic warfare. It has also become a mobile base for electronics specialists when venturing for operations that are not necessarily attached to any form of naval combat operation. From scouting systems and space to ground support in the crew's area of expertise.
The various modifications, other than the EWAR equipment, include the reinforcing of the hull, the tuning of the deflector shield and the introduction of reflec-plates to further help the ship's defenses by making it harder to be targeted and to an extent detected. Nonetheless, the survival of the ship rests mostly on the crew's capabilities of handling EWAR and its subsequent tools and techniques.
