A hired speeder had ensured the journey to the meeting was quick and trouble-free. A block or two away from the meeting point so as to not raise suspicion, Leo began to make his way through twisting alleys as to approach the site from a different angle. He panned his gaze around his surroundings, his usual analysis of all strategic points not as sharp as it could have been, his time on Harok had really taken its toll physically.
After making sure there were no pesky civilians around, he vaulted the wire fence surrounding the warehouse and made his way in through the back, constantly alert for any potential thugs waiting to jump him at a moments notice. He thumbed his Westar at his side, sliding the clip on the holster back and forth rhythmically, almost a subconscious task now as he entered the main storage area of the warehouse. It was indeed a warehouse used for storage, but now it was clear to Leo exactly what type of storage it was. Various artefacts lined the walls, packed in containers or sat upon pedastools, the contents of this warehouse were in the billions, it truly was a shame that Leo wasn't in the business of stealing anymore.
"Ahhh, welcome!" Boomed a voice, a single Twi'lek man stepped forth from around the corner of a shipping container packed with what appeared to be old weapon-tech. He appeared alone, and it was only when Leo had stepped out into the open to greet him had he known why. Behind Leo, perched upon the upper section of the warehouse where a foreman's office would usually be located, was a dozen men, all armed with high-powered ballistic rifles at the ready. Why hadn't Leo sensed them coming in?
"How's about we get down to business, hey?" The man spoke before Leo had a chance to return his greeting.
"Yes, of course. The holocron in your proprietors possession... how much?" Leo got straight to the point, it usually worked best with these types.
"Tsk tsk tsk..." The Twi'lek began, "We have no need for your money, Mr. Vandermolen, we have plenty of that..."
Leo was taken slightly aback by how this man had gotten his true name. Since arriving on planet he'd used one of his usual alias' the entire time to ensure secrecy. This Institute that these thugs proxy for must be well researched. "No. Instead our mutual friends at Progedior desire somthing much more... material." He continued.
Leo craned his head to peer behind him as the man continued to speak, trying to get an exact number on the armed thugs, calculating whether it would be more beneficial to just kill them all now and take his chances trying the find the holocron, and pray that it was somewhere in this building.
"Ahem..." The Twi'lek cleared his throat to get his attention. "As i was saying, we would be willing to part with this invaluable piece of Sith history if you were to secure for us an experimental Kolto strain that is currently being held just outside the capital in a facility called, 'Vero Galactic Kolto.' A rather large facility with many an armed personal, however it should be nothing for a man of your talents. So what do you say?" He asked, a sly smile curling upon his cheeks.
Leo gave a curt nod, "The location and known layout of the building has been uploaded to this holo." He tossed the flat, blue data-pad in Leo's direction, "The strain should be kept inside the lower section of the facility, in the experimental wing." With that, Leo began to walk, he had a job to do after all. "Oh and Mr. Vandermolen!" The Twi'lek called out after him. Kark, what now? Leo turned to listen. "We have received reports that members of the Outer Rim Coalition have been station to guard the facility, you'd best be careful now, we understand you've had some dealings with them in the past, no?" He finished with a sly wink.
Kark...
