Dominion Operation Kill Switch - Empire of the Lost Dominion of Anubys

"Bringing Peace and Order"

Empire-of-the-Lost-Header.png

Anubys, a planet known in history for its fiercely independent and self-sufficient status, is now only known for being a wartorn, uninhabited planet. This gross misinterpretation is what led to the Imperial Army High Command’s decision to establish a hold on the planet. They believed that the military technology the people of Duat had could be collected from the rubble of their self-designed tomb. They were wrong.

The first deployment tried to establish a forward operating base on a plateau about ten kilometers from the ‘capital’ city of Duat. Within an hour of establishment, multiple automated bombing groups from Duat conducted precise and relentless airstrikes on the FOB. They overwhelmed the site’s air defenses and forced a tactical withdrawal, but not before over 80% of the troopers sent were KIA. Our second deployment included an IM-8005 shield projector garrison, modified for base protection rather than planetary protection, and included heavier defensive batteries. This newly established FOB met a fate similar to the first, the enemy AI, known now as ‘Aken,’ demonstrated adaptive strategic behavior, rerouting bomber squadrons and deploying ground assault units to our position, ultimately overwhelming its defenses. This had a 100% casualty rate.

Before the garrison fell, Major General Ralvar sent this holorecording,

<<"This is General Ralvar… to any Imperial forces receiving this message. Our second foothold has been annihilated. The garrison is gone. Aken’s forces adapted too quickly. Our defenses, our artillery; everything was torn apart before we could respond. Their tactics aren’t just automated responses anymore; they’re… evolving. The automated soldiers we are facing aren’t the same as the original reports. They have changed to adapt to our strategies.">>

In response, Lianna High Command has issued additional troopers and walkers from the Stormtrooper Corps and the Grand Army of the Lost. Additionally, a new AI being developed by Moff Karl Von Strauss has suggested that the area around Duat should be covered by Nagnol Gas to disrupt the sensors of Aken. The AI predicts we should be able to get a foothold on the planet this way.

OBJECTIVE I - THE PRICE OF A MILE
As the nagnol gas blankets Duat, Command scrambles to deploy another IM-8005 garrison into the shrouded city. To counter the chaos, troops are issued colored smoke grenades to mark turbolaser targets, holomaps to navigate despite sensor disruptions, and breath masks for those vulnerable to the gas’s toxicity.

Upon landing, their orders are clear: Drive the enemy back and storm the city.

Yet only the highest-ranking officers know the truth: this assault is a diversion, a bloody ruse to mask the strike teams infiltrating Duat’s core, toward Aken. The cost will be high, but the value this world holds has been deemed: ABSOLUTE

Screenshot-3.png
OBJECTIVE II - THE COST OF VICTORY
While the combined forces of the Imperial Military deal with the brunt of Aken's forces, smaller teams of the Empire of the Lost's elite make for the center of the city. Their mission is to find and download anything they find on Duat's automated factories and ultimately, disable Aken, the last 'surviving' member of Duat's military structure. Preliminary scans from before the nagnol gas indicate a sprawling military complex under the city; the NISB and High Command believe this to be where Aken is located.

Additionally, Moff Karl Von Strauss has asked that any and all material regarding the Aken AI be turned over to him. Those who do such will be rewarded.

A ship dropped out of hyperspace just out of orbit from Anubys.

It was far from alone in that spatial real estate. It seemed that half the Empire was gathered here. Ships of every type and description were ferrying landing ships to the world. Some were conducting orbital bombardments. Amidst such an armada, one Medium Assault Cruiser was hardly noticeable.

Box Mattox stood on the bridge of the Rathtar. It was the first time he'd commanded a ship other than the Gorskin, and the first time the Battleborn Mercenary Company had operated from any other vessel. The old pyramid-shaped vessel had been in the Company since its inception, but the group had finally outgrown its traditional ark.

The Grim Class Medium Assault Carrier made the Gorskin look like a kid's toy. It was larger in every dimension, and carried enough troops and ordinance to pacify a world.

Not this world, though. Amd this armada, she was as much a dwarf among giants as the Gorskin had often been. The Empire was throwing everything in its arsenal at this world. No wonder they had offered such rich incentives to get the Battleborn signed onto their Imperial lAuxilia. Given what had happened to the Auxilia in recent operations, Box had been hesitant to take the money. But having the ship as a signing bonus was too much to leave on the table.

If the Battleborn were going to have continuing relevance in a galaxy at war, they had to grow.

Grow, or die.

Anubys presented opportunities for both.

"Grizzy, you have the bridge. I'll be leading the company down. Make sure to share our identity codes with the Imps. We don't want to be shot at. Well, not by them, anyhow."

Commander Grisdale chuckled. "Try not to get shot in the head, at least."

Box smirked as he headed to the lift, "Once was more than enough."

"CHIT!"

Ami went flying high in the air and landed on the mud with a loud splash as if she belly flopped into a swimming pool. One of the many explosions ignited hit Ami as she charged with her unit. Thankfully the tubes connecting to her gas mask didn't come off, according to her visor, the battlefield was pervasive with poison gas. Still, it was hard to breathe inside of the helmet, it didn't help that the damn thing was heavy thanks to the oxygen machine that the Empire integrated. It felt like carrying a nest full of womp rats.

"Get up!" With the Blaster bolts whizzing around her, Ami slowly and painfully stood up trying to find the commanding officer but it was no use. The area was misty and the rest of her fellow Stormtroopers mindlessly charged into the mist disappearing in the process. "Oh I wish I could find a way out of this dump." Ami muttered. "Where the frack are the enemies?!"

Bullfrog Team 9 were in route to a high value target. Hemor conversed with the pilot for a while before heading back through their ship the Concordat. Arriving at the holo terminal with his helmet under his arm. The Pantoran walked to the holo table with ID9 "Di9s" and brought up the target. Addressing the other eight team members and nodding back at the tech guy Grov with his ID10.

"Hi everyone, our mission today is to the planet Anuby's. The military will be pre occupied with the Ai's armies, that's where we come in."
He brings up the holomap of the city and proceeds to zoom in. "As you see here, we have a case that the civilization had wiped itself out. Our job is to turn off the ancient AI. Moff Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss has opted for a reward for any code that can be obtained." The team chatted with each other for a moment.

The Tech guy Grov speaks up "Isn't this the place where the Regs lost two forward bases?" At this point he isn't paying attention as he nonchalantly continues doing upgrades to his ID10 droid.

The hush talking stops and everyone looks at Hemor. "Yes the reports are true. High command has deployed gas to obscure the AI's sensors. That's why our mission is so pivotal to winning."

The team nearly nods as the ship begins its descent. The pilot chimes in "Fifteen minutes until we land." The group discusses the best way to move forward as they finish reading their equipment & double checking their systems.

Landing in a courtyard with ruins all around was surreal in the smothering fog. The group dawned their heavier armored helmets and began with the comms check. Hemor was the first out the door following the heads up display in his helmet. The group quickly moved through the fog eventually leading to the closest tunnel entrance, taking out a handful of droids along the way with ion bolts of his carbine after swapping out the regular module for the Ion one.

Dieter watched as the landing craft's afterburners blew away some of the toxic nagnol gas. He stepped off the metal, falling a few feet into the thick muddy sludge. He looked around at the sensors on his HUD, which did not read anything correctly until about a meter away. A few stray blaster bolts hit his armor as he walked forward, he saw an IFF signature that he remembered. He attached his weapon magnetically to his chest and put his hand on his hips taking in a deep breath before speaking loudly,

"Corporal Carrots! Enemies are all around us. As we were landing I saw multiple machines heading this way. They should be here any second. Shall we continue our last bet? You were beating me, although I cannot remember exact number."

As he finished speaking, he could hear the clinking of metallic legs getting closer. He reequipped his rifle and shouldered it. He couldn't see the machines in their entirety thanks to the gas, but he noticed the irregularly colored photoreceptors moving a few meters out. A few shots rang out from his rifle pinging as they hit their target, quickly following his first few bolts with another barrage taking out two more.

"I believe that is three for me Carrots." Dieter said smiling under his helmet.

The krack of Rorsch's slugthrower echoed through the deserted city, a machine falling to his feet after putting a slug between its photoreceptors. He and Conqueror infiltrated using a Tie/rps Stealth Reaper he 'borrowed' from the late Major General Ralvar's star destroyer that stayed looming over the planet, waiting for the arrival of this newest force. She was busy dealing with a few more droids behind the General, the higher-pitched sig gas bolts pinging in quick succession.

Catching her breath she said, "Rorsch, Sir, my sensors are barely detecting friendly IFF signatures a few streets over."

"Let us meet our comrades." he said in response.

He hurriedly made his way over to the friendly Bullfrog team, leaving a trail of droids behind in his wake. Each one was made into cheese with his lightfoil jabs or a single accurate shot through their heads. Conq's kills were also plentiful but not as artfully done. As they were running, Rorsch noticed that most of these droids rarely had weapons, they seemed like workers rather than fighters. As he came to a corner he could hear the ion bolts of Hemor's team.

He did not stick his head around but instead yelled, "Have you also noticed that the droids are not as well armed?! I am on the same team as you, please do not shoot me or my Colonel as we walk out."

He would turn the corner after they respond with his lightfoil still out, but his slugthrower holstered. Following behind him would be Conq, blaser out, but lowered. As they do, a loud chirp of a broadcast would come on. Before words were the sound of triumphant horns.

<<Soldiers of Duat! Today, we stand on the precipice of ultimate victory. Our enemies falter, their resolve crumbling before our unwavering might. Each of you embodies the spirit of our great city, a beacon of strength and determination.

Remember the sacrifices of those who came before us, the valor and honor that define our legacy. We fight not just for survival, but for the enduring glory of Duat.

Let the ruins around us serve as a testament to our resilience. From the ashes, we forge a future where our ideals reign supreme.

March forward with pride, knowing that our cause is just and our victory inevitable. Together, we shall secure the destiny of Duat and etch our names in the annals of history.

Hemor's team was methodically working, the two ID series droids in the team helped augment their local scanning ability. Although it didn't help much with the gas deployed in the city. the other members were keeping an eye int he other directions as they moved within the worn and crumbling city of old. Hemor stopped to inspect the last droid he ion bolted. Hmm physically strong but otherwise no visible weapons. in his helmet comm to his droid Di9s <<Can you scan this more thoroughly? We need to know what we are up against.>> Di9s gave a few chirps and beeps and got to work.

Grov makes a triple click on the team comm indicating movement 9 O'Clock. Hemor looks over while still crouched inspecting the ancient droids.

"Have you also noticed that the droids are not as well armed?! I am on the same team as you, please do not shoot me or my Colonel as we walk out."
Out walks two fellow Imperials, branch uncertain in the disrupting fog. "Thats what it looks like, I'm getting a closer look." Hemor motions with his arm to come closer.

Just then the sound of a PA system warming up breaks the greater silence,

<<Soldiers of Duat! Today, we stand on the precipice of ultimate victory. Our enemies falter, their resolve crumbling before our unwavering might. Each of you embodies the spirit of our great city, a beacon of strength and determination.

That wasn't ominous at all, no couldn't be. He thought, then shook his head for a moment. Calling back to the duo walking into visual range "My name is Master Sergeant Vechen, Or you can call me Hemor. What's your name soldier?" As Hemor stands up and motions for Karth & Fils to move forward towards the tunnel entrance.

Rorsch turned the corner lightfoil still in hand, extinguishing its blade as Sgt. Hemor and his men approached, clicking it into place on his belt. He mentioned for Conq to follow as well. She followed but was scanning every egress that she could see, blaster rifle not leaving her shoulder.

"My name is Rorsch, and that behind me is CT-1144 or Conqueror." Rorsch was once again without his rank plaque. He put it under his bracer after hearing Conq call out a friendly squadron. He never wants to take over a squad, it undermines the squad lead; he normally just offers assistance, until he has to take over. "I am part of the Imperial Army, and she, despite being a clone, is part of the Stormtrooper Corps."

"I think they know I'm a clone by my CT number, sir." Conq replied, not hiding her high colonel rank plaque as it is built into her chestpiece.

"I assume our goals align. We must take out the AI that controls the droids." He stops and listens for a moment, barely registering the march of metal feet in their direction. "We will have company in a few minutes. Shall we get going to their underground complex? I assume you have located an entrance?"

As he finishes his question, the broadcast begins again, this time coming only from a nearby loudspeaker. <<Who are you? Why are you here? Are you members of this 'Empire of the Lost?' By the authority granted to me by the Assembly of Duat, I order you to stop and lay down your weapons!>>

As the voice finishes its line of questioning, Conq blurts out, "How does it know where we are? Does anyone have eyes on scouts?" She raises her rifle toward the rooftops.

"I don't believe it's actually here." He points to a camera, "It's watching us. That eliminates the element of surprise, but we should continue on."

The Trooper without a rank states Rorsch, Hemor files that as a later search. The clone at least has a good sense of humor.
"If your goal is to turn off the Ai and steal a bunch of its code.... then yes it does align. There is a tunnel entrance half a click ahead." With that Hemor points is hand "I sent Karth & Fils ahead to scout, they should be back in a moment."

The broadcast is definitely the Ai, and it must have eyes and ears everywhere. One of which Rorsch points to. Kriff, going to need Di9s to scan better. "That is unfortunate." Hemor is cut off by his droid beeping and chirping. "My droid says the enemy droids seem to have themselves as the weapon. Some of the code transforms them from mild mannered to killing machines."

With that Hemor turns turns to the squad "All right Bullfrogs, it's go time. You heard the man, enemies inbound and an angry Ai watching. Move fast, silent, deadly."

With that Hemor motions to Rorsch & CT-1144 (Conquerer) towards the tunnel. The team moves with purpose towards the objective. Up ahead a sizzle of ion is heard as Karth and Fils comes out of the fog into view finishing off what looks like a pile of ten droids so far.

Hemor takes point with Karth and Fils taking flanks, fifteen meters down the trio gun down a dozen droids milling about. Before them is a left and right tunnel that both go down.

A cloud of Storks, the Imperial heavy dropship, broke atmosphere and started diving at a set presice speed and vector. The thick Nagnol Gas deployed by High Command to blind the opposing forces cut both ways, and the dropships when hitting the ground would be just as blind as OpFor, so they needed to be extremely careful deploying enmass.

In one of the dropships Col. Desyk was going over maps and assault plans on a disposable datapad with a virus that would completely corrupt all data on the device to beyond useless. Being an officer of sufficient rank she had been given access to more of the overall strategy, that this was a diversion, though a diversion from what she wasn't told. A massed assault, not her unit's style, they were Dragoons, not Stormtroopers in either sense of the word, Cerria jabbed her thumb down to let the virus destroy the data and shoved the now useless datapad into a garbage receptical as she felt the repulsers kick in as the Stork leveled off and dropped towards it's designated landing zone.

Moving from the passenger deck Col. Desyk and her troops moved to the vehicle bay to mount up into their Reman IFVs as the Nagnol Gas was heavily toxic, bad enough to kill a hutt, so it was full hostile environment procedures, a pain as she pulled the respirator mask on inside the vehicle as protection in case of a hull breach.

"All units come in. This is Checkmate Actual. Disregard the plans passed down by command, stay mobile, don't get pinned down, and complete your objectives. If they wanted mindless droids they wouldn't called on the 287th." Cerria said as the ramps dropped and her IFV rolled down to the planet's surface and began to scan frequencies for emergency calls as she and about a third of her unit were acting as a mobile reserve.

Objective 1: The Price of a Mile
The Storks were not the only dropships coming in from orbit.

The Tac Pods of Box Mattox's Battleborn Mercenaries came in close behind.

The thick mists of gas that had been deployed by Imperial forces to disguise the insertion prevented accurate fire, but they had FoF identifier signals to guide them in avoiding friendly fire. The Tac Pods fired randomly into the mist, taking care only to avoid the Imperial troops as they did so. It would be sheer chance if they hit any of the enemy units, but the intent was to keep their metaphorical heads down while the Tac Pods disgorged their troops.

The Battleborn disembarked quickly and with practiced ease, even amidst the chaos of the landing zone. Some of the Tac Pods did not carry troops, but rather armed landspeeders which the Battleborn were known to drive into combat. Others had the new four-legged scout walkers that the Battleborn had recently purchased. Between the two vehicles, the troops would have significant support on the ground.

Box watched his troops performing final readiness checks on the equipment as the Tac Pods lifted off again.

"This is Battleborn Actual to Checkmate Actual," he announced on Imperial comms, "we have been told to support your troops. Where do you want us?"

What the defending forces could not do, the gaseous shroud could, putting up a resistance that was more blinding than staunch. Visibility was poor, even for me, and even the gas masks that were designed to combat the thick vaporous air did little in the way of allowing for a quick operation. Whatever this nagnol gas consisted of, chemically, plagued the mask's lens with a slimy mist, furthering deepening the loss of perception. Fortunately, I could breathe the air, so I wasn't restricted by the facial construct and the sufferings of trying to look through a coated lens, but it still pinged me with annoyance.

What we did have in terms of an advantage, was the knowledge of the city's layout via the holomaps. I made it a priority that every soldier in my platoon study the maps, to memorize the area, because technology was known to be disrupted by several facets, but a well-trained mind possessing a strong memory core could recall the slightest details. Especially in this muck.

Moving through the city, occasionally scuffling with the enemy along our route, we made for the first set of laser turret batteries to mark them with the smoke-colored infused grenades. I hoped the colorful smoke could break through the gas, or this operation would be moot. Once the first battery was marked, we moved back into the fray cutting through side streets, trying to avoid most of the main fighting, toward our second target.

As the Pantoran motions to follow him, there is a krack as Rorsch whips out his slugthrower firing a slug directly into the camera from his waist. As he turns around, he snaps his revolver in half which sends metal cartridges flying through the air. He dashes to catch up with the group. Conq is near the back of the group, covering the rear and watching rooftops. She turns to the undercover general,

"Sir, if Aken knows we are here, why are we only running into municipal droids?"

He responds, "Well, if I were an AI commander under assault by our forces outside the city, I'd send my most disposable troops supported by some of my more veteran units. So, I assume that his more elite forces will be protecting the way to his core."

Rorsch slows down as they come up on the sergeant's team. He nods imperceptibly at the accuracy of their bolts. It's good to work with people who don't miss, he thinks. He follows the bullfrogs, pistol readied at chest level. He watches as the soldiers gun down more droids ahead before coming upon a split.

"Conq and I will take the left path," he says calmly. "I don't think we'll be facing municipal droids the further we go down. Be prepared for heavier resistance." He holsters his pistol and unattaches his modular blaster, checking the power cell; behind him, Conq does the same while attaching a few extra power cells to her pauldron.

As he finishes his checks, Rorsch looks towards Hemor, "See you on the other side." Then takes off.

"Very talkative, I know. See you soon." Conq says before following the General.

Elsewhere, deeper in the underground facility...

In the center of a dimly lit room, a large technological obelisk pulses with green effervescent light. Decades-old computers and holotables surround it, a veritable treasure trove for a collector, but within the room a handful of advanced tactical droids still operate. One walks up to the obelisk and slots in a datapad.

<Sir, these are the latest reports from the scout droids. We are still being impaired by the anti-sensor gas. The reports are approximately 78.23823% accurate.>

<<Thank you Zero-Twelve. I don't know why this 'Empire of the Lost' is here, but it is more than likely a ploy by one of the other cities.>> What can be equated to an electronic laugh radiates from the obelisk. <<Laughable, they cannot believe that victory is within our grasp, so they reach out to outside galactic powers for help.>>

<Sir, intruders detected in sector 587. Shall we deploy the reserve force and activate interior defenses?> Another of the tactical droids said.

<<Affirmative Two-Eighteen. They must be the intruders I detected within the city bounds. Suspected objective: myself.>> The obelisk pulsed brighter as it activated the internal defenses, connecting to everything. While its droid soldiers outside were obfuscated by the gas, the soldiers inside had no such problem. If there was anything Aken had on his enemies, it was time. Time to prepare and make this facility as impenetrable as he could. Although no one had ever breached this far before.

Was this feeling fear? No, intrigue-- yes, that was it. Aken was intrigued.

"I read you Battleborn, the TO&E says you're mostly light and fast vehicles, which is gonna be handy. We're ripping up the main battle plan, no fixed formations; it's droids rather than people so we're gonna try and overwhelm whatever coordination system they've got going and make objectives easier." Col. Desyk said into the comms, not letting on too much detail as she wasn't sure how much the mercenary was cleared to know or if comm leakage would let too much intel slip to the AI. "Have your speeders team up with individual IFVs and keep those walkers for heavy fire support we don't have anything as capible as those missiles for anti-tank."

Col. Desyk peeked through her comander's sight and kicked her driver on the left shoulder, prompting him to turn using the oldest form of tanker's communication. The vehicle shifted to ram a figure in the mists and the treads crunched over a battle droid, no doubt lying in wait as a scout or ambusher. Now that the squad of ambushers had been detected they opened up with small arms, lasors started pinging off the armour as the big autocannon rotated to fire on the squad of droids, and the ramp dropped as the squad in the back quickly disembarked, the overpressure system keeping the gas from flooding the compartment until the door sealed and filters were able to clear out the leakage. The squad's DLT-19 laid down fire as they quickly set about at a rate of scrapping that would make any salvage yard jelious.

The path diverged and Hemor stood looking at one way and then the other. The teams two allies for the mission weren't far behind. Okay fast and silent, Splitting into two groups is probable. Grov, Vom, & Julnor would be best to go with them. His thoughts interrupted by his allies.

Hemor smiles after the second sentence, he was counting on it. "Alright we are taking right side. I insist that Grov, Vom, and Julnor go with you, so we will have comms to coordinate. If the Ai wiped out the first two footholds of regulars... I insist." The three are already moving towards Rorsch & Conqueror. "See you on the other side, One last thing. Julnor has a penchant for the FAE/W-05 so should come in handy."

The rest of Bullfrog Team 9 heads off into the downward corridor. Hemor with a holo reading of the possible underground from space. being updated by the teams two droids scanners as they move.

Another fifteen meters down before the paths leads left. Another twenty meters until a huge room with pillars. From the little lighting that works it looks like a staging ground of some sort. Ancient decayed materials seen here and there as the group ion bolt down a handful of droids before they can react.

The room lasts for nearly a click before leading to another corridor one that seems to be a large stairway with a ramp in the middle for land vehicles. Just before Hemor takes the lead again heading down he comms through the teams encrypted network. The message bouncing from Grov's comm backpack to Rorsch "How's the resistance so far? We found decayed war materials."

Below there will be more, many more. This feels like the luring area of a kill zone. "Team stay alert, Heads on swivels." The team heads down the stairwell against the center column.

As an agent Myri should have been a part of the REAL mission. Infiltration behind a wall of infantry diversion. Close quarters combat. Precisely striking at strategic targets of true value. Per normal as of late however, Myri found herself in restrictive armor on the front lines of the hammering distraction of the infantry attack. She had come in prior to the soldiers. Perched on the highest ground that would give her the ability to provide proper cover.

"The NISB is just messed up," Myri muttered to herself as the drop ships started to land and her rifle was ready to unleash hell on the enemy. The lingering gas would make accuracy less than normal. But Myri had become quite a good shot and most of her bolts would certainly find their targets. "Beginning to think if they are going to give me all these trooper assignments I should just become a trooper. Would probably be a sergeant by now if I switched jobs…"

But the enemy couldn't be seen. A smirk came over Myri's lips as she heard her friend make that very statement over the comms. As more drop ships landed, enemy fire started. Myri took a few well informed guess shots into where the enemy should be and then used her HUD to pinpoint Ami, shouldered her rifle and rushed onto the field to her friend's position.

As she moved Myri heard another over the comms addressing "Corporal Carrots", even in the midst of battle this made Myri giggle and make a mental note to ask her friend about it later.

<<Is this a private bet or can anyone join in? I am finally on a mission with Ami where I am properly outfit to join in a fire fight>>

The distance between Myri and the arriving troops was nearly traversed when additional voices came over the comms. A back and forth between leaders of larger groups. Myri was outside their command so she hustled forward. Once at Ami's side she could decide what came next.

Objective 1 - The Price of a Mile

Box Mattox nodded invisibly in response to the relayed instructions as he surveyed the battlefield.

"Acknowledged," he replied to the Colonel, then switched channels to speak to his troops.

"All right, Battleborn, listen up," he spoke in a deep voice, "speeders on force recon for the Imps' Infantry Fighting Vehicles. Light up anything that might imperil those troops before they are able to deploy."

He waited a moment, then went on, "Walker units, follow at a remove of 1 kilometer. If the speeders report anything too big for them to handle with their squad guns, let them light it up with blaster fire so it shows up on your passive sensors, then utilize your concussion missile launchers to take it out.

Everyone, stay flexible. This is a heavily obscured battlefield, and things will change without notice. I want two speeders preceding each IFV, and two walkers following each IFV. The IFV commanders will control the pattern of advancement. This will keep you nimble and well coordinated.

Initiate!"

Speeders and walkers began to move out, and Tac Pods began their second run from orbit, bringing the next wave of troops and materiel. Box remained on foot, jogging forward to find the Colonel in this soup so that the commanders of each force could stay in close contact for better unit direction.
