"Thank you"
As for starting the party before [member="Chekīta Awaud"] arrived at the hotel, everything depended on the ride itself: it was entirely possible the taxicab ride could cause her to be caught in an airborne traffic jam, or Chekita, whose taxi left the premises before Varindar's cab. With that information, Varindar realized that most taxicabs that picked up guests around here only had enough space for two, or three passengers. There was no time for booking a limo, nor time for waiting on a larger taxi that may prove inappropriate for their needs even though one taxi that could seat four guests and a driver, droid or sentient, was cheaper than a pair of two-seater taxis. Now that they were onboard the taxi, and returning back to the Daoba, Varindar's date began to talk more about his dream of vacationing on Scarif, and why she would look that great on the beaches of that planet. Which she knew led her back to her experience of swimming, about which she would readily be able to talk, on a rather basic level. No, I'm not drawn to that sport because of voyeurism, she thought, sensing that the Duro was a voyeur kind of guest.
"Destination?" the taxicab driver asked.
"The Daoba Hotel please"
"As I was saying, you would look gorgeous on Scarif's beaches. What do you do to look so... good?"
"Before I ran the Crown Nebula on Trandosha, I was a slave to the Ta'jar Blood Gang, which ran the hotel at the time, and I was the star swimmer of the hotel's team back then. In Trandoshan swimming parlance, we were doing hippodrome swimming races in a short-course, 25m pool as opposed to open-water swimming"
