Faction OPA/SJO SIGN UPS: Hutt Affairs, Part 3

Okay guys! For those that have not followed, we’ve been doing a long term story arc with OPA (Hi fam!). To keep the story flowing, we broke the story down into three parts! Part one and part two have been completed. They took place within the same IC day/ at the same location. However, we cut the last thread a little short! When the invasion hit SJO, most writers stopped writing in the arc to give the invasion story their all (Y’all kicked grass there). We've been writing for months now-- lot has changed for some key characters, so we thought it best to give thread 3 a fresh start.

All are welcome to join, regardless of participation in thread 1 and 2-- we've made this an easy entry.

If you were in thread 1/2 and missed it, wrap up was: The crew reunited and left the hut palace, slave bikinis and all. The trail for the slavers went cold. … And everyone went home.


Moving forward-- It’s time for part 3


The story goes like this:

Weeks go by.

A message appears on your holonet.

Beep beep. New tip proved hot. Come quickly to finish what we started. Bring back up.


Setting:

There was no official name for the slave camp Jerriko ran on Smarteel. The prisoners had taken to calling it The Churn. Those brought to the dark place as slaves either died doing manual labour or were sold on to the highest bidder. In and out - one way or another - within weeks.

The Churn.

It was once a confederacy base, let to deteriorate. The walls have been well repaired. There is no escape from this place for the slaves. It only takes a small group of Dark Judges and mercenaries to keep everything in line.

Three/four shuttles are flying low towards the hellish place. Each with specific objectives. A recon team of Rangers has scoped out the camp.

Objectives

The first group must take the south wall under the cover of darkness, quickly and quietly. It must be held so that the gate can be opened - and remain opened - when the time is right.

The second group must deal with the main watchtower in the center of the camp. There may well be a Dark Judge in command here

The pens are separated by multiple barriers. The third group must find the controls to open them or get into position to cut through. Slip over the south wall and hide amongst the slaves if you must. If the pens are not opened then the reinforcements will arrive before the slaves are clear.

Yeah, this was a lot to read. It’s a pretty intensive thing we’ve been laying out, so if you have any questions, PLEASE ask SJO or OPA staff.

In order to keep things flowing smoothly, we’ve laid out 3 objectives. Please pick one. We’ll make more if groups become too big.
