Once a fortress bristling with cannons, Bastion was built for defense, but under the Diarchs, its capital Ravelin now burns bright for All Souls' Day - with the celebration of the Shadowlight Festival sponsored by
Tertius C. Nargath
and the N&Z corporation. The wide plaza before the Sloane Naval Academy, known as the Academy Promenade, comes alive with lanterns, costumes, and laughter. In this place once built for parades and soldiers, every street corner hums with music and mischief.
Lanterns glow, people dressed as spirits and heroes run through the crowd, and all is protected under the Diarchy's promise to value all life. The Shadowlight Festival is open to all (YES YOU, YOU SCUM AND VILLAINY!), citizens, travelers, and the curious.
As long as you do not cause trouble you will be treated as a valued guest (NO PVP. If you want to plant bombs don't blow them until after the event stimky's. lol) . Dress up, play games, join the raffle, or simply walk the Promenade beneath the hovering lanterns. Everything happens within three bustling blocks of open space under the Academy's watch, safe and full of energy.
As a special treat we will be having a RAFFLE!

Entry is 2,500 Underworld Credits, or free with a costume!
All proceeds support Diarchal Orphans of the Galaxy fund.
Prizes include:
- A fully customized Diarchy Starship
- A master-forged weapon or armor from the Crucible
- 10,000 Underworld Credits
- Mystery gifts, sweets, and curios for all participants
The Celebration
There is no single "objective" this time this event is about community, laughter, and joy. Everyone is welcome to participate however they wish. We will be breaking it up into chapters so everyone has an easier time organizing but nobody is stuck doing one thing. Just make sure to tag all of your friends! We will have a chapter for the raffle and fireworks where we will tag all involved at the ending of the event and two others. The others are as follows!

The Games of the Shadowlight Festival
All five games are set along the Academy Promenade so you can easily go from one to another. Each festival game awards one Festival Token to its winner.
Tokens can later be redeemed for Semi-Unique event gear being submitted for approval right now! Crafted by Diarchal artisans, the Lilaste order and N&Z Corporation!
Feel free to mingle here and if you want to add any games you think your character would enjoy - go for it! Have fun. Feel free to write it however you want or use dice rolls. Whatever makes you happy.
️ - The Haunted Hall
Beneath the plaza lies a maze of holographic corridors, flickering lights, and trickster illusions. Brave the labyrinth and find the mirrored exit to earn your Hero of the Labyrinth token!
- The Crucible CauldronAt the promenade's center, tables brim with colorful reagents. Contestants mix glowing potions, failure gives you a non dangerous colorful explosion! Success earns you the Cauldron Core token.
- The Myrmidon GauntletBeside the academy's reflecting pool, holographic Myrmidons spring to life. Contestants duel their simulated counterparts under the roar of the crowd. For those combat junkies I am happy to DM these posts with you just let me know what level of challenge you want... Muah ha ha - Earns you the Diarchs champions token!
- The Phantom Range

- Challenge your skills with the irons as you try to hit floating targets drifting through fog. Children use light rifles, while adults test their aim with replica Lilaste training pistols. - Showing your skills to the leader of the Lilaste will earn you a Specter's Eye token!- The Maker's Row
Where cadets once drilled, artisans and citizens now create. Using either your skill with a brush or metal creat something of any quality artistically and win an Artisans flame token!

Next Chapter - The Feast!
- For those who prefer conversation to games the Academy Promenade offers a place of refinement amidst the revelry. Along the central avenue, under strings of silver lanterns and hovering lights, the Diarchy has arranged a continuous banquet that lasts from the festival's opening to its final hour.
Here, the air carries the scent of roasted delicacies, spiced desserts, and imported drinks. Waitstaff in Diarchal attire move gracefully between tables and lounges set beneath banners of the ten sided Star. Glasses clink, laughter rises.
For our adults and guests of distinction who want to do more private interactions, an enclosed section offers a quieter space to relax, talk, and enjoy yourselves, complete with live music, warm lighting, and beverages of all kinds. (Yes, there are wristbands for those of you enjoying the stronger drinks. Be responsible, heroes.)
The Feast embodies what the Diarchy strives for: unity, peace, and a place for us all to celebrate the people that make this galaxy whole. Here, strangers meet like friends, rivals share stories, and for one night, the only thing that matters is the sound of laughter beneath Bastion's single moon.
