Rasu Gan
Old Lady Returned

“Quickly follow me!” Three figures ran through the deserted settlement, their shadows caught on the lone cantina wall by the setting sun. Rasu could feel another presence on the old mining world, one that reeked with the corruptive power of the dark side. Sith. The planet had been deserted millennia ago, so it was the perfect spot for defectors to flee and await rescue from their new allies. Rasu had been tasked with securing two Imperial defectors who had fled their Sith masters and hoped to join the Republic. The Shi’ido had thought this an easy mission, what could be so hard about picking up two beings on a deserted world and then bringing them back into the folds of the democratic organisation? Well this new presence had proved her wrong, and now it was closing in on them. Not much further, she told herself, her ship was parked just outside the settlement, hidden from view.
“Sorry my dear, but can we take a short break?” Rasu turned to face the aged man, who was now leaning against a wall, doubled over while he caught his breathe. The woman next to him, who also looked to be around the same age as her partner, had placed her hands on her hips and breathed in the oxygen heavily as she looked up at the sky, watching as stars began to light up the darkening horizon. Rasu had only just met the two human’s in the empty cantina moments ago. The trio hadn’t had much time for talking as Rasu had been alerted of a fourth being’s arrival to the abandoned world, so had quickly fled the scene, shepherding her two companions closer to her ship where they could escape the barren world and the dark visitor it had welcomed on its surface.
Allowing herself to show a small smile, she said, "Of course, I forget that not everyone in the galaxy is extremely fit. Catch your breathe then we can get going again." Rasu didn't want to show her irritation, but she couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed at the fact that the couple didn't understand the urgency of the situation. The Empire wasn't just going to let one of their own escape so willingly, it could be safe to assume that this fourth presence could be an assassin hired to stop the pair from revealing any of the Empire's secrets. However the Shi'ido couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the two human's. They must have had a good reason to leave their Empire, risking their own lives in the process and abandoning everything they had known to join what they had been raised to see as their enemy. Rasu's sympathy reached out to the pair, however it was a prickle down the back of her spine that suddenly caught the Shi'ido's attention. Without thinking, she sent out a surge of Force energy, pushing the two humans into the nearest building where they would be out of the way, and quickly pulled the acces way shut with the Force. Activating her lightsaber, the yellow blade illuminated the street and highlighted Rasu's concentrated features as she waited for their follower to reveal themselves. "I know you're out there, so you may as well so yourself!" she called out into the darkness.
