“Quickly follow me!” Three figures ran through the deserted settlement, their shadows caught on the lone cantina wall by the setting sun. Rasu could feel another presence on the old mining world, one that reeked with the corruptive power of the dark side. Sith. The planet had been deserted millennia ago, so it was the perfect spot for defectors to flee and await rescue from their new allies. Rasu had been tasked with securing two Imperial defectors who had fled their Sith masters and hoped to join the Republic. The Shi’ido had thought this an easy mission, what could be so hard about picking up two beings on a deserted world and then bringing them back into the folds of the democratic organisation? Well this new presence had proved her wrong, and now it was closing in on them. Not much further, she told herself, her ship was parked just outside the settlement, hidden from view.

“Sorry my dear, but can we take a short break?” Rasu turned to face the aged man, who was now leaning against a wall, doubled over while he caught his breathe. The woman next to him, who also looked to be around the same age as her partner, had placed her hands on her hips and breathed in the oxygen heavily as she looked up at the sky, watching as stars began to light up the darkening horizon. Rasu had only just met the two human’s in the empty cantina moments ago. The trio hadn’t had much time for talking as Rasu had been alerted of a fourth being’s arrival to the abandoned world, so had quickly fled the scene, shepherding her two companions closer to her ship where they could escape the barren world and the dark visitor it had welcomed on its surface.

Allowing herself to show a small smile, she said, "Of course, I forget that not everyone in the galaxy is extremely fit. Catch your breathe then we can get going again." Rasu didn't want to show her irritation, but she couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed at the fact that the couple didn't understand the urgency of the situation. The Empire wasn't just going to let one of their own escape so willingly, it could be safe to assume that this fourth presence could be an assassin hired to stop the pair from revealing any of the Empire's secrets. However the Shi'ido couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the two human's. They must have had a good reason to leave their Empire, risking their own lives in the process and abandoning everything they had known to join what they had been raised to see as their enemy. Rasu's sympathy reached out to the pair, however it was a prickle down the back of her spine that suddenly caught the Shi'ido's attention. Without thinking, she sent out a surge of Force energy, pushing the two humans into the nearest building where they would be out of the way, and quickly pulled the acces way shut with the Force. Activating her lightsaber, the yellow blade illuminated the street and highlighted Rasu's concentrated features as she waited for their follower to reveal themselves. "I know you're out there, so you may as well so yourself!" she called out into the darkness.

Dovinus didn't like playing mime. Silently moving from wall to rock the young sith used his surroundings as his camouflage. He had become pretty good at cloaking himself, using his species agility and swiftness to blend in with any environment with ease. His gold eyes locked on the small party a few meters in front of him. A small smirk quirked up on his green lips. He had been shadowing the trio since they left the old run down cantina a ruins back. As the jedi snapped her head around to speak to the elderly pair Dovinus jumped behind a large slab of brick and ducked, pressing his back to the hot rock he discreetly peered over the side. He didn't want to reveal himself just yet, it was to early. Frankly, the sith just wanted a little time to think. Dovinus had been through a lot to able to get this mission and he didn't want to ruin it because of some small miscalculation. Although it was a simple task, this was a big deal for the apprentice. A few masterless force users were all assigned the same job; a traitor and his dumb wife were trying to defect to the republic. A holo had been intercepted and it seemed they were going to meet their little body guard in this baron dirt ball in attempt to draw attention away from their escape. It was a stupid idea, really. The appreciates all had to get to the planet and compete to kill the piles of bantha poodoo. Dovinus was the last sith standing.

His black, rough pants had been torn a little at the bottom and his boots were caked with dust and blood. He had a few new scorch marks gracing his vibrant flesh. Still dark sleeveless shirt was strained. He was pretty messed up. Although, he couldn't wipe the goofy grin of his face. He could feel the Jedi's presence. She radiated so much light. It was a odd feeling, sensing a light side force user. They felt a feeling of fulfillment inside you, dulling the strong emotions the sith fed upon and used to fuel their strength. He was going to snuff it out. Pulling his head back behind the slab, Dovinus scratched his chin. He waited for the chorus of feet slapping the dull ground to come again so he could keep moving. They didn't come. His smile grew.

Natural was beginning to fade and signaled nightfall, The mirialan's favorite time of day. Finally, the words he had been itching for echoed through the abandoned settlement. He suppressed boyish giggles and slipped into the darkness once again, leaping up onto the tallest structure before stepping into the light cast by the female jedi's warm blade. Iris's diluting Dovinus flashed pearly white teeth as she smirked down at the group.

"I thought you'd never ask!" He said happily, grabbing his two weapons that hung on either side of his belt and pressing his thumbs aggressively onto the activation buttons. Two crimson blades hummed as they burned the colour of human blood. Tilting his head to one side like one side of his skull was heavier than the other, she studied the jedi, ignoring the elderly pair. He already new about them, but he didn't know anything about the girl. She looked young, and had an aura of youth around her....but she was know padawan. A new knight, perhaps? Her features were pretty, with wide piercing blye eyes and a few tattoos framing her face. Ha! Mirialan! small galaxy after all!

"You're cute when you're angry." He said simply, his smile growing wider.

Following the sound of the new voice, she caught sight of a pair of crimson blades, illuminating a figure standing atop one of the apartments that littered the settlement. The Sith appeared to be a Mirialan, the same species that Rasu had decided to take for this mission, although the green skin was hard to identify as it clashed with the glow of the two red lightsabers that the man held. She raised her eyebrows in confusion as the Sith spoke again, was this some failed attempt at catching her off-guard? She wasn't the love-sick Padawan chasing for a man's affection anymore, she had grown and had become a Jedi Knight. She would not be so easily swayed by such a pathetic attempt to distract her.

Looking up into the eyes of the Mirialan Sith, she made sure he noticed her roll her eyes before saying, "Oh really, well I bet you look even cuter..." she leaped up towards him, hoping to catch him off-guard as she spoke "...up close!" Pushing out with her palm, she sent a surge of Force energy that was quite hard to dodge as she was now right in front of him, straight into the gut of the Sith, hoping to send him flying so that she could get the elderly couple to safety.

With an exaggerated roll of her periwinkle eyes the jedi leaped up into the air before forcefully thrusting a wave of force energy in his direction. Not expecting the girl to react so suddenly he was blasted of the building, but managed to land feet first onto the ground. The strength of the attack made him skid along the surface for a few brief moments, uplifting a cloud of dust and dirt. "Oh, I was hoping for a small conversation first. I was under the impression that Jedi didn't just jump into a fight with a stranger without giving the "go in peace I don' like emotion blah" speech." He said, spinning his blades into his back handed grip as his smirk turned far more sinister.

"But hey! I like this way better!" He chuckled, before taking a deep breath and focusing his inner anger on the building he had been pushed behind. With the blades still in his hands he pushed a angry, wild blast of energy through the frail structure, making a thick cloud of grime fill the air and smother the senses, before dashing through at an alarming pace directly at the trio, aggressively swinging his twin blades at the elderly couple. Teeth bared and an animal-like glimmer in his golden eyes, Dovinus decided to get his job done first before allowing himself to play.

"Yes well, when presented with a Sith, one tries to keep the talking to a minimum." was all Rasu could say in return before the building sh now stood on, suddenly collapsed, shattered by the Sith's Force push. Leaping off the falling rubble, the Shi'ido could sense the Mirialan's intentions. The Defectors! Rushing to their aid, Rasu could see the man close in on them, only a few meters away from the elderly couple. Opening herself to the Force, Rasu leaped forwards, her leg and foot stretched out, her boot making contact with the Sith as he was only a hair breath away from the pair of humans. She had enhanced her kick with the Force, so hoped that it would send the man flying back quite a distance, giving the woman enough time to get the couple out of danger for now.

"Quickly get inside." she told them, hurrying them into an abandoned apartment block. Once safely inside, she closed the access panel and shorted out the controls with a flick of her lightsaber. She would have to deal with the Sith first if they were to escape the planet. "Now Sith, how about you focus on me for the time being? Whoever is left standing can take the couple, but I warn you I will not be holding back." She called out to the Mirialan, as she unclipped her twin lightsabers from her belt, filling the alleyway with a yellow and green glow.
