Cord moved through the jungle; her heavy armor did not really give her much in the form of silence for her movement. Yet the green color in her armor and long coat did obscure her somewhat visually. As she moved towards the signal she occasionally she would look down at the data pad on her wrists. Droids aboard her ship were relaying information to it, as she saw a stream of information hitting the data pad, she let out a sigh.
The skies were getting full and it would seem nearby Imperials were now alerted. She reached down and hit a button on her datapad to hear the broadcast they had sent out. Yet the first thing she heard was the jedi
It caused Cord to stop, in her tracks and hunker down for a moment. She would have adjust her approach if a Jedi was involved in whatever this was. It wasn't that she had an issue with jedi more that they often took issue with her. More the fact she wore the armor of a sith and caried archaic sith swords as her preferred weapons. Then there was the mask on that covered her face made of amethyst and silver with gold sith writing etched on the face of the thousands of sins Cord had committed.
Her penance, for the wrongs she had committed long before she was able to make her own free choices in life. Still, it wasn't something that could easily be explained to a jedi or those aligned with them.
As she sat there trying to decide whether this little adventure was worth continuing or if she should just head back to her ship another broadcast came across the channels. This one was Imperial.
"Attention Borleias System, this is Commander Malrec Dain of Enforcement Group 77. Be advised that vessels in this system are subject to search and seizure under Imperial Decree 48-Aurek-64. Power down your engines immediately, make yourselves known, or suffer the consequences."
"Fraking, hell!" She muttered aloud to herself. There was no just going back to her ship now and leaving this system. She was trapped here with at least one jedi, alliance remnants, and Imperials that were probably going to duke it out.
Against her better Judgment she pushed forward through the jungle towards the signal. Soon, coming to the sight of an old decrepit bunker. She could sense figures inside as she approached. The Bunker seemed dead, long dead by the tree and plant growth around it. Why would they come here she had to wonder, there couldn't be anything here worth taking unless they were drawn in. A trap perhaps?
Cord just decided to hunker down outside the bunker for now, laying low in some foliage. Just watching the bunker from her position. As long as she stayed still her armor wouldn't make a sound and the green coloring of her clothing would give her cover. Not to mention the lining of her jacket gave her protection from mechanical means of visual detection. She would just watch and wait for now, see if anyone else would arrive.
