Public Omens Inside the Blackwall (Sith space: get your fortune told!)

Big, yet even heavier than he imagined. His shoulder sunk somewhat as the hilt fell into his grasp. The otherworldly material was not lost on Corin, a quick once-over drank in all the details. The knot of hair, too. Versed enough in Sith artifacts, though with no knowledge on how to create them.

A wayfinding amulet to guide on through the Nether. That was a first for him.

"Hm," his throat lightly rumbled, bringing it down by his side. "Thanks."

Though he paid that price afterwards, holding onto his silence. He only watched, looking over to Nova once more. The darkness that most Sith drowned in either had not yet reached him, or he was more than an acolyte. In any case, Corin had other things taking his focus.

He let them all continue on by. As curious as he might have been, Corin was only interested in finding a way to Jutrand.

INSTANCE: DAINLEI

The half-healed rift that Velok had glimpsed in murky vision was not, it turned out, at ground level. Instead the train was descending, and the distorted view of the plains outside Theed was more or less level with the top of the train.

Shouting desperate Whiphid obscenities, Velok drew deeply on the Force, grabbed Nova Dainlei Nova Dainlei and Mercy Mercy , and threw them off the train into the real world. He jumped after them and ran face-first into the grassy plains at an odd angle. He plowed up earth with the face in question; he had a tendency to land too heavily.

It was perhaps the least dignified and serious conclusion to an adventure that he'd ever perpetrated. At least the damn thing was the next best thing to over.

The rift eased closed, leaving only a peaceful plain. The sound of gentle dinner bells replaced the chaos of the train.

"No charge," he said to the Naboo sky, spitting clods.
