HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Iron Giant"],

The day was won and the ship was under their control, it would not take long for HK to deactivate and sheath his ligthsaber, placing its hilt back on his belt, along with the Magnetic Revolver being pushed into its holster. The machine would make its way to the hangar to watch the convoys of Sith prisoners being lead into transports along with his soldiers, moving off of the ship to return to the Siege Tower.

It was then that HK received transmission from the Iron Giant about her own prisoners,

"Just following laws Abregado set concerning its soldiers and the treatment of prisoners and enemy combatants. We recognize that soldiers often follow orders from their superiors without fully believing into the cause they fight for or truly understanding the extent of influence Sith have over them, nobody would wish to be their pawn in the Galactic game of thrones after all. So when we take enemy combatants alive we give them a choice, fight for a righteous cause that will treat you well or be on your way. You would be surprised how many enemy soldiers switch sides and reinforce our numbers, especially from fallen powers like the One Sith. The officers, on the other hand, they are interrogated and usually put on trial for actively taking part in the Sith's atrocities as leadership."

The droid explained, still scanning over the prisoners being loaded onto transports with the watchful gaze of his glowing photoreceptors,

"Have you heard about the Second Confederacy and the Siege of Druckenwell during Abrion-Protectorate War?"

He asked, either way, it seemed that the ship fell into the hands of Cyber Resu, and the research HK was conducting? Actually it was field testing of new guns manufactured by Abregado, and considering how well they dealt with the Sith defenses, it should be safe to say the field experiment was a success.

"Outback, how are things going in the void?"

The call had originally fallen on deaf, and rather excited, ears. Only to be recalled after settling some of her own issues with the prizes at hand.

In the time Kimiko had issued her ultimatum to the opposing crews quite a bit had transpired...

Out of the three targets, one had responded in kind, and turned with full cooperation. It was a great start when the former One Sith Commander, a woman by the name of Chika Tikami, had taken the allotted time and swayed her crew into defecting, and immediately turned her guns onto their recent comrades.

But the other two vessels held firm...and their time was up, and with her allies firmly gaining ground within the larger of the craft, she began her movements.

Ki wasted no time, albeit begrudgingly, issuing the orders to close ranks on the closest target: The Razer to the port side of the Star Destroyer.

"Lily White, Razer 2338, change headings to get flanking fire on target. Try not to cause to much damage please, disabling shots only." easy enough.

Like sharks drawn to a wounded whale, the three ships closed in for the kill.

Once in their positions, Ki's two ships worked over the still hostile craft's flanks. They knocked out gun emplacements and pieces of comm arrays. The whole time, Kimiko winced at the damage caused as her own ship moved to the rear of her adversary and began targeting her engines.

After several minutes of the combined, and withering fire, the opposing captain raised the flag of surrender. His engine had just been disabled and nearly ninety-percent of their weapons were out of action.

The Cyaron's bridge hummed with more activity as all three ships began their deliberate approach towards her final mark. Ki was prepared for this, the culmination of the plan, and rounding out her little fleet.

A devious smirk...then her communications officer spoke, excitedly,"Ma'am! Incoming communications...from the enemy ship!"

She immediately leaped up,"Quick, patch it through!"

A voice crackled over the intercom, steady and focused,"Outback forces, this is Lieutenant Sakurauchi of Razer 1928, acting commander. Our previous captain did not see the light of the situation, and the crew agreed to relieve him of command. We will not resist capture."

Ki sat back and sighed as the bridge erupted in cheer around her. She knew the Lily White celebrated as well. Her ears flicked up as she remembered her allies hail and scrambled to respond with her update, ready to follow once more.

On the bridge of the first captured Razer, the commander's lips tugged upwards upon hearing her comrade's words,"Good girl." she whispered proud of her friend.

"Laws [designation="Abregado"] related to warriors treatment of [undefined; living hostiles], or combatants. Recognized warriors ordered superiors with lies in belief of cause fighting, or understanding territory [designation="Sith"] domination, none hope spawn in Galaxy recreation royalty. When enemy combatants alive give [combatants] choice, fight of honorable cause treat good or exit. Surprised many enemy warriors betray, reinforce [HK-36] numbers, fallen powers [designation="One Sith"]. Superiors, on opposite extremity, interrogated often interrogated of active engagement [designation="Sith"] atrocities of leadership." HK-36 spoke in an non-condensed fashion, while utilizing metaphors and terms of expression (both of which Resu like Iron Giant were confused by, and generally did like listening to because of it). Iron Giant though, having been exposed to galactic speech far longer than her kin, and was thus more tolerant of these strange irregularities in their language, and could put aside and piece together the things that didn't make sense with what did make some semblance of sense, given their situation. She gathered that HK-36 was lawfully bound to keep enemy forces with diminished combat morale and fighting resources, almost like keeping a hunting trophy.

What she had more difficulty in understanding was what belief had to do with HK-36 had to with his trophies, and what choice exactly they were given. Was it honorable single man combat with HK-36, or other prisoners? Strange that they should give their enemies honor, even if it should be against their own kind. Though allowing them to freely leave if they didn't, confused her greatly. She also did not find it surprising that warriors betrayed them, after all, they wouldn't be enemies if they did not first betray you. How that reinforced HK-36's numbers, she could only guess - possibly gaining alliances to fight a common enemy, like the "fallen power" he had mentioned? Then she became even more confused, as it seemed superiors were totally exempt from this bizarre punishment of weak enemy warriors, and were only interrogated of what atrocities they committed under leadership of their warriors. It was all certainly a custom she couldn't understand, but HK-36 wanted them, and they got off her ship, all the better.

"Confused acknowledgment." She said in response to his explanation. Then HK-36 asked about a government, likely related to the planet involved in the war he also asked about. "Negative. Lack knowledge of - 'Second Confederacy' or 'Siege of Druckenwell' or 'Abrion-Protectorate War'. Clarify?"

Iron Giant quickly communicated with her team through comm transmitted electrical pulse signally asking for status updates on the ship operating systems, and what changes would need to be made to clear out room for Resu life support systems, as well as living quarters. She received reports that the hangars would make an excellent starting place for modifying the ship for living quarters or life support, as well as the detention cells in particular for food storage in addition to the cargo bays. There was much work to be done.

Iron Giant hoped her other compatriot was having little trouble integrating her own new ships to the fold, and imagined that she would most likely be undergoing similar traditions in regards to "living-hostiles-kept-as-trophies".

While Kimiko did her thing with the enemy ships switching sides, without any interference from the Siege Tower as for Abregado the battle was more or less finished, HK kept on chatting up the Resu Queen,

[member="Iron Giant"],

"The Second Confederacy was a major galactic power in the Outer Rim, their capital was on Bothawui, they held Kamino, Tattooine, Hypori, during their conquest of Geonosis they massacred a bunch of Geonosian civilian drones, it was at that point that the Vagrant Fleet got involved to actively fight them."

HK recounted a piece of their history that Giant might be able to understand or at least recall given her background with the Vagrants, he more or less ignored the fact that she was confused by his previous statement, there was only so much he could to explain his speeches,

"They waged war on the Protectorate when they had no room to expand anymore, I fought against them with other Abregado forces during the Siege of Druckenwell when the Protectorate invaded the planet to push the Confederacy away from the sector. When it became clear that they were going to lose the planet they opened fire on its orbital shipyard and detonated it, knocking it off of the orbit down towards the surface. Problem was they did not retreat their own troops from the shipyard or the planet. I ended up sending emergency transports to save my enemy's soldiers so that they would not be massacred in the cataclysm. It was then that we formed this law."

The droid explained,

"The soldiers we saved were given a choice to leave Confederacy's service and abandon their life as a warrior to live peacefully from then on or join the Protectorate and take up arms against government that left them to die and fired upon them while their officers and superiors were arrested and interrogated to find out who gave the order to fire on the shipyard. Protectorate's ranks swelled afterwards when Confederate soldiers deserted en masse to join us and liberate other worlds."

Meanwhile his soldiers would keep moving the prisoners they captured into Abregado custody onto the transport to get them to the Siege Tower where they could be held safely, along with some sweet-sweet One Sith loot.
