Of Razer's and Wyyrlok's! (OP: Sucker Punch)

Following the Events of The Rebellion on 'Corellia'...
Iron Giant's Flotilla - Aboard The Corellian Giant...
A Boneshatter frigate, three Corsair - corvette's, and two Resu-Class Freighters, along with an assortment of other vessels from the Kathol Outback participating in their "Operation: Sucker Punch" were on course for Lujo. Iron Giant, stood on the bridge of the refurbished and temporarily crewed vessel "Corellian Giant". It was her intention, that she would bring it back to the Resu Exodus for retrofitting into a vessel suitable for supporting standard Resu life.

Currently, the Resu were stranded on their new home until a sufficient life support system could be established on much larger ships. Resu-Class Freighters simply were not large enough for their purposes, and held no discernible defensive measures. However, she had worked out a deal with [member="Bryce Bantam"], in addition for their technological exchange, that the number of ships she had collected would belong to him in exchange for a much larger ship of significant power. She though, had one last use out of her pirate ships, and with TKO support, she hoped to haul in something truly monstrous.

With at least the minimum crew count, her small flotilla of ships combined with her allies, would make a formidable opponent to whatever remained of the One Sith Fleet, on the water world Lujo. Apparently, it had a recent history of conflict, marred by a battle between the Galactic Alliance and the One Sith... though ultimately the One Sith forces prevailed, maintaining their underground power bases.

As the flotilla dropped out of Hyperspace, initial scans searching for vessels, Iron Giant contacted her support.

"[member="Kimiko"]? Iron Giant present. Initial searching suggest hostiles, truth or lie?"

The Resu fleet's scans would probably indicate presence of another vessel already in the system, upon closer examination it was an Nebulon B7 class, an escort frigate from the time of Omega Protectorate, the ship's hull bore the sigils of Tygaran Alliance, Abregado-Rae, and the Galactic Alliance, it wasn't long before the ship hailed the incoming fleet, the vessel turning away from the planet in case they had to make a quick escape,

"Unknown fleet, please provide identification, this is the Siege Tower of Abregado, aligned with the Galactic Alliance, we are conducting a research operation."

The message would be in a female voice, one of the comm officers aboard the adventuring ship.

It just so happened that the Tower arrived shortly before the Resu fleet, a lone ship hoping to bully a whole planet. Abregado and the Galactic Alliance weren't too far off from Lujo, that coupled with abundance in Sith on the planet made this a perfect target for HK to come for a bit of weapons testing, fielding a couple of prototypes to see how they did in battle. The fact that the One Sith collapsed and he has faced their remnants in battle before caused him to calculate their threat level as rather low, allowing himself to conduct such bold moves as bringing a single frigate to stage a military operation. In fact, more ships were on their way to secure their position, and he informed [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] of the operation in case he really got into some trouble. Either way, he wasn't too worried, the Tower, just like him, was always good at escaping from sticky situations.

Kimiko stood on the bridge of one of her recently acquired twin Razer frigates. Each was positioned forward of the main flotilla, in a pseudo-picket formation. Crewed entirely by volunteers and those who had sworn their loyalty to the Outback after the fall of the Sith, they were ready to support Kathol's newest ally in their endeavor for a new home. It was a mission of importance to the woman as well, for more personal reasons...

"Kimiko? Iron Giant present. Initial searching suggest hostiles, truth or lie?"

The woman sitting at the comm station relayed the message, and she quickly turned to...What was that station again?...the sensor officer and posed the question,"Lieutenant Suits, any hostile readings on the sensors?" she was still learning this whole naval deal.

The young, yet veteran looking, former Sith naval officer, took several moments to look over his readings before turning to his new leader, who he admired,"Ma'am, I have one ship, Nebulon-class frigate, on the scopes. Identification suggests they are with the Alliance."

Kimiko nodded, and was about relay the message to the Queen, when a new message was heard:

"Unknown fleet, please provide identification, this is the Siege Tower of Abregado, aligned with the Galactic Alliance, we are conducting a research operation."

This was beginning to be interesting. Her first independent military action, using her own ships (even if they were still stock), in support of an allied force. She was anxious and excited.

"Your Majesty, there is one immediate vessel, Siege Tower of Abregado, Gallactic Alliance vessel, hailing us. Your action?" she swallowed, hoping to calm her nerves and dry throat.

While she awaited the response, she cast her eyes over her mismatched crew. The former Sith personnel working relatively well with their volunteer and Outback counterparts. She thought momentarily that this could be the template of a better, and more peaceful future for more in the Galaxy.

"Queen," That caught Iron Giant slightly off guard, to be called a queen. It was lucky for her that none of the Shikyun Queens survived the Morossian Contact Event... at least not as real Resu. Otherwise, if they had been present, she would have been stuck in a social quagmire. Although, as she thought on it... she probably would become the only thing viable to be considered a Queen. She was of the few who went unscathed by the Infertility Plague, and was as such fruitful. If not for her status as an exile (most likely absolved after their exodus from the Realm of Resu, and setting up a new colony), by all accounts she could be a Queen. It wasn't the mating season yet (if she could even determine when that was in space), so would not find out for some time if she would finally gain a suitor worthy of fertilizing her egg sacks.

"One vessel, Siege Tower of Abregado, Galactic Alliance vessel, address us. Command?" Kimiko informed her of all the information she needed, for the most part. The most important tactical information she had gleamed from the translation, was that there was only one vessel, and they were trying to communicate. In other words, in a pinch, her fleets' combined might could potentially overwhelm and destroy the vessel should it turn hostile, and it wasn't hostile currently given it was attempting to communicate.

"Accept address." Hopefully, that would be a sufficient command, which could be communicated clearly.

Little to the Resu's knowledge... scanners would soon pick up a new presence... a One Sith vessel some distance away. It was small, and unassuming. It likely had been there the entire time, but up until now hadn't been picked up on scanners. A Razer class, and they had just picked up on their presence, and called for reinforcement from somewhere else in the system...

... reinforcements in the form of a Star Destroyer and two other support craft.

It would seem that at some point soon, this friendly exchange between a Galactic Alliance research vessel and a Kathol Outback pirate fleet would be interrupted with violence. Perhaps both would receive the benefits of their different missions, by working together?

HK may just have been interested in fertilizing some Resu eggs. If he had the ability to do so. Or possessed a sex drive.

Either way,

While Giant's command was being relayed to Kimiko and back to HK, the droid's ship too picked up on the One Sith vessel, and its reinforcement jumping into real-space soon enough,

"Sir."

The droid's second-in-command spoke up,

"Should we hail for the remainder of our fleet?"

HK shook his head,

"Not yet."

He looked over the Kathol Outback fleet on the holo-map,

"Let us see where their alliance lies under pressure first."

Of course once the droid will know that the rag-tag fleet was with the Outback, his doubts would clear, but for now, he looked over to his Second-In-Command,

"Everybody to battle stations, prepare for combat."

Before moving over to the Communications station,

"Patch me through to the unknown fleet."

This time around Kimiko and the Giant would not receive just a verbal message, they would see the image of the armored droid, his armor bore symbols of the Alliance, Abregado, even Omega Pyre, signature black cloak cascading off of his shoulders.

"Who is in your command?"

HK asked simply in his cold monotone, he had the voice of Mister Feeny from Boy Meets World, great guy, look him up. Perhaps the Giant would recognize the machine from their days of briefly working together within the Vagrant Fleet, and maybe Kimiko spotted the droid when he and his forces helped the Iron Empire fight off the Sith on Chiss planet.

The woman nodded as she heard the response, nodding to the Lieutenant who keyed the comm.

She spoke, attempting to sound as authoritative as she could, though nervous,"Siege Tower of Abregado, this is Kimiko, commander of the Cyaron and Lilly White. We are here from Kathol space." she paused, wracking her mind for her next words,"I see no reason to interfere with the conduct of your research, agree?"

The comm cut off and Kimiko released a breath she did not know she was holding. This earned her a few chuckles from around the bridge...They can't possibly like me, I've never been in this position...

Not a moment had passed when the klaxons sounded. Eyes shot open and looked at the man behind the sensors display, who spoke,"Ma'am, I have additional contacts! Far side of the planet. No visuals yet"

Just as she was about the relay the information to the flagship, a imposing droid figure appeared on the holo-display.

"Who is in your command?"

Steeling her nerves, she assumed it was up to the fleet's commander to address the new question posed.

She decided to ready her own crews until such time, and began giving commands as best she could.

"Ensure that information is passed to The Corellian. Keep formation with Lily White. Set us a new heading, intercept course of those new ships, but keep our distance."

She eyed the droid, wondering if it came down to it, they would run, assist, or become a third combatant.

"Person of command?" A voice originated without a source. HK-36 would notice that while Kimiko resolved to adhere to a chain of command, relegating the answer to that question to fall to here... Iron Giant would be attempting to locate the speaker. Seeing only in infrared or through electrical frequencies in water... she was effectively blind to holograms. So, there would be little in the way of recognizing that Iron Giant knew the speaker, only that they were speaking to them.

"Surprised. Officer, locate voice origin...." Her effeminate robotic voice commanded a human TKO officer on the bridge to explain to her that the unknown fleet was hailing them via hologram, and gestured to the hologram projector. At that moment, officers began to bustle with activity as Cyaron sent information regarding the new fleet which they also had picked up on. "Person of command, Iron Giant, exile of Realm of Resu," Hearing bits and pieces of information, such as enemy or vessels. Obviously this prompted an important question to the other commander.

"Hostile, truth or lie?" An officer attempted to interrupt her to inform of her commands he would give to the fleet, acting as her liaison, as while she commanded the CybeResu responsible for claiming the ship, her lack of effective communicative skills and human interaction hindered her ability to directly lead the ships she was in command of. Nonetheless, she understood some strategy inherent in her warlike origins... it was merely a matter of understanding her comrades motivations... and literally the inferred meaning behind the broken translations of his words.

The objective was to capture, not to destroy, so naturally the CybeResu were being informed of imminent boarding action as the ships set a rendezvous point and primed their weapons and strengthened forward shielding. In the few minutes that would place the ship into effective firing range, they would open up with the Boneshatter Corellian Giant's long range turbolaser blasts, but inevitably attempt to pummel them with ion cannons to disable their equipment, allowing their freighters or troop transports to ferry CybeResu onto their hulls or into their hangars. Iron Giant, obviously, would be delayed in actually boarding any ships so long as she was in a role that demanded her attention, like speaking with HK-36 and negotiating a peaceful cooperation.

The droid looked back to his bridge command, after hearing the initial transmission from Kimiko,

"Full speed ahead, course for Kathol fleet, keep our shields powered, be ready to cycle them."

"Yessir."

HK looked back to the communications console as a second transmission came through, this time from the electronic voice of a Resu. Oh how that feminine robotic drawl got HK's gears going.

"Resu, you are far from home and right in my back yard."

The droid begun as he looked at the visage of a human officer on the hologram,

"Tell the Giant that I am the Iron Lord Protector of Abregado, Hunter-Killer Series 36, Unit 1, she may know me by the name of Iron Knight. We were both vagrants once."

A little jab at their Vagrant Fleet past, he added shortly,

"And tell her that I am not hostile. The remnants of Sith fleet are however, we are sailing to your position to join with your ranks for the duration of the battle."

The droid moved away from the communications console, waiting for his message to go through the planetary interference and lag, looking over the blue holographic map of the system, little icons floating around the projected planet image, showing positions of the Kathol fleet, the Sith opposition forces, and the Siege Tower, along with the projected entry point for any Abregado reinforcements the droid could call upon.

The twin Razers passed the Nebulon frigate, her eyes followed the ship with a tinge of nervousness. The ships had shields raised and weapons manned and charging. They were designed for anti-fighter combat, and if these new ships launched any, Ki swore she'd fulfill her duty to her fullest.

"Ma'am, a moment?" the voice of startled Ki from her thoughts, coming from a former Sith naval commander.

Kimiko met the woman's eyes and nodded, rising from her seat to follow her and talk,"You know you can call me by my name, right?"

This got the officer to chuckle as she stopped by the bridge's view ports,"You've told us, but, it will take some time to get used to on our parts." Kimiko smiled but the other woman sighed before speaking again,"I am not going to lie, you are new to this whole leadership role, and it's blatantly obvious to us. I am not saying you should not do this by any means. But, would you like us to help you learn? You have more than earned our respect, even those of us who were your former enemies, and we collectively want to see you succeed. If you would accept it, we are here for you, Kimiko."

The touching words almost brought Ki to tears, but before she could say a response, the officer at the sensors exclaimed,"Ma'am, we have visual on contacts! Star-destroyer and two escorts!"

Eyes widened as she looked back to her companion, who nodded reassuringly,"Lead, we'll follow."

Kimiko nodded in response and motioned for the woman to follow,"Pass the word to The Correlian. I do know we're outgunned here, let's keep our distance for now and wait for the other ships to catch up. If any fighters launch, prepare to intercept."

Iron Giant became more excited as the realization set in that a member of her family - The Vagrant Fleet - had returned to her. Or had she returned to them? Either way, this memento from the past put her into an unusually happy reverie, on top of her anticipation of battle. The members of her fleet of freighters, corvettes, and her frigate were on full battle alert, knowing that while they had a number advantage, they were still facing a Star Destroyer. This wouldn't be a walk in the part like the CybeResu had made it seem back in the Corellian system. Nonetheless, it was her goal to capture these ships at all costs. Her more human comrades may not appreciate her tactics, but none would deny the versatility of the Resu.

Iron Giant predicted that the One Sith fleet would arrive in a two dimensional array, all fire power from all four ships would point into a devastating array that more or less protected them from nearly all forward trajectories. As an entirely aquatic species, Iron Giant and the Resu were used to a more... three dimensional array of forces. She commanded the various captains through her liaison to arrange new approach vectors as the enemy fleet appeared rounding the far side of the nearby world to one which was visible. The Corsiar's were built for short ranged combat, while the Boneshatter was intended for a highly maneuverable bruiser, but it had its limitations. Additionally, the Razer's they would be facing were built primarily as anti-fighter... so it would be suicide to to launch the small compliment of fighters The Corellian Giant possessed... luckily their fleet would be well defended with Kimiko's own Razer's. Otherwise though, the enemy Razer's would be vulnerable to the hard hitting strategies Iron Giant's flotilla necessitated. The true problem in this whole operation was dealing with the Wryylok itself, a very durable beast to take down, Iron Gaint knew it would take a highly accurate boarding party to infiltrate into its systems. That purpose, fell to Iron Giant and her CybeResu. They would have to get past the swarm of fighters and bombers leaving the Star Destroyer upon spotting them however, before launching any transports or sending in unarmed, unshielded freighters.

The Corellian Giant, fired its long ranged weaponry while the flotilla charged forward in a "Starfish" formation, with three corvettes surrounding the frigate in the center, which acted as the guard dog for two freighters directly behind it. The Corvette's were on divergent paths with the Frigate, that would ultimately draw in the majority of the fire from the Star Destroyer, while the Corvettes would seek to remind the Star Destroyer, it was being flanked in four different directions if it didn't change its forward tactics, thus some of the fire power would have to be redirected from the center in order to ensure that none of the ships would get into their most optimal range.

"Surround target, overwhelm firing vectors, destroy small support fish, prepare for boarding action on support vessels." Iron Giant's orders came out clear and crisp enough not to need any sort of liaison to communicate for her, and the command was broadcast between Kimiko and HK-36's vessels. They would be closing the distance soon, and hopefully the firepower of a whole Star Destroyer would be so diffuse with the differing ranges and vectors of targets, that minimal damage would be taken upon entering close range...

Would this be a wise and sound strategy, or did have some flaw the alien fish could not inherently notice?

HK was going to get all up in that alien fish if you know what I mean. But first they had a battle to win.

The droid had his ship go into standard singular vessel formation, which was none because he only had one vessel, he did however had his contingent of starfighters and dropship prepare for launch and boarding action. If there was one thing the droid's troops, and he himself, excelled at was boarding, that's how he came into possession of a super-carrier, an ex-Horde ship, once known as the Dread King, it was renamed into the Dancing Queen once HK claimed it for Protectorate at the time. The carrier was missing this battle however, HK decided to hold it back in cases he needed reinforcement.

Either way, he sent out a holo-message to Resu and Kimiko,

"The Sith fleet seems to be focused on your forces, if you can draw their fire and distract them I am in a good position to push my dropships through for boarding action, I would be able to set up an entry zone within their flagship's hangar and start disrupting their vessel."

The battle had been joined.

The Outback/Abregado force had followed The Giant's orders to the letter and had the smaller enemy force surrounded. The Wyyrlok had the three escorts in a triangle around it in a decent protective screen.

Kimiko had managed to get her ships below the force, and towards the rear of the formation. On the movement there, as fast as they could, the twin Razers took advantage of their speed to deal with of the fighters launching, and had even used the meager compliment of turbolaser and ion cannon batteries to began impacting shields. They had received a bit of return fire, but nothing to serious.

Once in position, she kept her ships just inside weapons range, and began harassing the rear of the formation, especially the rear-most Razer.

The Wyyrlok had split it's impressive amount of firepower between five directions, so none of the separate groups was dealing with any more than it could handle.

The operation was going smoothly for now, so Ki decided to make a transmission,"Give us the word when the boarding parties launch and we'll spring the trap. Let's try not to damage them to much...pretty please?" her giddiness was full in her words, and the Sith commander face palmed off to the side.

The Corellian Giant, shook with every long range turbo laser blast. Their shields were being eaten up with their long ranged ion cannons, and everyone prayed the ship wouldn't be disabled. Even as dispersed as they were, those cannons were heavy hitters, and should not be scoffed at. The corvettes, being smaller, were equally worried about every hit they diverted away from each other. Luckily, the small freighters hiding behind the Frigate were entirely protected by the girth of Iron Giant's ship. This was an essential point of her strategy.

Her small flotilla of ships though, were lucky that other ships were operating as well, under their own command. HK-36's lone ship, without any targeting solutions most likely did not look to be any threat, meanwhile Kimiko's Razer's were on course to round behind the enemy fleet. Hopefully they would enter a range closer to Triam soon, as the Wyyrlok began to launch its fighters and bombers. Iron Giant could surmise that the Captain of the Wyyrlok had realized that with their enemies having numbers on their side, they had a tactical advantage of drawing their fire in many directions. Such was already clearly evident now, since one Corsair Corvette (The Corellian Dwarf) was on course of moving beneath, the Sith Fleet. In fact, that corvette in particular had changed its orientation so that is broadside would be facing below the Star Destroyer should it become in range. In fact, all of the Corvette's had changed their orientation while moving forward, so as to have an optimal range of fire on select targets once in close range. For instance, one corvette to the starboard side of The Corellian Giant had arranged for a firing solution that would be aimed at a Razer, who would likely attempt to stay as close to the Wyyrlock as possible for fear of engagement. This would either force the Sith Fleet to "clump" around the Wyyrlok (which would be boarded and used against them), or otherwise retreat allowing them to pick them off one by one.

Iron Giant wasn't sure of the other commander's targeting strategies, but it was clear that the tactics Iron Giant employed was intended to either break the Sith Fleet's attention apart, or force them together into an even larger and more vulnerable target. The human commanders in the Sith Fleet would have to adjust to facing this alien strategy, and with their track record of facing entirely human strategists that relied on heavier weaponry and more starfighters, they would have a hard time doing that. Her liaison grunted as another ion blast struck their shields.

"Shields near depletion, commander. Enemy formation launching "small-fish", response?" Her liaison's words were translated. Clearly, while being a young commander himself, the liaison was trusting Iron Giant with her strategy. After all, they had managed to close the distance between the Sith Fleet and their own without taking nearly as much damage as he had projected in his mind.

"Small fish screened for optimum approach?" The liaison looked at her a moment, before he remembered that to her the starfighters and bombers were perceived by her as "small fish".

"Truth. Kimko Razer's targeting small fish detachments. Launch small fish?" Iron Giant comprehended the approximation well, preforming the human nod before issuing her next set of commands.

"Keep Corellian Giant trajectory towards Wyyrlok, prepare to ram. Launch small fish to guard freighters, move beside Corellian Giant hangar, then beside Wyyrlok hangar hull. Iron Giant and CybeResu, with Vagrant Fleet reinforcements shall board vessel. Fire on enemy Razer's to crush formation, or expand formation. Disable if formation expands. Maintain if formation crush." The liaison took a moment to be flabbergasted.

"Prepare to what?" Iron Giant moved her whole body to look at her Liaison, and began to repeat what she had said, figuring he did not hear.

"Keep Corellian Giant trajectory towards Wyyrlok, prepare to ram. Launch small - " Her liaison interrupted to tell her never mind, before hesitantly issuing out her orders to the fleet. So she attempted for the first time, to initiate a human shrug. It was... hard to explain how that actually went from an outside perspective, but she was sure to gather some strange looks if they weren't in the middle of a heated battle with a Sith Fleet while their shields showed signs of failure. When she got to the hanger, her maneuver was nearing execution, as the heavy weaponry between the frigate and the Star Destroyed exchanged against each other. Before her part began, she had to issue a recommendation to her comrades.

"HK-36, proceed to board, Iron Giant joins you. Kimiko, launch small fish to attack small fish, disable enemy Razer's, board at discretion. Iron Giant Corvette's move to assist." With that out of the way, her Frigate approaching ramming speed (though not yet to the point of actual ramming), while two Resu-class freighters flew beside the frigate out from behind it. She and a seven other CybeResu climbed onto the noses of each fighter within the Frigate's hangar, who flew over the freighters, allowing them to propel themselves off the starfighters, on top of the freighters. Once all CybeResu were accounted for, and proceeded to guard each one (attempting to intercept enemy fighters in range) as they made their approach from beneath the star destroyer, hoping to reach the hangars.

Iron Giant wondered briefly how HK-36 fared in his boarding operations, and how he dealt with the problems of enemy defenses and "small fish" attempting to blow them up on their transit.

The droid received their transmissions, already in the dropship with his troops, taking his commlink he would respond,

"We are ready, draw their fire."

The blue image of the strapped in machine would order his Outback allies before he sent out a transmission to the bridge of The Siege Tower,

"Begin the siege tower maneuver."

"Aye-aye."

Suddenly the nimble frigate would swing around, changing its course to head straight towards the lines of enemy fighters and interceptors. It opened fire from its point defense batteries, sending swift barrages of anti-starfighter fire to thin their ranks as the Protectorate interceptors and fighters, the few squadrons Tower carried, scrambled along with their dropships, flying in neat tight ranks in between the streams of lasers emitted from their frigate, covering their approach from the Star Destroyer's blind side, hopefully other ships would be too distracted by the much larger Kathol forces and not expecting the sudden, bold attack from the lone frigate to focus too much point defense fire against HK's forces.

The rest would be up to his pilots, well trained from their time aboard the super-carrier he used as a naval academy, not to mention their experience from many, many boarding actions they conducted under the droid's command in the past.

Meanwhile, HK was in the dropship, thinking about how sweet would be to have Giant's cold, slick fin smearing some jelly over his chassis or something.

Her ears flicked on top of her head, and a strange sensation found it's way to her mind. Someone or something was thinking lewd thoughts...but who and why? She did not care.

The dual Razers had managed to maintain an adequate amount of anti-fighter fire towards each side of the larger vessel, and then surround their hostile counterpart at the rear of the enemy formation. She began smiling as she set up a transmission to the enemy bridge, hoping to end this quickly and move on.

On the opposing bridge, a figure appeared on the holodisplay. She was short and odd looking. Two tall ears adorned her head and nine separate tails waved behind her. But she had a wide and innocent smile on her face, quite the contradiction to transpiring events around her.

"Hello forces of the One Sith Armada. My name is Kimiko, healer for the Kathol Outback forces and captain of the captured Razers you see before you, the Cyaron and Lily White. My goal here is to secure the three ships here to add to our forces. As I say these words, the Star Destroyer you are escorting is being boarded and will soon be under the control of the leader of this small flotilla. I do not wish much or any harm to come to you and your crews. So I am asking you nicely to join us in our endeavor so we can resolve this peacefully. I will give you five minutes to respond. Think carefully."

She cut the feed and sighed, hoping her offer would be taken. Her two ships continued to keep up fire on the smaller craft exiting the destroyer as her own fighters engaged any fighters that strayed to close to the boarding parties landing zones. Her own turbolaser batteries and missiles were working over the multitude of gun emplacements across the enemy ships.

Her head hang, dreading the repair bill once all was said and done...

Starfighters were decimated by Kimiko's Razers, and Iron Giant's own Starfighters intercepted many One Sith fighters, giving the unarmed freighters a chance to deliver their payload. From beneath the Star Destroyer (where a Corsair angled from below, began to fire its heavy broadsides and missiles at its shields and life support), the freighters would upturn allowing the CybeResu hitching a ride on the craft to jump directly onto the hull of the spacecraft. The Freighters would then dip below the firing range, and hopefully be safely escorted back behind the Boneshatter Frigate, the Corellian Giant.

Meanwhile, on the bridge of that very frigate, her Liason would be belaying her orders to ram their ship into the Star Destroyer, realizing that with the shields at near depletion, and the strong structural integrity of a Wyyrlok, ramming would be suicide. However, he maintained a speed that made it appear her trajectory indicated a ram, causing the Star Destroyer unique distress in attempting to disable and destroy the frigate. Meaning with its priorities, most of the fire would be drawn away from HK-36's simultaneous attempt to board the Star Destroyer. Just as Iron Giant landed just above the Hangar's energy fields, The Corellian Giant would divert their trajectory at the last possible moment enough to fly over the Star Destroyer, avoiding any suicidal ram. Fires lined the damaged frigate, but its tough exterior held well enough to keep flying. Eventually, it would be able to turn around, possibly to fire on the engines if Iron Giant and HK-36 couldn't sabotage the craft from the inside in time.

Iron Giant witnessed a drop ship fly into the hangar as friendly starfighters intercepted incoming enemy fire from inside the hangar. Meanwhile, she and her CybeResu posse crawled through the energy fields, and dropped to the hangar floor where pandemonium would begin. Hk-36 upon exiting his drop ship probably wouldn't be able to recognize Iron Giant now, being a streamlined fully cybernetically enhanced being now, no longer limited to that hulking cage of military technology.

Although speaking of the devil, something that appeared to be akin to a very small "swarm" fighter came flying in, holding enough firepower on its own to make most vehicles weak in the knees. That was her old armor, re-purposed into a remote controlled droid, through her little orange companion C.O.M.O., who had been connected and riding around on her back.

Sith troops were immediately barraged by rotary cannon fire, auto-cannon fire, grenade launchers, missile launchers, and all assortments of "this is the worst and last day of your life" moments in store for all of them. Meanwhile, her CybeResu charged with elongated tusks, or elongated claws, who either electrocuted their targets, or ripped them apart in close range while they soaked up a bit of blaster fire they couldn't avoid. Iron Giant, foremost among them all, using elongated tusks and claws (usually a choice of one or the other) to gore open poor soldiers, and fry them up, at the same time that she decapitated or amputated their comrades. There were a lot of them, including unlaunched starfighters, between her and HK-36, none of these purely biologicals stood a chance.

Meanwhile,

The light within the dropship HK currently occupied dimmed, their vessel shook as it entered the enemy hangar and the machine unlocked his safety bar, pushing himself to stand up, his soldiers mimicking the movement, all lining up towards the ramp behind a spider-droid and a collection of mobile barricades,

"Sound off."

The droid commanded through their commlink,

"Steelborn, right wing ready."

Came a response,

"Ironhide, left wing ready."

Another one soon followed,

"Grimbold, cavalry at the ready."

"Ironside, drones ready."

"Bladeknight, walkers ready."

The droid nodded and glanced back to his soldiers,

"Kerrigan may have been the Ram, I may have been the Tower, but you, my children,"

He addressed his troops, his words echoing through their commlinks,

"You were the hammer upon our enemies. Let's show these Sith-heads that still has not changed."

"Rae!"

They answered in the usual Abregado-Rae warcry.

Inside the hangar the dropships would spin around, landing with the ramp facing the Sith just as the CyberResu crawled their way inside and begun disrupting the Sith defenses. Turrets mounted on the rear of the shuttles would begin firing, dealing some suppresive fire to cover the deployment,

"Bards, you may begin."

HK ordered, two troops at the back, one with electronic fiddle another with a steel drum suspended off of his armor nodded, the assassin droid patted the rotund body of the spider-droid in front of him,

"Let us go Sparky."

The other machine beeped, barrel of a rotary cannon attached to it begun to spin and whirr.

As the ramps were lowered and shuttles opened the whole hangar would suddenly erupted with loud whirring and thunderous gunshots that marked the landing of the Iron Company. It was the noise of the rotary shatterguns, the first fully automatic rail gun weapon Abregado introduced, capable of turning even the heaviest of tanks into minced scrap in seconds, mounted on their light spider-droids, small enough to comfortably fit inside their dropships. The shatterguns would mow down any Sith troops the Resu have not dealt with yet, sending them flying back in miasma of blood and gore as the small caliber pellets tore through them and shattered their armor, forcing it to cave inward on their own bodies like shrapnel. There was a whoosh of lightsabers being activated as from the other shuttles armored droids stepped our leading the rest of the squads brought into this initial insertion. They were all HK models, with those crimson glowing eyes, clad in armor and steel-grey cloaks, accurately called the Greycloaks. They were HK's personal bodyguards and the commanders of his forces when he was away, his own copies given autonomy, although in less advanced droid vessels.

The spider-droids would quickly disembark, stopping in front of the shuttle to keep covering the area in shattergun fire and clear it up for more troops to move in, quickly wrestling the control of the hangar. The Iron Giant would finally be able to see the droid in the flesh/metal, he decided to ride into combat on one of his spider droids by standing on top of it, his current silvery Phrik body was rather different than the one he utilized during their time with the Vagrants. It was much more organic, sleek, not as bulky as standard HK model, resembling much more the vessel used by General Grevious more than anything.

"What is up, bitches?!"

He addressed the Sith troops, so charming, a magnetic revolver, yet another shattergun, in each of his hands, the heavy variants of pistols, his iconic black cloak flapping behind his back,

"I fethed your mothers and I will do the same to your siblings!"

HK taunted them, a barrage of blaster bolts came spraying against him, charring his silver-grey armor, splashing against it with dangerous flashes of plasma light but without much effect otherwise. He was wearing a layer of Phrik armor over his already Phrik body, perfect for distracting the enemy and drawing fire away from his troops.

The thunder of the guns droid forces used seemed to roll through and shake the very ship around them, his troops utilizing a mix of mark 2 and 3 bolt guns, as well as lighter shatterguns repeaters and the revolvers he was himself using as well, the shattergun mini-guns, and the good old flamers. Some of there were even seen going into melee using the force-spears and pikes made by his planetary industrial complex or just using the standard issue electro-cestus integrated into their armor suits. Still, through the noise the Resu would be able to hear sound of violin and drums played as the Iron Company took the hangar by force.

Serenaded by the Abregado bards' battle-theme the troops brought out from the dropships their mobile barricades, using them to shield the rest of the soldiers from enemy fire as they rolled out, emptying the ships that sailed them into the star destroyer. More and more spider-droids would be seen in the hangar, along with the soldiers all clad in uniform bronze, grey, and red armor suits, old Protectorate models, and even troops mounted on fierce armored Nocur beasts, half-owl and half-bear, would make an appearance alongside few light Mag'ladroth personal walkers.

"Ironside, Bladeknight! With me, towards the bridge! Steelborn, to the capital guns, disable them! Ironhide, Grimbold! Take your company right after you pass the blast doors, take out their point defenses so we can bring more ships in! Forth and fear no darkness!"

The machine conducted his troops, directing them to their own objectives, as one of his soldiers grabbed his attention,

"Sir."

He motioned towards the Cyber-resu,

"Are they hostile."

The droid looked in Giant's direction, calculating for a second.

"No, they are quite slimy but they are on our side."

HK would jump off of the spider-droid he used as a stepping stool, walking towards the Iron Giant,

"Resu."

He addressed her,

"It has been a while."

As their combined forces took control of the hangar, opening up the rest of the ship for further combat.

Also, fun fact, HK's common soldiers were made up of mixed humanoid droid and organic units, all clad in uniform armor and treated equally as dictated by Abregado laws.

(OCC: Sorry about Late reply!)

"Affirmative." Iron Giant agreed once the hangar was cleared. It was quite the spectral to be seen, most probably considering she had little sense in music... no ears and all that. Also, she noticed the droid used an unusual arrangement of phrases of which she was unfamiliar with, or were otherwise misinterpreted. Iron Giant would have offered a hand to "shake", but between her elongated tusks and elongated claws, she settled for a nod. Two of her CybeResu allies fell behind her, so as to guard one another's backs. Even though the room was cleared, the need to protect one another was crucial, considering their "Achilles heel".

"To Bridge?" It was fairly obvious that's where they were going, considering the whole objective of boarding a vessel was to take command of it. It was considerably more difficult to take command of this particular class of Star Destroyer, considering that its bridge was interior. Otherwise should would have employed her strategy on Corellia here as well. At least, she would have ample support in taking control and properly commandeering it. She assumed her metal companion [member="HK-36"] would know or have someone or thing that would know how to pilot the ship properly.

While they no doubt began to move and encounter more resistance, she began to wonder how things went with her friend @Kimiko. Either she was doing well and turning more Imperials to her side... or things weren't looking too good until they could actually steal this ship. Whichever the scenario was, soon the ship would be theirs and all their troubles in this system would be resolved.

Another day for those of the Outback (and guest). :)

Let's just finish this up in a couple posts each/18(?) for all the loot.
All of it.

"To the bridge!"

The droid agreed with the Giant's assessment of their next objective after the nod-ful greeting, he raised his white lightsaber and motioned towards the large blast-door that marked passage further into the bowels of the ship, and further towards the internal bridge. As they moved towards the wall of durasteel and duranium that stood in their way, the droid motioned to the nearby console for his slicer team, the technicians nodded, trotting over to it with a couple of datapads.

"Power up the rotors."

He ordered to a nearby couple of spider droids with rotary cannons mounted below their round bodies. The walking mobile platforms nodded to him and their barrels begun to turn, the slicer team gave him a thumbs up, he return the gesture and the blast door would open before them, their way sliced in by his hackers rather than simply blowing their way in. Frankly, it would be a preferred way for him to take, as just making a hole with portable mass drivers took less time, but Giant wanted to capture the ship and he was not going to break her new toy just yet!

The metal curtain dropped, revealing the prepared resistance of Remnant stormtroopers squatting behind makeshift barricades on the other side, an entrenched line waiting for them.

But that was why he had the spider droids ready.

WHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

A loud humming noise came out from the spider droids as they opened fire, their guns whirring shamelessly as they churned out round after round in hypervelocity continuous fire,

CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK,

Their small caliber armor-penetrating rounds would rip the barricades apart, before the stormtroopers had even chance to fire few of them were thrown back by the shrapnel and the impact from magnetic-launched bullets striking them on the armor, shattering their protective plates and bones alike with a single impact.

"Forward!"

The droid ordered with another motion of his lightsaber, in one precise fluid movement swatting aside a whole series of blaster bolts send towards them, letting the plasma ricochet both into the ruins of the shredded barricades and back into the soldiers who launched them in the first place.

Their troops would charge forward, taking care of the remaining troopers who were guarding the blast door in attempt to bottle-neck them, they stepped over the barricades, overwhelming the stormtroopers and dealing with them either in melee or forcing them to pull back. One spider droid would be seen knocking a stormtrooper down by headbutting it with its orb-like body before trampling the man alive. Some had the sense to surrender already, and they would be taken captive, alive, Abregado did not execute unarmed prisoners of war if they surrendered to them directly.

Iron Giant was right, the ship would be theirs, as in no doubt, whatever remained of the Remnant's resistance would meet the same way as the garrison they left behind to guard the hangar's blast door opening. The droid's forces would split, following his earlier orders, to sweep the ship's other flanks and disable their point-defense and capital guns, to make things easier for Kimiko.

Speaking of Kimiko, the droid would sent out a transmission to her,

"Outback, how are things going in the void?"

Just to check in on her!

In summary, the former One Sith crew of the Wyyrlok suffered significant casualties to the deadly combination of Iron Giant, and HK-36's forces carving a path through the Star Destroyer. Though the Resu seemed to be without mercy, HK-36's allowing the capture of unarmed prisoners gave the hope of life to the Imperial officers and stormtroopers who realized all was lost once the pair approached the bridge, began to surrender exponentially faster. Neither wanting to be shredded apart by the impressive fire power of the droid, or to be torn into segments by the merciless blades of the CybeResu. It had been Iron Giant's plan to vent all the atmosphere of the ship, but with the presence of living allies and their insistence on keeping enemy units alive, she refrained. With their capital ship captured and issuing surrender, the Razer's outside quickly followed suit, and surrendered their command to @Kimiko. Another victory for the outback, and another ship for the Resu to call their home. Once the ordeal was over however, Iron Giant was unsure of what to do with all of the prisoners. So, logically she asked HK-36 what he planned to do with them.

"HK-36. Possession of living hostiles. Purpose of living hostiles?" The idea of taking prisoners was a foreign one to a Resu, and even one who was arguably more noble than most of her ilk, it was still a concept which she had never thought of, nor saw the purpose of. Her crew in combination of HK-36's crew began to reroute the ship into hyperspace back into the Outback at her request. Before they launched, she imagined his crew would wish to return to their own vessel and continue whatever observations they were previously undergoing prior to the engagement.

Hopefully this reply didn't take so long to come, that HK-36 decided to leave with this very important issue left unresolved for Iron Giant. Wouldn't want any inhumane massacre's, now would we?
