Getting onto Kashyyyk wasn't as complicated as Allyson thought it would be. The place was a mess after the Black Sun had made its way through the world, but criminals were criminals. It had been a long time since she had traveled through the jungle world, and seeing some of the healing was nice. However, she wondered if the hidden SIA safe house was still intact. If it wasn't, Allyson was going to be more screwed than she liked to be in a jungle world.

After a day and a half of hiking, Allyson made it to the small patch of wilderness. It was carefully grown and changed to add vantage points for the agents who would be using it as a safe haven during missions when Kashyyyk was a proper vantage point. Though it seemed the safe house had seen better days, Allyson set to work. This was easier than thinking about everything else that was going on in her life.

Like Varonat, she drowned herself in work.

The first night, Allyson set up her tent and a security parameter, which were small wires that would easily signal an intruder. Her rebuilding of the small base would take time, but it would be enough to get her mind off things. Mainly the twinge of regret she had for leaving. Seeing another like her, someone so fluidly able to command the Force to hide - that was something she rarely saw.

The last time the Corellian had seen a padawan able to weave a Force cloak with ease was Zaavik.

Allyson brought her knees closer to her as she sat in front of the fire. She watched it, at least with her good eye. The flames danced and flickered, only reminding her of the padawan. He was so talented, but he was troubled too much like his Master. Maybe she wasn't the right fit as a Master for him - he was her most significant failure, more so than the mission that lost her everything.

She watched the flames for a moment longer before standing and kicking the dirt on the makeshift firepit. As much as she wanted to keep the security the light provided - it only made her a sitting target for anyone lingering.

Before she lay down, Allyson looked up at the stars. A smile crossed Allyson's face as she knew she needed to be home - but she would understand. The stars were always a reminder of the Varonat sky.

The night, luckily, was calm and without event, letting Allyson, for once, sleep.

Kashyyyk's mornings were always bright, and Allyson sat up without fanfare. She quickly got to work, letting her mind wander nowhere too far from where she was. Using Force, Allyson threw the rope over one of the large tree branches and threaded the rope through the harness that hung around her hips. She needed to assess the damage from the Black Sun's occupation, which, at first glance, would take some time.

Quickly, Allyson hoisted herself up, began loading supplies into the tree house, and began to work.

Time passed slowly, but the Corellian had found a moment to break as she let herself hang by the waist backward, staring up at the canopies.

The scent of Kashyyyk's jungle hung in the air when Valery arrived. Her ship was hidden several klicks away beneath a thick tree, and the rest of the distance she covered on foot. With a lightweight shirt, cream in color, that clung to her with the morning humidity, and a top laced just enough to stay secure, she tried her best not to look too... Jedi. Her hair was tied back high, wild in places from the walk, but still neat enough to suit her.

She had heard rumors of what the Black Sun had left behind. But what had truly drawn her here was something else.

A familiar signature in the Force.

Perched against the trunk of a tree, Valery paused and closed her eyes, reaching out through the Force. After so many years, it was not hard to recognize who she felt.

Allyson.

Her lips curled slightly. Valery climbed higher and stepped onto a reinforced branch, eyes scanning across the jungle until she spotted movement. Valery approached from the side, giving Allyson just enough warning to avoid catching her completely off guard.

"Why am I not surprised to find you here?" she called out with a smirk, hands resting casually on her hips.

Her tone was light, but her eyes held something more. She knew what this place had once been for them, and she knew how complicated their relationship was now.

Hanging from the ropes, Allyson let herself spin lazily with gravity as Valery approached. Despite everything between them, the Corellian didn't register the Grandmaster's presence as a threat—it never felt like one.

With theatrical flair, she pressed a hand to her chest like a marionette in mid-performance and sighed.

"I guess I've lost my chaotic and unpredictable edge."

The moment passed, and she righted herself with practiced ease. Her fingers worked through the knots at her harness, methodically freeing herself from the rope. She wasn't in her usual clothing, just a pair of soft, worn Corellian slacks still bearing the crimson first-class blood stripes and a plain white shirt, now streaked with sweat, dirt, and whatever else the day had thrown at her.

Allyson brushed her palms lightly on her thighs. "Not surprised to see you either," she said, glancing toward Valery with a crooked smile. "But a part of me is glad you didn't forget this place either."

Kashyyyk had been a routine mission for the pair. They had to survey the area and bring back any information on the Sith's movements. Allyson never understood the need for both of them to go. At that time, Valery was fully capable with her abilities as a Shadow, and Allyson was typically a lone agent.

Waving to Valery, she beckoned the Jedi to follow her as she moved toward the center of the small base camp she had laid out.

"It's been a while, but it looked like the Black Sun didn't find the safe house, which means it's still a vantage point for the SIA," Her hands shot up, feigning her surrender as she laughed.

"I promise I haven't tampered with anything," Allyson relaxed and brushed back her bangs from her face. "But you can check my work when I'm done."

The Corellian mused as she reached into the small ice chest and pulled out a small sandwich and a can of carbonated juice.

"Of course, though, if you're going to stay, you're not getting out of work."

Shutting the chest, Allyson sat down with her own goodies and relaxed.

"So while I'm here to clear my head and check out the damage from the Black Sun," Allyson raised a brow as she cracked open the carbonated drink.

"What brings you here?"
