Lumi Snow

love, hope, and peace conquer all
The backlash of anger was enough to make Lumi physically reel and let out a sharp cry of pain. Her eyes blinked away tears blindly. She didn't know why some people would fight against what they want so hard, so vehemently. So angrily. She didn't know why she was being carried, but she wasn't too sure she enjoyed it either. She had worse, but she had better.

Its alright, she shot to the assailant, sending kindness, its ok, your not going to get hurt. You don't have to choose the path of violence.

She thought for a moment, surely he had family? If he didn't, You won't find what your looking for taking people from their families.

Her weak body began to quiver again, threatening to give out. It had been a very bad, very intense day. What had started out as a simple medical relief run had turned into--well this. She wasn't sure she enjoyed it, but she also wasn't one to give up on anyone. Any soul, no matter how far gone, was never too far gone for redemption.

Lypheen heard music. It sounded like angels. Wait. The room was all white. He saw others. Others of....

Himself.

Its ok. You're not going to get hurt. You don't have to choose the path of violence.

That voice echoed in his head. Where was he?

"Aha. Finally"

"Eh, should we get 'im?"

"Hey, he's the violent one! Not us."

"Maybe not YOU"

"Stop arguing! It is time for us to decide."

"It should be me!"

"Shut up, nerd."

"Look what you guys are doing!"

"Oh god no!!!!"

Lypheen woke up. But where was he? This lady looked nice. But he was also being carried by a droid.

"Hello ma'am." he said to the lady, "And who might you be?"

"Hello droid! Where exactly are we going?"

Lumi felt herself growing weaker. She needed calories. She hadn't eaten in--days. That was normal but this time had been longer. Anorexia for her was not so much a choice as it was an acquired bad habit from her childhood. She was faint, and it made her protection from the thoughts around her weaker. Where was this droid taking her? She didn't know, but she trusted him.

Look at that dress, its so filthy.

I wish I had a real family.

I am sick of all this pretending, I want the world to know who I really am.

That girl should find a real man.

He seems to be happy with his speeder. I wish I was that happy.

Lumi blinked her blind eyes, bringing herself to bearing. The man had said something, she needed to address it, "Yes, I'm Lumi, Dr Lumi Snow," she said doing her best to focus through the torrent of stimulants. It was almost too much for her--but-she--had to try, "And what's your name?"

Lypheen felt a pain in his head. Veins bulged around. His third eye twitched. Then it stopped.

"I'm Lypheen!" he said, excitedly, "You have a cool name!"

She smiled politely.

"How exactly did I-" he was cut off, "AGGGHHHHH"

Back in his mind.

"You have returned I see."

"Sucker! You didn't last half as long as the other did."

"There is a problem sir."

"Tell me."

"Hush. Going to get some help."

The droid rushed out of the cantina, barging through the sea of people until they were in the dune sea.

"I have an old friend that can patch you up Lypheen... and can feed you miss. You look famished."

Lumi nodded. She needed food, she knew it she just--didn't feel like eating. She was used to hunger, it was her everyday companion, as a child and now as an adult. She lost count of the times she had to be rushed to the hospital or the ER and intravenously fed from one of her sever black out sessions.

Lumi wasn't sure what buzzing was coming from the other being, but at least he had calmed down. That was good. She swallowed, now to just keep herself around long enough to--to--

Think about cybernetics. Yes, that would work, that would keep her away. Her mind drifted to her latest project, a new implant to replace the heart for those who had sustained sever cardiac injury. Yes, she had most of the basics down; the antichambers, the chambers, the pumps it was just a matter of the--the--she blinked, yes the powersource. Some sort of self-charging battery would work, but---those were.....

Hades walked into a small hut, making sure not to hit the two passenger's heads on the door frame.

"M-93... been awhile."

A short medical droid appears, holding a bacta tank to stack it with the others.

"Hello GH-84. It has been quite awhile."

"Think you can help these folks?"

"NO" a voice said- inside his head.

What?! Who?! GAHHH

A medical droid? They were in a small hut now. The droid set him down. Two. Who was he?

"He's been released."

"I know, sir. There's no telling how much damage he can cause."

"We will devise a p-"

Lypheen blocked the voices out.

"Why hello there!" the medical droid said, "I am M-93, your personal healthcare companion!"

"Now, what is the problem with you?" the medical droid asked, "I can fix-"

Lypheen grabbed the droid's head.

"X-x-x-x-x-x-x Yoo-uu--uu--u pp...Stooo" the medical droid was in pain. Lypheen tightened his grip. With one swift movement, he ripped the droid's head off.

"Heh heh" he chuckled to himself as the others watched him, completely speechless.

He knew who he was now. He was the malevolent one.

Hades was truly angry. After all this time, he is legitimately angry. He's about to show them why he's called Hades

"Threat detected. Response: Kill the bastard"

In a flash, his arms were tucked away to reveal two precision flamethrowers.

"Burn! Kill! BURN!"

The armored man dodged the shot just barely before having a knife sink into the unarmored neck area below his helmet. The knife plunged in deep, sputtering blood everywhere. Hahaha, he's dead!! No, no this isn't right! Shut up you! You were always weak but now I'm in control! Time to find and kill that pesky droid who shot at us!! At least we agree on one thing. Katelyn walked away from the table with the bloody knife in hand, her whole body was trembling all over from her alternate-personality and mental disorder. She walked out of the cantina and made in just in time to see the speeder go off. Oh no you don't! At least he's a droid so he won't feel pain, right? Yeah, yeah..whatever.

Katelyn jumped onto a free speeder and went off in the general direction until she came upon a hutt. She stepped off of the speeder and made her way towards the hutt.

"Come on out, you Hutt-spawned rodents!"

Hades heard a noise outside the sandstone hut. Blinded with anger, Hades walked out of the hut, aiming his flamethrower at the woman.

"Scanning....

No threat detected... I need to rest a moment..."

He was thinking too hard again...

Whatareyoudoingkillhernodon'tdoityouwerealwaysweakyetyougrowstrongeveryday-1010010010010100100100101001

Hades had shut down to prevent himself from blasting that area into oblivion.

Flames. The other droid needed to be taken care of if Lypheen was to pull this off. The woman next to him looked to famished to move. He knocked her unconscious just to make sure she didn't go anywhere.

"Droid." he said.

No response. The droid must have been shut down.

Perfect... he thought.

Lypheen grabbed the droid and carried him inside, his head throbbing. His injuries were acting up again. No matter though, he still succeeded at the task. These two would be long gone before the droid powered on, but just to make sure, Lypheen pressed the button.

Click.

Nothing happened...He had forgotten about wiring everything up. Great. Now maybe the droid could power on in time. That wasn't the biggest problem though. He heard footsteps behind him.

Oh goodness, so many voices, so many, so much internal conflict it made her ache so badly. ANGER ANGER ANGER ANGER RAGE RAGE KILL KILL KILL. She could hear the intense, loud and rageful thoughts echoing in her skull.

Her body was weak, frail on good days. Now it was so bad she could feel herself folding in on herself. Lumi collapsed to her knees. So much pain. So much aching. Why would anyone want to kill so many people and hurt others. Someone knocked her on the head, making it ache even more. ((Don't say you knock another player out without permission. Say you attempt, its only polite ;) ))

Stop. She was too weak to fix it all, it was too much. STOP. She needed to find a way to heal all these people, all at once to convince them to step back, think, and not hurt each other. STOP. She needed--She needed to--STOP!

The thought roared out like a scream, loud and almost audible, it was so intense. Tears of anger and hurt spilled from her eyes as she shouted out, "Stop it, stop it, stop it all now, this is pointless, there is no need for this violence!!"

STOP! STOP! The voice pounded within Katelyn's mind but it did little to stop the internal conflict between her two personalities. Oh, haha...YOU want ME to STOP!? Hahaha, now that is funny! Your such a deranged sociopath! You know what, I don't really care. Why? Well, because now I'm in control while you are NOTHING!! Katelyn approached the hut, her face stiff and un-readable. Twisting the knife through the fingers in her right hand as if it was child's play. As she approached the tent, she heard a commotion inside but still kept at her current pace. She walked inside the tent and saw a gran standing above a droid and a woman collapsed to the ground. What is this? A good opportunity to KILL! No, don't kill them please. Shut up for once!

"Oh, don't kill....now that is funny! Perhaps I'll kill you first!"

"No, No don't do....Shut it you!"

Stop.

Although her lips did not part, the words echoed forth. Although she did not speak, the young woman was heard.

Tattooine was a cesspool, that much the Archmaster remembered. Long ago, when he was but a Knight teetering down the path of life, he served the Confederacy-turned-Union. During that time, the nation stood for something more than just credits...and because of that, they attempted to bring Order to the sand-swept planet. However, despite their efforts, there was always violence. There was always blaster fire in the cantinas and blood on the streets. The reality of Tatooine was such that it reminded Josiah of where he was born: Nar Shaddaa. Yet, unlike the Smuggler's Moon, the "dust ball" had an uncanny trait.

One could just walk.

You see, while there was violence in the few civilized hovels on the planet (and we're using the term civilized lightly here), the fact was that they were few in number. For the most part, there were leagues of desert between watering holes: which provided individuals like Josiah the solitude they needed. As of recent history, the Archmaster had been haunted. A duality of guilt and pride wreaked havoc upon his inner self, and it came high time to rectify the damage. His actions. His decisions. He needed to reflect on what he was turning into. He needed to decide if the deal was worth truly becoming Herodias Ren.

Yet as he meditated amongst the rocks and sand, his thoughts were disrupted. A shrill plea echoed through the Force and brought his attention to a hut in the distance. Would he ignore it? Would he turn a shoulder to someone in need, as was expected of Herodias? Or would he go and attempt to do some semblance of good...would he be himself? He deliberated...and then the plea came again. Before he knew it, Josiah found himself on his feet and headed towards the hut. As he drew ever closer, he could hear the commotion occurring within the structure.

Snap. Hiss. A crimson saber ignited.

"What's going on here?" he barked over the noise. His voice erupted as a metallic hiss, corrupted by the Mask of Ren over his features. Perhaps the appearance of a hooded, robed man with a lightsaber would jar the group out of their lunacy. He stepped forward...and saw a young woman with a knife drawn. He saw an elderly woman on the ground. He saw a woman in the corner crying and shaking. What he saw...seriously irked him. Raising his saber, the blade came to a halt a mere few inches away from the raving woman.

He did not know she was a Disciple. He did not know she was even more than that. But thankfully, the Force did...as it screamed for him not to strike her down.

"Drop the knife or I'll drop your arm."

The black cloaked Hades stood behind the masked man, holding his superheated vibro knife just a few inches away from the back of his neck.

"Drop her arm, and I drop your head."

"Sure, cut off my arm...see if I give a chit!"

No, no I don't wanna lose an arm! How many times do I have to tell you, SHUT UP! Now, why would I care about using an arm...sure I'd feel pain. But now you....well let's just say you wouldn't want to do anything. W-what do you mean? Katelyn turned and rushed towards the masked man behind her. The knife reflected sunlight off of it's blood soaked edge, making the blood glisten a light red with glints of silver in it. She brought the knife in a right-hand arc towards the upper abdomen of the cloaked man, while with her left hand reaching towards the lightsaber strapped to her thigh.

Katelyn's eyes didn't show the same 'freedom' and 'justice' as her eyes usually would. No, they showed 'wrath' and 'pride' in her ability to kill at any cost. Seems like that willpower would be tested within the next minute or two, if her arm would be severed that is. This could temporarily shock Katelyn's Split-Personality allowing her true personality to take over.
