Description
Prior to an event known as the "Fall", change brewed within the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
With the departure of the Archon and internal turmoil rampant, the Templar Order made a dramatic shift. The organization shifted, stepping away from existence as a formal "force order" in order to become the Knights Obsidian. During this momentous time of change, numerous standardizations were introduced. Amongst these was an iconic weapon to be utilized by each and every member: the Obsidian Lightsabre. Although a diverse congregation of force wielders made upon the Knights Obsidian, the Lightsabre was a means of creating a unified identity.
At the time, Isley was amongst the original generation of Knights Obsidian. In light of the Templar Order's conversion, he was amongst the first to construct an Obsidian Lightsabre. However, when all that the Mandalorian knew fell apart, his membership within the organization swiftly came to a conclusion. Of the few physical reminders of his time spent within the Confederacy, the Obsidian Lightsabre was amongst the most useful. Yet, in wake of the "Fall", Isley thought it proper to distinguish his "memento" from its countless siblings.
As such, the outermost casing was shed and replaced by one of onyx hue. Furthermore, Isley incorporated a basic, "Bloodshine" crystal (the very same as those standard during the era of the Sith Empire), which results in a blade of crimson hue. For the most part, the changes were aesthetic, for Isley left the waterproof casing and dual phase functionality as they were. As a whole, this lightsaber, dubbed "Obsidian", is not tremendously remarkable. Rather, it is a valued memento of a former life.
