As a sort of stop gap meassure before the design and engineering departments of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation are ready for a new line of droids for both military and civil use, the demand for a general upgrade or performance package was made by the higher ups, in order to mitigate the potential losses made on the profits generated through the Droid line up's general age and subsequent desinterest of clients. This performance package had to address at least three points of contention:
-the lack of OEM or official aftermarket revenue due to the simplicity of the ZMD models, this would firstly be done by installing the newer ZEUS MK II droid core or heavily modifying and updating said core in case of ZMDII models. Secondly this goal would also be achieved by utilizing more of the N&Z umbrella corporation's unique alloys and compounds for the manufacturing and refurbishing of these ZMD models.
-Upgrading the memory storage and processing power of the droids: This would be accomplished by installing the NZ SSTC or soft slicer technology coupler and connecting it to uprated gabonna crystals placed within the core's casing to add much needed data processing power and memory storage, thus further increasing the already impressive capacity of the ZMD models and further enhancing their uncanny capacity for strategic thinking, planning and probability assessment.
-Increasing the motorfunctions: By replacing much of the electrum wiring with carbon nanofibre tubing with Infinium 01458 running through those microscopic tubes allows for better conductivity and faster travelling of the electrical energy throughout the entire droid structure, thus allowing for better reaction times, better performance in terms of movement, flexibility and general motorfunctions.

- This performance Package grants the following upgrades to any and all ZMD and ZMDII models
- Increased Processing functions of the used Droid Core and|or complete overhaul and replacement of said droid core.
- Increased memory storage and updated database filing.
- Increased longevity of internal powersource
- Increased motor functions
- General Upgrade: The ZMD Performance Package is meant to put older models back in line with the standards of today, giving them a large general update and increasing their memory banks, storage and database filing capacity. Turning models which have expired their warranty back into Up to date droids.
- Increased Performance: As the name of the package suggests, this does increase the general performance of most older models, making them smarter, faster, stronger than before, all for the sake of keeping up with the competition.
- Increased resistances: Thanks to the newer Infinium 013158 casing for the droid core, these droids are more likely to survive harsh climates, hostile environments and atmospherical conditions which are considered lethal to most lifeforms.
- Expenses and parts: The Increased use of N&Z only parts means that should the droid in question be damaged after the upgrade, you are less likely to find qualified technicians and engineers outside of the N&Z facilities and affiliated repairshops.
- Additional poisonous parts: As is the case with most infinium related parts, they are poisonous and thus a danger to those untrained to work with the material. It is advisory NOT to try and fix this droid without proper knowledgeon the materials.
- Limited to military ZMD models: For now this package is only available for the military grade ZMD and ZMDII models.
