SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Force Veil (Perceptual Mask): Blends the wearer's Force signature into the ambient field, reducing clarity to Force-sensitives.
  • Predictive Scramble (Anticipation Diffusion): Distorts precognitive cues, making it harder to foresee wearer actions.
  • Null Impression (Emotive Dampening): Telepathic/empathic scans return only muffled echoes of intent or emotion.
  • Adaptive Silence: Force-camouflage grows stronger when the wearer is still, amplifying stealth in ambush conditions.
  • Optical & Acoustic Layering: Fibers reduce IR/visual contrast and dampen sound to complement metaphysical concealment.

STRENGTHS
  • Force-Oriented Camouflage: Makes Force-users struggle to sense, track, or predict the wearer.
  • Ambush Enabler: Maximizes effectiveness for surprise attacks and static observation posts.
  • Force-Dead Synergy: Amplifies the natural void-like presence of Force-dead individuals, rendering them nearly indistinguishable from background currents.
  • Multi-Spectrum Concealment: Provides modest optical/sonic masking alongside metaphysical camouflage.

WEAKNESSES
  • No Protection: Provides no resistance to weapons, energy, or projectiles.
  • Non-Universal: Offers minimal benefit against droids, scanners, or mundane senses.
  • Close-Range Breakthrough: Determined or powerful Force-users can pierce the camouflage once in combat.
  • Fragile: Highly vulnerable to flames, plasma, or lightsabers — a single strike can ruin the weave.

DESCRIPTION
Nyxweave was developed to solve a battlefield imbalance: the overwhelming advantage of Jedi and Sith who can sense intent, track presence, and predict danger through the Force. The Lilaste Order textile labs discovered that weaving microscopic Kov'dra fragments into synthetic fibers created a disruptive resonance. This resonance muffles a wearer's Force presence, scatters precognitive readings, and confuses empathic impressions.

The result is a camouflage fabric designed not for physical concealment, but for metaphysical misdirection. Soldiers clad in Nyxweave are not invisible to the naked eye, but to Force perception they appear as hollow shadows — indistinct, delayed, or out of phase. When paired with patience and stillness, the effect grows stronger, making ambushes and infiltration significantly more viable.

On Force-dead operatives, Nyxweave pushes their natural absence into near-total obscurity, erasing them from the metaphysical battlefield entirely. However, it is not foolproof: droids, scanners, and mundane senses are unaffected, and expert Force-users can still break through the mask at close range. Moreover, the fabric is fragile — it offers no armor value, and contact with lightsabers, plasma, or fire will quickly destroy it.

Exceptional Stealth Fielding: Outperforms most stealth fabrics against electronic sensors, motion trackers, and low-light optics

This is the big issue. If you wanted to keep it at limited it needs to be imperfect stealth protection. For example a cloak that doesn't hide you but just blurs your outline so you're visible when you move. A ghosting effect is reasonable, and there are canon examples of that tech, but in this case you'd need to scale back what you're saying this can do.

Copy I'll get to it here soon

That's definately headed in the right direction, it's important thought to note that it's not fully able to hide, jsut obscure and make it harder to see.

I'm going to approve this now, but if it's abused then I'll be forced to pull it.

Enjoy the stealth ambushes
