Noob question regarding the Factory

Well, still trying to figure out how things work.

So if I want to own a personal ship (someday) and start up a cantina (after earning enough), do I just create entries in starship creation and company creation, then wait for approval?

Just want to write for the sake of letting Mariya have a means to transport and have something else to do.

A cantina could be a location sub in the Codex as well, but otherwise you're the right track.

But there is no requirement to wait for approval to start writing about those things in a non-'competitive' thread (within reason, don't go assuming you stumbled upon a Super Star Destroyer, for example). What you've described you can easily toss into any public thread (or start one set in the cantina, for example) and worry about the subs later.

Also, any canon ships under 500m would be open to you without any sub required.

A cantina might fit better as a location submission in the Codex, but otherwise if you wish to submit your starship then simply post a submission in the starship section (if you need a manufacturer you can ask here and I'll find one for you, although you can use your own character as a manufacturer for an unique starship) using the template we have provided there.
