Non-Timeline Role-playing?

How many people would be interested in a new role-playing forum allowing you to role-play in any timeline of Star Wars, but it just won't be counted as "canon" for the board, necessarily, it'd just be to have fun?

Hmm, that would certainly be interesting. How would one participate in such a venture? Would they need to make a new char, adapt it, or just have them exist in two time periods with only one of them considered Canon?

If so, I'd love to do a Pre-Republic era role play!

Q: Does the Campaign Section already fulfill this function? Or would this be a dedicated towards non-GM scenarios?

My thoughts are that this proposed forum would operate as a non-canon RP area where you could use temporary characters to RP in any era.

That's fine...but you could achieve the same thing in the normal RP forum by having a 'Non-Canon' prefix tag....
