The Red of Sinner
Battle Sister

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: To create a worldcraft for a migrant fleet concept. To test an idea for the Vagrant Fleet mandate. To create a safe haven for those who do not wish to live on Eclipstica but still want the protection of the Shadow Empire

Strengths:
- Well shielded surface cover
- Thick metal structure creates a strong foundation
- While it can hold many citizens, it can make a escape from attacking fleets with a hyper-jump
- Key areas have extra shielding under the planetary shielding
- Capable of pulling ships out of hyperspace
- Can house species who do not breathe common air type 1 (oxygen)
Weaknesses:
- No offensive weapons
- High Value Target
- Slow, super slow
- Hyper-Jumps take a moment to initiate
- Orbit-docks are not shielded and debris from it's destruction can fall causing more strain on the shields or damage the worldcraft's surface
- Space Elevators have openings in the planetary shield, this opening is large enough for troop transports to fit through with ease and well aimed shots
- Star Destroyers are incapable of fighting while docked, and take time to release from docking
- Required a lot of resources to create and is the center of the empire's plan for a vagrant fleet, losing this worldcraft will put a large dent in the Shadow Empire's plans.
- Requires an escort if moving to a new area for protection
Description:
The Necrossal Stal is very much a larger scale version of the Asylum Station, a place for permanent residence if need be. Larger than some moons, the Necrossal Stal can move it's residence to a new location at any given time. Capable of holding tens of thousands of people at once, including members of the Shadow Empire that help keep the worldcraft maintained. A large skyring with it's support beams built into the worldcraft frame itself extends far out of the craft's artificial atmosphere. This is the largest weak point on the worldcraft if attacked. This skyring has nicknamed Ring of Asylum, here ships may dock, and bring supplies if need be. Large elevators extend from the skyring to craft surface. It's self sufficient, meaning that while supplies can last up to 10 years, they are farming to create more food and water to help replace numbers. On the worldfract's surface, one would not realize they are on a giant moving machine. The surface has cities, farmlands, lakes, and various other areas to give it an organic, planet like look. Habitat Shells help create areas for species to live within their normal atmosphere types, one for type 2, and one for type 3. These shells can hold around 500 citizens if need be. Moisturizer Farms help grab evaporated water, along with weather controlling machines to help produce things like small rain storms for the added effect of realism.
Each of these shells have their own dedicated shielding, along with each farm and city having their own shields. The worldcraft itself has a planetary shield, with it's weak points being each of the beams holding the skyring up. Dropships and and turbolaser fire could/can squeeze easily through with good aim, or fine piloting. While there are no weapons on this worldcraft, there are point defense cannons to destroy incoming missiles, and missile launchers capable of disabling enemy weapons only. Members on the Ring of Asylum can via lifeboats.
One of the largest things about this worldcraft is it's solar power plants. Most of the cities, and shells are solar powered with back up hypermatter plants to keep them running for just in case situations. While not the most reliable source of power sometimes, with the planetcraft capable of moving into solar rays at any given time to help insure that the solar power keeps coming.
The worldcraft has 5 garrisons of military should enemies every land on the surface. These garrisons have vehicles for ground warfare, along with bomb shelters for citizens capable of holding the entire populace if need be. The shelters go well under the artificial surface to be surrounded by massively thick walls of durasteel, with a Quadanium layer to mask the workings under the durasteel. This is done in hope to prevent enemies from realizing this is a worldcraft.
Among the features on this worldcraft is a Gravity Well Projector, this device allows the worldcraft to be pull incoming ships with malfunctions in hyperspace out safely. It is not capable of any forms of offensive use, and can only pick up ships considered allies or ships of the Shadow Empire within a databank. So enemy ships could easily pass by without the Gravity Well Projector capable of doing anything to them.
