Darkthrone Arialyard

Corporation Name: Darkthrone Arialyard

Headquarters: A Shipyard in Korriban space

Locations: Same as Headquarters.

Operations: Ship Building, Piracy, Salvage

Rationale: Slowly saved up from all the factions he's been in to finally open up a his own shipyard, originally not what he saved it for, but the greed of the dark side drove to this decision.
As to exactly what he has done in order to obtained said funds, Romeo was currently a member of The Horde, and was part of many invasions, and dominions for them, saving what he earned from the group, lease not forget when he soloed his journey. He was then going about as a hired hand here, and there, making a lot less than what he did in The Horde. Romeo then found himself Levantine Sanctum, doing one dominion for them, then leaving after finding it wasnt for him, still he saved what he earned from them. Romeo is now the caretaker of the Savans' daughter as well, giving him a deep connection in money. Romeo's ex wife Patricia Susan Garter was well off, and also gave him some connections in money.

Tier: Tier 2

Description:

Romeo now hell bent on commanding an army now sees his desires coming to life. Somewhere in deep New Order space resides the Darkthrone Arialyard, slowly but surely building warship after warship. Tasked to hold hold some ships for the fleet, others to be sold anonymously to Sith factions in need of ships for their own fleet. Its a strict, don't ask don't tell project. Money comes in from raiding other ships, materials come in from what can be salvaged. Along with trade throughout Sith for their own uses in exchange for what they hustle out in return.

The goal of this company to help produce a secret fleet for Romeo Sin and Sith alike, to help begin expansion, and plans of conquering planets. The true dream of the company is to produce space stations as bases. (NO Super Weapon like stations.) Some of the stations maybe secret hideaways, while other can be fortresses, or even academies.

The business will start off by building Starfighters, and Shuttles to refresh already lost small vessels for the Sith, then as more money rolls in from them, the vessels will then be bigger in designs such as Corvettes, and possibly Frigates, all the way till they are capable of building full Warships. By this time Recycling older vessels will become a possible plan for the company to give the Sith more old school feel for when the Empire was in it's Golden Age. The long term goal of the company is to become

Tier 5, dishing out ships like it's going out of style, and be expanded across ALL Sith space. The short term goal is to begin building Fighters worthy of the Empire, and catch the Empire's eyes on the well made ships. If our ships are winning dog fights, then maybe our ships will be winning space battles all together. We believe through victories, profits can be made.

The Shipyard is small possibly only able to make maybe 20 fighters, and 2 shuttles a week, maybe more if the effort is put forth.

Profit will also be made by raided ships brought in by Sith looking to retro fit these ships with better armor, and weapons. What the Darkthrone would like to see in it's product is satisfaction, victories, and more pilots coming home to their families. They would like to eventually see their Cruisers, Frigates, and other vessels trusted with the protection of Flagships,, out on the front line destroying the enemy, and in return...the flow of cash in demands of more ships.

Secretly many operations for the company are through piracy, and salvaging ships in space. This is to help sometimes cut down the cost to build a full ship, or to buy material needed to fix hulls, and what not. The company understands that it is not capable of building a massive amount of ships, nor is it able to build large ships, YET.

Are you sure you need this to be a canon company if you're just going to change the name from the get-go and keeping virtually none of the original company's history? Also, you need to have a better description and rationale if you wish to start at Tier II or have a canon company.

The sole objective of a corporation is to make money. What you have described here does not make money. It makes ships for your character. This is not a profitable venture seeing as he has now spent a large portion of his money to open shipyards in the first place, within the borders of a faction that no longer exists in any meaningful way.

Solely using derelict, ancient vessels is not a solid nor viable business strategy. In addition, many of the parts you would salvage from such vessels would be horrendously outdated if not completely useless. It would therefor cost more to actually salvage and repair the vessels than could be recouped by selling them.

Please rethink this and edit accordingly.

A Tier II company cannot afford to keep a large fleet. Please keep this line from the Factory Rules in mind.

A Tier 2 corporation may own ships up to 200 meters, for a total of 800 meters.
Also remember to regularly consult it as you advance in tier. You mention you wanted to lead an army too. There's no concrete rules for that, but the amount of ships you maintain should give you a solid guideline on what exactly your corporate militia should look like. Don't expect a private military worthy of most battles until Tier V.

You'll need to add "piracy" and "salvaging" to your list of operations.

If this isn't located within or near a star system, please give a general location. The New Order no longer exists in a meaningful way, so it's hard to gauge where their space is or was.

I think these are all my current issues. Fix them up and you'll be good to go. Thanks for being patient.

Can I request a little more in the Rationale? Being in a Faction does not immediately dictate that your character would have amassed enough wealth to set up a company, build a shipyard and afford to produce the first line of products. A little extra detail in precisely how the money was gained within the Factions is all I'm after.
