Elpsis had abandoned the teachings of the Jedi, especially since most of the so-called 'defenders of peace and justice' didn't follow them anyway. A bunch of jihadists had hurt her friends, so she wanted to beat the crap out of them. The hypocrisy really pissed her off. "My mother could help, too, if she's available. She's a good mentalist. Like, real great," she said, sounding just a little proud of mummy. She scoffed when Nima tried to caution them due to the consequences this might entail

"The Sanctum's a bunch of spineless, cowardly wusses. They're too scared to even fight Sith who trespass on their lawn. I...may be able to help track your attackers with my farsight, if I investigate the crime scene." Even if that meant potentially running into spineless Silvers.

"You can investigate crime scenes and punish Jedi all you want, dear, but this young woman really needs some rest," the healer interjected from outside of the room, sounding equal parts exasperated and concerned for her patient.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Her consciousness faded away to nothingness as the seconds passed. She could hear some voices, even though in her brain they were all unintelligible, afterwards the voices got quieter and quieter each second, completely disappearing, leaving her alone with a black screen. It was then, Nima truly was left in the dark abyss, where it was only her and her thoughts. And she had none... Would it be her chance to finally get a good rest? No... She didn't think so. The loneliness was good for only a limited time after all, after that sweet time of peace and quiet, it would start to haunt you... disturb you... change your thoughts... Make you do things that you would regret. Was it worth the pain, for that limited time of peace and quiet? Who knows... Nima was only starting to get used to socializing anyway.

Time goes, time goes... And where was she? Sleeping probably, in this comfortable bed where she only had to press a button and everything was changed and brought according to her needs. She was getting better and better, the pain in her stomach was not hurting that much anymore. Yet of course, it had a side effect, because nothing was perfect in her world. This session of sleeping was a bit different from the others.

It wasn't like a dream, or a nightmare in her case... She could almost feel the bed. Was she semi conscious? "Hello?" She called, but nothing was heard back. She couldn't even hear her own voice anyway. Maybe it was one of the effects of the medicine? She got up from the bed and started to walk in the abyss, she could hear or see nothing but some beeping voice. Probably the machines. She continued to walk, walk and walk. "Hello? What's... happening?" It was a nightmare. She had something like this before... It would only end if you continued walking, then at the end of the road, death awaited you... So she continued to walk.

"You... *unintelligible sounds* Jedi. You bring darkness to the *unintelligible sounds*"

She knew that voice. She could see a silhouette far ahead.

"It's our duty *unintelligible sounds*"

It was the same voice. More silhouettes appeared. One of them resembled her own.

"Please go home *unintelligible sounds*"

She continued to walk... She could see them almost clearly now. There was something going on... A fight maybe?... Wait...

The one silhouette that resembled her was stabbed in the stomach. Then she remembered... But why? Why was she back here now? And why did it feel so real?... She moved closer towards herself... She was in pain, almost unconscious... Nima moved closer and closer...

Then suddenly the Twi'lek stopped because her dream self moved and looked at her... The face got blurrier and blurrier.

"You rest. I'll take over from here."

Then she woke up suddenly, gasping for air because of the shock. As the reality kicked in, she was still in the hospital... What... was that? Another nightmare? But it felt very real... She looked around, as her vision slowly became clearer and then pushed herself to sit. "Calm down... Nightmares... You always have those..." She told to herself and waited in the bed for a little while to think about the bizarre nightmare.

The Twi'lek Paladin would not be alone for long. As far as hospital rooms went, hers was quite nice. The bed was comfortable, there were a couple paintings on the walls and it seemed people had left flowers and various get-well cards. That was always nice. Anyhow, the door suddenly opened and Siobhan walked in. Or rather limped into the room because she still had a bad leg. This was mostly because her writer was mean to her on occasion. Regardless, here she was.

She wore a set of fiery robes, coloured crimson and orange. The colours of the Fire Order. Small pearls graced her ears and her feet were tucked into black leather boots. She carried a bouquet of flowers. Her makeup was rather subdued, but she wore a pleasant scent. "Hey there," she said softly. "Bad dreams? [member="Tempest"] told me what happened. I'm so sorry."

Tempest

[member="Elpsis Elaris"] [member="Nima Tann"] [member="Charlyra Araano"]

Tempest was at that minute waking up from a short sleep of her own. They’d had to jump through 27 hoops to get access to the security footage of the incident. Clearly the Jedi distrusted them and were not willing to do anything, even if it would help them catch the people who had attacked one of their own.

Still, they’d been promised the footage in the morning, but first Tempest rose and headed to collect Elpsis and Lyra so they could check on Nima.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
While she was thinking about the nightmare just now, she heard the door opening with a sudden “swoosh” voice. Nima looked at the entrance, seeing Sio with flowers, she couldn’t help but smile, almost immediately forgetting about her nightmare. “Hey.” She said, in her tone one could easily read the happiness. They didn’t see each other that much after the party in Tygara, and she missed her. After that, she pushed herself to get up from the bed, her wounds hurt but not so much. Taking the flower and putting it to the table near her where the other get well cards and flowers stood, she hugged Sio lightly. Then, as the wound started to hurt once again, she slowly sat back to her bed. “Thanks for the flowers. You all are so sweet.” There were a lot of get well cards and flowers, if Nima wasn’t Nima, she would get spoiled. And luckily she had a clear head today, the medicine wasn’t as effective as before. Or it was probably the nightmare, but that wasn’t news.

“The usual. You know I can’t sleep without one or two nightmares.” She nodded, even though it wasn’t like before she didn’t want to talk about it right now. “It's okay." She nodded with a smile as she didn't want to see her sad. "It was Krook. It seems like he finally rallied some of his friends to kill me... “ She sighed, it was more of a sad one as it was still an unbelievable and unexpected experience. “But it seems I somehow managed to cripple all of them. They say one of them is missing. I suspect that it’s Krook.” She didn’t know why she thought Krook would escape, but yeah. It was like a hunch. “It’s... quite embarrassing to be in a situation like this. I don’t even remember half of it.” Then she added, realizing that she was ruining the mood once again she decided to change the subject. “The good news is, my wound is getting better and I’ll be able to leave the medbay after healers complete my documents and all. But no action until they fully heal.” She didn’t know much about the procedures, even though the place was like a home and all comfortable, she didn’t like to stay in medbays that much.

“How are you doing? We didn’t talk that much after the party.” She looked at her with happy eyes.

The Dahomian Amazon did not have to go look for Elpsis, since her girlfriend just happened to be lying in the same bed! Elpsis was more than a little cross about the fact when a certain white-haired amazon arose and left her. "Hey, come back here," she muttered sleepily. Normally she was the one who woke up first, but it seemed roles were reversed for a change. So she tried to grab Tempest and pull her back inside. "Is it already morning?"

In all fairness, negotiating with Jedi had been rather tiring last night. Admittedly this might have been because the two Fire Order Mistresses had not taken the time zone differences between Voss and Tygara into account!

"Chesna helped Galina when she had nightmares. I can send her over to do the same for you," Siobhan offered. Her features darkened at the mention of the Jedi jihadist. "I should've broken Krook's neck instead of just his nose." Her tone was cold, cold fury was reflected in her eyes. She was presently entertaining some rather unpleasant ideas about how to best torture him. One of them involved the use of thumbscrews.

"We'll find him and anyone else who's in his gang. Then he'll pay. [member="Tempest"] and Elpsis should be getting their hands on the security footage. They'll be a room for you at my villa once you get out of here."

Tempest

[member="Elpsis Elaris"] [member="Nima Tann"] [member="Charlyra Araano"]

It was probable that Chesna would try to, ahem, help with other things when she was with Nima, but that went without saying!

Meanwhile Tempest indeed did not have to look far. She bent over and gave Elpsis a kiss.
“Come on, firemane, we need to go and see Nima and tell her what we found. It was Krook, I’m sure of it. When I get my hands on him….”

They would make their way to the hospital room where Nima and Siobhan were, and they would all convene there on the next step.

[member="Nima Tann"], [member="Tempest"]

Elpsis returned the kiss, her tongue sweeping past Tempest's sweet lips to claim the warm softness beyond. Finally, she stopped lazing around and got up. As much as she wanted to spend the day in bed with her white-maned black lover, she needed to avenge her friend and roast a Jedi!

"We take turns? You electrocute him one round, I boil his blood the next? That should hurt him a lot," she suggested. Such a sweet, vicious girl. Anyhow, she put some clothes on since she'd been sleeping naked, and made her way to the hospital room.

Caeltuile, New Santaissa
Charlyra returned to the hospital known as Caeltuile, here her friend [member="Nima Tann"] was recovering, it had been sometime since she had last seen the Twi'lek master. No longer was Charlyra out and about in the Galaxy but instead she was home, training with her Master @Tempest. Caeltuile like much of the Eldorai capital represented both new and old, the old of Kaeshana and the new Tygara. Sweeping her hands through her dark tresses the fire acolyte ascended the steps of the hospital and walked through the lobby.

Inside you could see the Firemane logo, Caeltuile was a privately owned hospital and one where most if not all of Firemane's employees went to instead of the Eldorai ones. Walking into the turbolift, she heard someone shout for it to hold. Her hand went to the door of the lift, to find a woman dressed in some kind of uniform step inside. "Good?" Charlyra asked and the woman nodded, "floor?" Just as she pressed the one for Nima's room.

"Same as yours, we're good, thanks by the way," the woman said softly.

"You're new, right?" Charlyra asked and of course this woman was new, Charlyra recognized most of the employees who lived around New Santaissa, "names Charlrya Araano, I'm an acolyte with Firemane."

The other woman lifted a brow and then sighed, "ah right the hokey religion stuff, cool, names Symara Tarriq. I work security for Firemane, here to talk to ... Master Nima Tann, and hopefully get the lead on the case."

"Ah, well then Symara follow me, pretty sure there's a few ladies who'd like to meet you," she replied, as she stepped off the lift.

Symara had been released back into active duty from Firemane's HQ on Mon Cal, the former CorSec sniper had been there under heavy monitoring and surgery after the raid on Corellia. They were able to save her but with some upgrades as it were, replacing broken bones with metal, screws, and other artificial components to keep the Corellian alive. She couldn't hear or feel the whirring of the mechanical components, but she felt stronger, better, and faster than she had before going to Firemane. Little did Symara know that she had actually worked for Siobhan and Tegaea before, but at that time she was unaware of who they were.

A private company speeder delivered her to the Eldorai capital and another whisked her straight to the hospital, Caeltuile. Symara wondered if there was anything here that Firemane didn't own. Looking down at her new police uniform, rather private security uniform she figured not to look a gift Bantha in the mouth. She came into the lobby right after a young brunette, Symara had to admit that working at Firemane was going to put her into an early grave. Looking down at the wedding ring that dangled from her neck on a thin chain she stuffed it inside of her uniform and yelled for the lift, "hold the door!"

From there she was introduced to Charlyra Araano, an acolyte - because of course, Firemane has it's own Jedi Order or whatever. "Lead the way," Symara gestured out of the lift and followed the acolyte down the brightly lit corridor. Natural lighting illuminated their path, clean air swept around them. She didn't say anything else to Charlyra until they had reached the hospital room where this Master Nima Tann was recovering. Inside, Charlyra took the liberty of introducing everyone.

"Masters Nima, Siobhan, Tempest, and Knight Elpsis this is Symara Tarriq, security for Firemane."

Symara smirked when she saw Elpsis, she remembered the kid from Corellia but didn't mention and instead looked to the masters, "morning, and as Acolyte Araano said, I'm Symara Tarriq, Lieutenant with Firemane Security. My apologies for the delay, there are some stubborn doctors on Mon Cal." A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips.

"You know, it would be easier for me if you just did that." She sighed. "Worst punishment I would get would be house arrest. I rarely leave... left my house anyway." The Silvers weren't known for their skills in judgement to be honest, so house arrest was the extreme case. Anyway... "And I would appreciate the help. But I am used to them by now, they keep me alert all the time. Who needs sleep anyway, right?" She laughed afterwards, it was more of a sarcastic one, like "me and my miserable life" kind of laugh.

By "he'll pay.", she could see Krook and the crew were in trouble, knowing the Fire Order for some time now. Did she want any more trouble? No. And she wasn't in revenge mode either still. "Are you... sure about that? I really don't want to cause more trouble for you." Then she sighed, looking at the expression on her face. Probably she was thinking about what method she was going to use to torture him by now. How did she know, right? "Of course you are..." She added then smiling. "Well... at least start from his jaw... It will spare you the trouble of him talking a lot..." Sio was indeed a good bad influence on Nima.

Then, the hospital room became more crowded when Elpsis and Tempest came in. Then Charlyra and a girl that she didn't know followed. After nodding to the newcomers, she turned to the new girl, still sitting on bed. "Nice to meet you Symara!" She said, with not so energetic but still a welcoming tone. Security of Firemane? Why was she here for? Well, probably the others in the room knew and Nima was being all clueless.

Tempest’s jaw set. “Even if we captured Krook and the others involved they would not be adequately punished by the Silvers. They are weak and feeble, daring not give justice for crimes. I dare say they’d consider house arrest too severe and cruel for trying to murder another Jedi.”
She stopped her rant…but it was clear her resentment and anger was deep there.

She distracted herself from it by looking to the newcomer. “Welcome, Symara. I’d heard you joined us, and I heard about you from Elpsis.”

She looked back to Nima. “We’re at a decision, Nima. The Jedi will not take action for these crimes against you. Therefore, we can do it…but if we do the results can’t be predicted,” she said ominously. She would obviously try and take the Jedi responsible in…but to where? The Silver Jedi would let him off with a slap on the wrist, a Tygara trial would have no legitimacy. Likely the Jedi would resist and…well…it would certainly suit Tempest if he did.

[member="Nima Tann"], [member="Charlyra Araano"], [member="Symara Tarriq"], [member="Tempest"]

Elpsis scoffed. "Trouble? The Silver wusses don't even have the balls to punish Sith. They're too busy meditating or being lovey-dovey. They give murderers a hug and a warning. We don't have time for spineless cowards. If we want justice, we find this guy ourselves," her voice dripped with disdain for the so-called 'Jedi' and she took Tempest's hand.

However, then she was distracted by the arrival of a certain older bossy black woman. Charlyra made introductions, but Elpsis seemed to be too excited to see her. "Mara, it's great to see you," she exclaimed and crossed the distance to envelope the smaller woman into a hug. Last time she'd seen her, she'd been on the brink of death. Finally releasing her, she gave the Corellian a good one-over. "You look...good. So you're with Firemane now? That's cool. That's Tempest, the girlfriend I told you about," she glanced towards 'her' older boss black woman. Then she seemed to remember the plot. "We've got a psycho Jedi on the loose and stuff."

[member="Nima Tann"], [member="Charlyra Araano"], [member="Symara Tarriq"], [member="Tempest"]

Siobhan had been quiet while Nima, Elpsis and Tempest spoke. For a moment, she glanced out of the window and beheld New Santaissa. "The Silver Jedi comprehensively lost any claim to the moral high ground. The Coalition is a farce. This is becoming more plain every day," she finally said. "Firemane will continue to do business with the Coalition, but we're not tied or obligated to support them. They're just another client, nothing more."

"Use whatever means are necessary to apprehend this man. No mess, no collateral," her voice was stern. "But get it done." A Tygara trial would have no legitimacy, but she honestly did not care. The Silver Council had no legitimacy in the first place. She might just give him to [member="Mirien Valdier"] and let her make him disappear.

And if he resisted, that solved the problem. Her eyes darted towards the two newcomers. "Good to see you, Charlyra. Lieutenant Tarriq, welcome aboard. Your Cor-Sec record is impeccable and Elpsis over here speaks very highly of you. Someone with police experience will be invaluable."

Symara patted Elaris Elpsis's back, rubbing small circles as she took a step back to take a look at the fiery young redhead, "thank you, and it's good to see you, too." She merely nodded in acknowledgment to Elpsis, and then, "[member="Tempest"], okay." She gave the other woman a smile, "yeah I might've gotten that from the log, psycho Jedi." Once more, hokey religion and their zealots. And when [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] spoke to her she smiled, "thank you, Mrs. Kerrigan and I hope I can prove myself to be invaluable," and not just for the police work.

"Master Tann, hello, how are you feeling?" Symara asked as she checked her stylus on the tablet, "and from my understanding this Jedi his name was Krook?" She writes it down, "and the incident took place at the hotel, correct?" It was police speak at this point, she turned to @Elpsis Elaris and then took a few more notes, "Elpsis do you and Tempest have anything further to add, I'm still getting the evidence from the first responders on the scene, witnesses all of it sent to my office and I'll go through it along with any statements you'd like to make from the investigation so far."

[member="Nima Tann"] |

Charlyra watched the interactions and here in the room she decided to stand beside Tempest perhaps closer to the door, "Elpsis, Masters Tempest and Siobhan, Master Nima." She finally decides to slide around to get a better view of the now better feeling Nima Tann. "You're looking better," she smiles she's happy to see Nima recovering, the hospital was a good one, but of course it was. Firemane owned it so it was beyond good, perhaps one of the best in the sector, but that would be bragging. "More psycho Jedi? Krook, mhmm?" Perhaps she could get on this investigation, but if they took on the investigation and it sounded like they were...

Firemane's Security? They had security? Well. They were a paramilitary organization, so that made sense. Still, Charlyra wondered where they could go from here. She looked to Elpsis and Tempest and lastly Master Siobhan. Krook might meet the business end of her sabre, or Tempest's guns, or Elpsis' or Siobhan's - and that's if he was lucky, otherwise he'd feel ever ounce of pain that Master Nima Tann had to endure.

Nima sighed. They had pretty strong points indeed, one would be Sochi’s “trial”, in which they just accepted her back without even questioning her first. Even though Nima found them the evidence that something was wrong with her with the help of [member="Sumiko Tanaka"]. She was in a morally grey area, and she didn’t know what to do at first, being herself. She didn’t want to cause trouble even though they repeated that it wouldn’t be trouble, but at the same time, something in herself just wanted to find Krook and... So she just chose to go with the plan and nodded. “You are right. We are going to deal with him ourselves. I don’t want him to go free and spread more lies about me, or any of us here.” He knew Sio very well, since he probably had to get a new nose after their confrontation.

“I am better, thank you.” She smiled to Charlyra. Then turned to Symara. “It happened at the Temple in Voss. There was Krook and then other four Masters. The others are found in the scene, but Krook is missing. I think I walked to the hotel afterwards... I don’t really remember the details.” She said, trying to remember once more but failing miserably. “I think Sio said Elpsis and Tempest found security footage of the incident, maybe that’ll help you more.” She added afterwards. It was not that helpful, but every bit of info would be good.

“We’ve got the footage alright. We’ll find this Jedi no matter what,” Tempest said grimly. “If he has any decency he will see what he’s done is wrong and come quietly…otherwise he won’t.”

She patted Nima’s hand. “We’ll leave immediately. Lyra, are you with me? Tarriq, you want to come along too?” She looked to Elpsis. “Want to come along? I can’t imagine that you’re going to say no to finding a Jedi scumbag, huh?” she asked with a wry smile.

Elpsis was rather eager to become reacquainted with the black lady, who ironically was a good deal smaller than she was. "We so gotta catch up," Elpsis said happily before she realised Symara was here to do a job. Tempest was being all gung-ho, Elpsis agreed.

Right, psycho Jedi! Purge them with holy fire! "Yeah, what Nima and Tempest said. Jedi sent the footage to us. Didn't get the chance to investigate the crime scene on Voss yet. I could help track Krook." How, by using hokey religions and mysticism, of course!
