STRENGTHS
  • Suppressing Fire: The main purpose of a machine gun is to provide overwhelming firepower in the hands of one person and Noah's custom version achieves this objective in spades with its very high rate of fire and high stopping power
  • Extremely Versatile: Being a slugthrower Noah's LMG has access to a wide variety of ammo, to top this off it has access to a wide variety of accessories and optics as well as being able to feed from both magazines and belts, all of this combined makes it an extremely versatile weapon system
WEAKNESSES
  • Large and Heavy: As with almost all light machine guns the amount of materials and technical aspects that go into their construction means that they are usually rather large and heavy, Noah's custom version is no exception to this
  • Limited Capacity: While compared to most slugthrowers a light machine gun has a much larger capacity it is still rather limited to compared to contemporary blasters of the same size and operational use
DESCRIPTION
After finishing work on his sniper rifle Noah found that the last piece he needed to round out his armory and make it complete, a light machine gun. As he began to formulate ideas about what exactly he wanted in his LMG and he found that it would be advantageous to have a LMG that could feed the same magazines that he used in his rifle and so he got to work. He achieved this by taking the magazine well from a FR-01 and constructed the weapon on this building block, modifying it to accept belts as well as magazines.

Once Noah was done modifying and testing the initial prototype to make sure it worked he began work on selecting the materials for the end product. He chose Titanium-Alusteel Alloy for the upper and lower receiver as well as the internal mechanisms due to its sturdiness and light weight. He made the barrel out of Dallorian alloy due to its natural resistance to heat, he also lined the inside of the barrel with Chromium to reduce wear and tear. Lastly he constructed all of the furniture out of Plastoid and plated the entire weapon in CeramiCoat.

With the almost final product in front of him Noah began to add the features he would need to the weapon. All the usual ambidextrous controls were added as well as a few being extended to make them easier to operate in adverse conditions. He flared the magazine well to make reloads smoother when using magazines. He took a pair of recoil buffers from an AR-01 and modified them to fit in the stock he installed to help mitigate recoil, as well as a recoil pad to mitigate felt recoil. He added your typical optics, accessory and grip/bipod rails. Lastly he added in a threaded heavy barrel to reduce upward recoil and allow the attachment of muzzle devices, he also made the barrel a quick change barrel to allow for fast swapping in the unlikely event of overheating.

Replaced the image and made sure to update the image source. Also removed the 'Integrated Bipod' and 'Integrated Foregrip' and replaced them with 'Grip/Bipod Rail' in the features and changed the description.
