After using both his custom AR-01 and FR-01 in combat Noah found that he was having a tough time deciding which was better, finding that both of them had admirable qualities and performed well in the same types of situations. To remedy the problem he had Noah decided to take a AR-01 and a FR-01 and create a hybrid of the two rifles. Noah's first attempt was trying to simply merge the upper and lower receivers of the two rifle but the quickly found that the two receivers weren't compatible. His second attempt was much more successful as he took a AR-01 and modified the lower receiver to feed from FR-01 magazines. From there he modified the upper receiver to accept a modified FR-01 bolt carrier group that works with the AR-01's short stroke gas piston. This melding of systems allowed for the pros, and some of the cons, of both systems to be implemented into one rifle.
Once the exact specs of the rifle were figured out Noah began the choosing of materials and construction of the rifle. He constructed the upper and lower receivers out of the typical Titanium-Alusteel Alloy to save on weight without sacrificing durability. He chose Dallorian alloy for the barrel for its natural heat-resistance to stop the barrel from warping if the rifle ever has to be fired for sustained periods and lined the barrel with Chromium to reduce wear from firing. The grip, stock and handguard were constructed out of Plastoid for its lightness yet durability. Lastly he plated the rifle in CeramiCoat to reduce wear on the outside of the rifle.
After construction was complete Noah began to work on the features of the rifle. Like always Noah added in extended ambidextrous controls to make the rifle easier to operate in either hand. He added a telescoping stock with two of the recoil buffers used in the AR-01 to better compensate for the larger round than the buffer is designed for. Optic, accessory and grip rails were added to give Noah the freedom to custom the rifle for the mission at hand. He utilized the same short stroke gas piston used in the AR-01 which allows the rifle to function better in adverse conditions. He hammer forged the barrel out of a heavier constructed alloy to increase durability and the heavier weight reduces vertical recoil. He replaced the original bolt carrier group with a ion bonded variation that more reliable and durable and easier to maintain. He flared the magazine well to allow for smoother reloads, textured the pistol grip to allow for a more firm grip on it and added hollow spaces in the stock and grip to store spare parts for the rifle.
