Being well known for crafting his own custom weapons however what is not well known that Noah also custom crafts the ammo he uses in said weapons. This process started rather early in his career, beginning hand loading cartridges during his time as a Commando in the Republic Army due to both personal preferences for certain types of ammunition and the thought of most mass produced ammo being unsuitable and not up to snuff quality.
With all weapons and gear Noah creates he first started with choosing the materials that he would use to build the ammunition. All the cartridges he designed share some similarities such as all the pistol and rifle cartridge casings being made of brass and plated with nickel, the nickel plating letting it feed more smoothly and resist corrosion better, with the shotgun shells being cased in Plastoid to prevent corrosion as well. Every bullet is jacketed with your typical copper alloy while the propellant used is Noah's own particular blend of ball propellant, because he needs to use his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering somehow.
After this way done Noah began choosing what types of ammunition would be most beneficial to him and he started by choosing the pistol ammunition. For his go to all around cartridge he chose the venerable full metal jacket round consisting of a lead core surrounded by a copper jacket, the gold standard for all FMJ bullets. Next came a bullet that he needed for dealing with unarmored targets, a jacketed hollow point. Most hollow points aren't jacketed to begin with but the jacketed variant of it tends to feed better in magazine fed weapons and expands sooner meaning more damage is done.
The next cartridge he decided on was a 'Super' cartridge for when he needed more stopping power, 'Super' cartridges are made by lengthening the case slightly and adding more powder while also replacing the standard FMJ bullet with a heavier one, with this increased velocity and mass giving the round more power.
He also created a armor piercing variant of the Super handload, replacing the relatively soft lead core with a much denser Neuranium one to help with armor penetration. Lastly he created a tracer round by hollowing out the base of the FMJ bullet and filling it with magnesium. Lastly he crafted a subsonic round, a round made heavier to make sure it doesn't break the sound barrier and therefore not cause a sonic boom, this combined with a suppressor make them especially stealthy.
With the pistol cartridges finished Noah moved on to designing the rifle cartridges. The first one was similar to its pistol cartridge counterpart, a simple full metal jacket round round made of a lead core surrounded by a copper alloy jacket. Next came another similar round to its pistol counterpart, a pointed soft point round that is designed to fly with your standard full metal jacket round but it squashes on impact, acting much like a hollow point and this provides more stopping power.
Next came a uniquely rifle style of ammunition that Noah first used during his time in the Galactic Republic Army Commandos, match grade ammo. Match grade ammo is designed for extreme accuracy at long ranges, made with a boat tail, pressure formed core and molecularly fused jacket these rounds are known for hitting where they are supposed to shot after shot. He also made a tracer and subsonic round using the same method as he did for the pistol rounds.
The next type of ammunition Noah formulated was a series of shotgun shells. The first one was a simple shell of double aught buckshot consisting of eight 8.4mm durasteel shot. The next shell was a rather unique shell, jungleshot, which is a shot filled with two distinct types of shot, a smaller #4 buckshot designed to pierce foliage and then much larger #1 buckshot to follow up right behind it. Next was a rather simple solid slug made up of Neuranium that is designed to pierce through heavy armor at close ranges.
Next Noah made a flechette shell, essentially a shotgun shell filled with 18.5mm long alusteel darts designed to be a much longer range option when using a shotgun. Next he produced a more unique shell, a incendiary shell often called 'Dragon's Breath' consisting of thermite pellets packed into the shell and that ignite soon after leaving the barrel and spew a jet of incendiary material. The last shell he made was a explosive one, basically a small COMP-X charge in a plastic case with a pressure detonator that makes it go off when it hits a solid object.
The last type ammunition Noah crafted was one of a special type, a pure Beskar one. The ammunition is made for both pistol and rifle cartridges and is different for two reasons, the first being obvious that the bullet is made out of Beskar and the second being that each one is made from hand with no machines or such involved. Noah made this round for dealing with Beskar clad enemies, be they Mandalorian or not, or when he needs to send a message.
