  • Rebreather Helmet - New Imperial Shoretrooper armor comes with an armored helmet equipped with a rebreather, which can prevent certain toxins from being inhaled and allows for extensive operations in up to Class II atmospheres.
  • Utility Belt
  • Environmental Filters
STRENGTHS
  • Bucketheads On Vacation - New Imperial Shoretrooper Armor's light weight and generous air circulation grants stormtroopers maximum comfort in tropical areas while remaining practical.
  • Lightweight - Weighing roughly 10 kilograms, Shoretrooper Armor does not burden troopers as much as many other variations of stormtrooper armor used by the NIO. Its light weight combined with its lack of restrictive leg armor makes it easy to move around in, allowing shore troopers to be more mobile than their regular counterparts.
  • Swimsuit Of Steel - For its weight, Shoretrooper Armor has impressive durability, with its armor plating comparable in quality to that of New Imperial Storm Armor.
WEAKNESSES
  • The Legs - While the armor plates of Shoretrooper Armor can handle a beating, no such plating exists from the thighs to the lower sixth of the armor's leg portion. Consequently, the legs are vulnerable to even small-arms fire unless a sufficiently durable body glove is utilized.
  • Acid Leak - The numerous small gaps in Shoretrooper Armor used for improved ventilation also allow for corrosive chemicals to easily bypass the plating, leaving a trooper's body with very little protection.
DESCRIPTION

As the New Imperial Order's borders continued to expand, they considered establishing garrisons on tropical worlds.
However, it was soon found that standard Storm Armor gave troopers great discomfort on beaches and in tropical climates. No longer willing to ignore the sheer quantity of complaints coming towards their commanders, the Stormtrooper Corps decided to create a tropical weather armor. As with many other technologies developed by the New Imperial Order, the old Empire was drawn upon for inspiration. As it turns out, the Galactic Empire had used shoretroopers to defend tropical garrisons such as the Scarif facility. Ultimately, the Stormtrooper Corps concluded that shoretrooper armor could be reused and modernized for New Imperial troopers. After a short modification period, New Imperial Shoretrooper Armor was perfected and Corps-wide production began.
